We visited Melissa in her store and in just a few minutes she was able to look at a picture of our new kitchen island and make recommendations on what to order. She reviewed the pictures of the island, ceiling heights, knobs and fixture colors and clearly made the best suggestions on the lights to order. She even reviewed the different finishes the lights came in and perfectly match the metal color of the pendent light and size of the fixture that looked the best in our new kitchen. Her services provided in our selection process could not be achieved by just going on line and placing an order. We visited the store and must say it was an incredible experience working with Melissa. The ability to get help from Melissa, "Shop Local" and receive the lights in three days made for an incredible shopping experience at Be The Light Designs.

Where to begin? From start to finish, my experience with Revco was nothing less than exceptional…read more I saw some exterior lanterns on Houzz and instantly fell in love. After contacting the project's designer to find out the manufacturer, I immediately went to work trying to source them. I found out that the only place anywhere near my home that might have them was Revco. I called Revco immediately and was informed me that while they did not have the lights I wanted on display in their showroom they did have a catalog I could look at and that there would be no problem ordering them for me. I went to visit their showroom in Miller Place and was greeted by Cheryl who went over every last detail with me and even looked at my online photos to make sure the light fixtures I wanted were the exact ones, size/color, she was quoting for me. She said she would be in touch with the manufacturer and email me a quote within the week. I received an email the next day! I ended up locating the fixtures on the Internet as well, on Wayfair, for 40% more than Revco quoted me. Of course, I purchased them from Revco. I was told they would be delivered on or about April 30th. I received a phone call on the 12th, they were in almost three weeks early! Yippee!!! Because of the holiday, I didn't have the opportunity to open the boxes until today. I am overjoyed. They are exactly what I wanted. I will be returning to Revco VERY SOON to make another purchase. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!

We actually found a "floor model" chandelier hanging up and wanted that one. After a lot of haggling about the price, we both agreed, and made the purchase. He got a ladder and took down light and packaged it up real nice for us. I guess they used to operate across the street, but closed that store, and moved to the other side the street. They have a great selection of indoor, outdoor, chandeliers, bathroom, kitchen, etc. You really need to stop in to appreciate the fixtures in person. Will be back.

I worked with Jordan from SHE lighting on the ordering/purchase and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was incredibly responsive and offered up great suggestions and solid tips in considering light sizes, styles, colors, etc. We drove over yesterday to pick up our lights and the store had great COVID precautions in place (which we really appreciated). It was totally worth the effort to order from SHE given how wonderful our experience was - thanks, in large part, to Jordan.

She made the process so easy with her HONEST opinions. She tells it like it is. If she did not like a light we selected, she would tell us straight up. Or when it came time that I liked one light and my fiancé liked another... she would explain which one worked better. Or if neither worked, she'd quickly pivot to a 3rd option that usually worked much better with the flow of our house and we both liked more than either of our selections. With Diane's expertise, great recommendations, and honest opinions on each light, we were able to select every light in our house in 2 hours (we were looking for 2 weeks before coming here). It was very refreshing having a salesperson with such brutally honest feedback. By the end, we all agreed on every single light and there is not a single regret or second thought. Save yourself some time and go to J&K first.
