I called Alan. Alan called moments after I called which I was thankful for. He told me what things I needed to worry about and what to address on the phone. He spent some time speaking with me. He told me the things he thought needed to be addressed, and told me he didn't think he needed to come out and wanted to save me money if I could do it myself, which I could. It is not very often that I speak with someone who is willing to help and is not just interested in making a buck. I have other older family members who are not as computer savvy as myself, they we in the room when I was speaking with Alan. FALSE ADVERTISING AND BROKE MY PC CASE!…read more Website specifically says "FREE DIAGNOSTICS" and "no fix no fee". Yet AFTER I dropped my PC off the owner tried to claim I owed $60 after he gave me a receipt that said total $0. No shame. He even told me over yelp "bring it in for free diagnostics". Not only that, he broke my PC case because he couldn't figure out he had to press a latch to open it and probably just ripped it out and tried to hide it with screws and didn't tell me. And now it doesn't stay closed anymore. And also he took out my GPU and didn't bother screwing it back in place when he was done, just left it dangling in there. Stay away from these clowns.

I was having trouble re-installing Office 365 (specifically Outlook) on my new PC laptop. All the…read moreother products installed seamlessly. Despite numerous attempts (and diagnosis time/effort), Outlook just refused to connect up with my email server (Google). I used Yelp, rather than the 800 number (which reportedly is slow in responding). Well a Yelp inquiry wasn't much faster as I didn't get a response for a day and one half. The good news is that Ken got back to me and things went well after that. We set up a remote access day and time. The remote access works really well and he was able to figure out a couple of details that were blocking the connection (cached incorrect credentials, Google Access issue, Registry issue and 7 unneeded and worthless .OST files). He even suggested a better virus protection software product along with improved Ad Blocker software. I am very pleased with the knowledge and support of Ken. They charge for a minimum of one hour and he had me working in 40 minutes. He told me that if I have another issue, I can use the remaining 20 minutes of help.

I had another desktop that was my husband's and it died and had what was on there put on my laptop. I asked Kevin if he could find an old desktop and he said he makes them. I bought it for $300.00 and when I got home, it would not work. He said he forgot to give me the cord and said the would come out to my house and deliver the cord and make sure it desk top was working. He charged me $150.00 to deliver the cord. Several weeks later, the computer he made had a virus. I called him and he said to bring it in. He fixed it quickly and never told me why the desktop had a virus and just charged me $60.00 and sent me home. About a month later, the desktop he made had a second virus. I checked around with another tech company, and they said I got scammed. That computer sits in my closet because I am afraid to turn it on. Kevin was so angry on the phone and was yelling at me saying that it was my fault for the virus. I have had many computers over the years and never had a virus and when I told Kevin this, his comment was, "you were lucky". I am still trying to get my money back and he can have that infected desktop he sold me. Don't trust him. I think there are too many computer repair shops now open and he has a lot of competition.
