The photos don't do this place justice! Super clean & cute little patio to sit. Got the chicken burrito and hubby got California burrito with cookies & cream shake. All of it delicious & fresh, not greasy AT ALL. Burritos are massive. Friendly service & ready quick. Perfect stop up the 101!

It's a Mexican market with a kitchen in the back that serves amazing food. We tried the breakfast burritos, birria quesadillas, green chilaquiles, and albondigas. Everything was absolutely delicious! The owner was super friendly and helpful, and the menu has so many great options that it was honestly hard to decide what to get. The market itself is also really fun to browse. They have a ton of items and snacks to choose from. We'll definitely be back again and again. So happy to support a local small business like this one!

Little shop that's cool I guess but so expensive def not a hole in the wall shop. Potato tacos and beans and rice were pretty good, but like not 20$ good.

We always make a stop here when driving through the area for some fish and shrimp tacos! The flavors are amazing! They do a double tortilla and fill it up with shrimp or fish! The cabbage and pico de gallo with crema (?) are so delicious. I love adding their green salsa for heat and flavor. They are so filling and so delirious. The service is good! You walk up and order and you sit down and they bring you the food or call you up if it's to go. It's small seating and they're usually busy. It's a casual sit down spot in a market. Definitely worth checking out!

This place gets a 5! Because I was walking around for 2 miles to find something opened and I walked in a circle and found this place. Great Tacos!

I stopped here for a breakfast burrito and ordered the chorizo burrito, it was a decent size and pretty good. Just potatoes, cheese and chorizo but was in the mood for chorizo and I'd say they made it well. What I liked most was their salsa, the orange one. Not the darker red or green one but the orange colored one, was excellent! Loved it. Cool little Mexican market. I'd definitely stop by again. I know the photos that I took aren't that great but thought I'd share anyway.

2 Al pastor tacos to go. Amazing!

My wife and I were in Carpinteria and we saw this Mexican grocery that had also served food, we decided to try it out. You enter and you see big pots cooking over open flames and people in the back feverishly creating food for what seemed like locals after getting off work and getting some grub and selecting a beer from the cooler. I ordered the al pastor tacos to go from the super nice guy running the register, my only complaint is that it took a little longer than I anticipated, but the wait was worth it. I got two cups for the salsa bar and I got my order and walked it home for about the 1/2 mile walk. The picture isn't the best, because my bag tilted a little on the way, but you can see how much meat they give you, they definitely don't skimp. The meat is seared and spiced perfectly and the tortillas were perfect. I zapped it in the microwave for 30 seconds, just to make sure it didn't cool down on the walk home in this lovely little beach town. Both of the salsas were tasty, but I liked the red one a little more. I had an IPA to go with them and they were a perfect two taco dinner. Check these guys out!

We visited Carpinteria for the first time as a little summer escape from the heat in Simi Valley,…read moreand after arriving hungry, we came across this place. What a great find! The restaurant was busy, with tables pretty much full both inside and outside, but luckily we were able to get seated without a wait. I ordered the fish tacos, my son had the linguini pomodoro, and my wife ordered the cioppino. Everything was delicious. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the fish in the cioppino was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The broth was rich and savory--maybe a little on the salty side, but we still really enjoyed it. The service was another highlight. Everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming, and you could tell the staff was working hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. I also really liked how diverse the menu is. There are plenty of choices for different tastes, whether you're in the mood for seafood, pasta, tacos, or something else. Overall, this was an awesome first experience and a great discovery during our trip to Carpinteria. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town, and we're looking forward to trying more dishes from the menu!

Oysters were a little small for my liking and only 6 wasn't a lot - def get more! Th e halibut special was good but it was a little dry if I'm being honest. It's the salmon that was the standout. Really well cooked and super delicious. Cute atmosphere especially if you can get a booth imo!
