I've totally ignored my backyard fence. I'm from Las Vegas where everyone has cider block cement walls that you never have to take care of, so a wood fence is new to me. Turns out you are supposed to stain them every so often to keep them in shape. The more you know! -My fence was looking rough. The stain was fading and was looking quite ugly. The sprinklers had also left water fading along the sides in weird patterns from their spray. I found out about Hasfurter's Painting through the grapevine and asked if they took care of fences too. Great news, they do! -Jason came out to check out the fence and recommended we do a solid body stain with a sealer to protect the fence. He gave us a quote and was helpful with our questions. He was not pushy at all and very matter of fact, which I really appreciate. We booked him for his next opening in his schedule. -Jason and his team showed up early and got to work right away on the scheduled day. This was an outdoor job in my backyard. They did a great job and there was no paint splashes or anything on the grass, backyard stuff, or by the house. -My fence looks brand new and fantastic. In fact, I think it looks even better than when we moved in. I'm super happy with how it turned out. Fantastic job all the way around. Moral of the story, Hasfurter's Painting does a great job, gives fair quotes, and sticks to the quoted price. Win, win, win in my book!

We'd been unhappy with the builder paint ever since we moved into our house in 2019. This year, one…read moregoal was to repaint the interior of the house. We requested quotes from several painters, including Fresh Coat of Round Rock. Erick was by far the most responsive vendor we contacted. While not the least expensive quote we received, he was not far off that mark, and his responsiveness (and breakfast tacos) sealed the deal for us. Scheduling was easy, and he was very clear (and accurate) about what to expect during painting. The crew was polite, respectful of our house, and most importantly, skilled. We were still living and working in the house while they were painting, and their strategy about how to paint the house and communication about each days goals made that far easier than expected. The final work looks fantastic - we had several accent walls, and two rooms with different colors completely from the rest of the house. All of that was handled correctly, and resulted in a house that looks and feels like home. I would hire Erick and Fresh Coat of Round Rock again!

Having said that, I'm still left scratching my head on the siding repair over our garage. The Hardie plank panels with the wood grain texturing on one small section runs horizontal, while the rest are vertical. I had informed Zach and crew of several large remnants of the same panel available to the crew sitting in my garage. I admit I didn't even notice for a whole week after they finished, but wish I had seen it before they got too far along. It's a relatively minor complaint which is why I'm still leaving a five star rating. I still recommend Tex Painting!

I hired NXT Construction to remodel my duplex in Copperas Cove, and the entire experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. From the beginning, I was told certain items were included in the project, but later almost everything became a "change order" or an upcharge. They're cheap. They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor. Save your money.

We needed a complete over-haul incorporating the kitchen with the dining room. They reconfigured walls, moved the sink, installed a new window and new door. They replaced the cabinets and installed a beautiful quartz countertop and backsplash. We ended up having them resurface and paint the living room walls since the kitchen walls looked so good (we went from textured to flat). There were carpenters, plumbers, electricians, an amazing sheetrock team and other specialists that helped with everything. All of the professionals that did work, did everything according to code and I'm happy with the end result and quality of work inside and out. Communication throughout the entire process was always constant (we had a text thread going that we could reply to anytime). They planned out the order of work and explained everything I wanted to know more about. They helped refine our design and were open to suggestions to help me make better decisions and get the results I wanted. I'm happy with how everything turned out and I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone looking to update their house.

One quoted us more and couldn't come out for a few weeks which left us with Robert from Gold Seal. He returned my call within hours of my original message and was very communicative over the phone. We wanted to remove wallpaper from several rooms and he quoted me (over the phone) the highest price if it turned out to be a difficult job. I don't know about everyone else, but give me worst-case-scenario when it comes to money. Once he arrived the job turned out to be much simpler. He suggested painting the ceiling (after all, we were saving money on the wallpaper removal), which ended up making a wonderful difference. He also works well under pressure. We had 5 days to get the entire job done before move-in and he met the deadline, even though it involved him staying late some nights and arriving really early the morning of the move. We had an issue with the ceiling paint overflowing onto our white walls we didn't intend on painting - but he matched and touched up the wall paint (at no extra cost) and you can hardly tell. Overall he was professional, friendly, COMMUNICATIVE (a problem area we ran into with other painters) and did a great job. We will definitely be calling him when we're ready to paint again!
