Scheduling was easy, and he was very clear (and accurate) about what to expect during painting. The crew was polite, respectful of our house, and most importantly, skilled. We were still living and working in the house while they were painting, and their strategy about how to paint the house and communication about each days goals made that far easier than expected. The final work looks fantastic - we had several accent walls, and two rooms with different colors completely from the rest of the house. All of that was handled correctly, and resulted in a house that looks and feels like home. I would hire Erick and Fresh Coat of Round Rock again!

They used left over materials for my condo renovation. Even simple requests suddenly became "too expensive," which made the process feel misleading and inconsistent. The quality of the work does not reflect the money I paid. The job was definitely rushed, many important details were left incomplete, and the results did not match what was promised. Concerns I raised--such as mold issues and specific finish requests like quartz countertops--were dismissed or avoided, and nothing was handled with the level of professionalism I expected. To make matters worse, one of my front screen doors went missing during the project and was never addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel the work performed did not justify the cost, their communication was unreliable, and their business practices lacked integrity. I strongly encourage others to choose a different contractor. One quoted us more and couldn't come out for a few weeks which left us with Robert from Gold Seal. He returned my call within hours of my original message and was very communicative over the phone. We wanted to remove wallpaper from several rooms and he quoted me (over the phone) the highest price if it turned out to be a difficult job. I don't know about everyone else, but give me worst-case-scenario when it comes to money. Once he arrived the job turned out to be much simpler. He suggested painting the ceiling (after all, we were saving money on the wallpaper removal), which ended up making a wonderful difference. He also works well under pressure. We had 5 days to get the entire job done before move-in and he met the deadline, even though it involved him staying late some nights and arriving really early the morning of the move. We had an issue with the ceiling paint overflowing onto our white walls we didn't intend on painting - but he matched and touched up the wall paint (at no extra cost) and you can hardly tell. Overall he was professional, friendly, COMMUNICATIVE (a problem area we ran into with other painters) and did a great job. We will definitely be calling him when we're ready to paint again!
