They have turkey parts (think things like the neck-great for making soup stock), turkey breasts, hamburger patties, dairy items, fresh produce, fresh baked breads and pie! The store is well laid out, clean and sunny. The people we interacted with were quite nice. They have a good size parking area in front. Prices are higher than grocery stores, but supporting local farmers is 100% worth a few extra bucks. Check them out. read more

When you first see Ashley Farms, you have an intuition that this is a great find. The sign outside surrounded by Black Eyed Susan's is just beautiful. We've passed this place often, but my wife and I finally had an opportunity to stop in this week. Being naturally drawn to sweets, the pies and the cakes were the first things we looked at. What an amazing selection! If you like pies, that alone is enough reason to come here. Since it's almost Fall, we bought a pumpkin cream cheese roll. It was absolutely amazing! We also picked up a couple of apple cinnamon scones for breakfast the next morning. We have friends who say the tomatoes here are the best around, and that's saying something since we know all the places with great NJ tomatoes! For Thanksgiving this year we decided to get a fresh turkey from here and some of their "homemade" pies. Turkey was good, but the pies (Pecan and Pumpkin) were absolutely the worst pies I've ever eaten. Actually, we couldn't even eat them they were so inedible. The pecan had zero taste and was wrapped in plastic which means they probably buy them cheap and sell for a huge profit. Pumpkin pie had a very rubbery texture and again zero taste. We were so embarrassed as no one ate the pies. We threw them in the ditch next to our house. Totally, totally disgusting. Save yourself a ton of money and get yourself a $2.99 Mrs. Smith's pie from the grocery store and a pumpkin pie from Costco. A fraction of the price and at least they're edible! read more

We have lived in the area for 7 years now and Ashley Farms has been staple since day 1. Every single thing we've ever had from here is wonderful. We purchase their pies often, for any occasion. The Apple Brown Betty is our favorite. But the real show stopper is the Apple cider donuts. They are truly the best I've ever had (And I'm a self-proclaimed donut connoisseur) and they are available ALL YEAR ROUND!! This is a great small farm stand. They have a few animals so if you have kids, they will enjoy looking at them. At the end of the summer, their corn is my favorite in the area. All of the produce is great and fresh. You can fill your propane tank here. I have never bought a turkey or any meat here. I mainly go for propane and corn. Their pies are great tasting also. In the fall, you can buy apple cider. read more

Bought my thanksgiving turkey from these guys. High school aged kids working there, but went out of their way to find me the right sized turkey in what I imagine was a sea of turkeys. I appreciated their help. The shop itself is small, but with a lot of hidden gems. Jams, syrup, dressing. I got some hotdogs that were amazing, but for 10$ I got 2 chicken breasts that were just ok. They also had fresh veggies and homemade baked goods. Got some apple cider that was 100% the best I've had this year. I'll go back again next year for my turkey. read more

Big fan of the produce grown and sold here, obviously the turkey products are outstanding. The newest addition is fresh baked bread on premise. Outstanding! We had thirty people at a party over the weekend and we used their fresh baked rolls for pulled pork, chicken etc. Huge hit. We used to go to Ashley Farms all the time for ice cream, turkeys, pies etc. The food is very fantastic! However, we will not be going back because we were recently treated horribly by one fo the employees. She was an older lady and was very ignorant and nasty to us. We purchased some ice cream for the children and then they were looking at the goats and I was under the shade with my 3 month old. She started talking about my family and myself not realizing I was still under the shade. Once she realized I was there she seemed embarrased but it was too late. The damage was done. The children I was with are my nephews and neices, some of them are darker skin toned and we believe part of her attitude is because she is a racist. I would not recommend going to Ashley Farms if you want to be disrespected and treated horribly. I am hoping the old lady gets fired but I doubt she will. read more
