Our first kitchen set was from them and I was short two chairs from the set I bought for a moving in party. David and his Dad went upstate to get me the two chairs so I would have them in time. I remember saying wow what great and I have never for got what they did for me. That was 22 years ago. My second set I bought from them had chairs and after a few years needed to be redone and David advised us to restuff the chairs and recover them. They came back looking like brand new. Was very happy. Unfortunately just under 2 years the leather on the seats started to crack and I called David and he said to bring in the chair. After seeing the chair David honored redoing them and recommended restuffing them so they would come out right. Since we had a problem as always price wise he did right by us and backed his product and they came out beautiful. I believe most other stores would not of helped us after that time period and turned us away. I would highly recommend David and Dinette and Lighting to anyone. They stand for the word customer service. They also have beautiful furniture, fixtures and Tables. David is kind, honest and caring and there work is beautiful. You would not be disappointed at all. Purchased a new GE stackable laundry unit which they delivered. When the plumber hooked up the…read moredryer, it ran but wouldn't heat. So I called Dunrite and was told they could either give me a new one or just have someone come and look at it - it probably wasn't a big problem. So I agreed to have someone look at it. They us Bodewell appliance services so they came and ordered 3 parts which were delivered to the house. when they came back to actually fix the dryer - they said they didn't need the parts - it was just a loose connection. At this point, I contacted Dunrite and said I just wanted a new unit. HOWEVER THEY FAILED TO MENTION TO ME DURING OUR ORIGINAL CONVERSATION THAT ONCE SERVICE COMES, DUNRITE CAN'T REPLACE THE UNIT. They are no longer involved - how unfortunate - they assured me that they would love to help me - however their hands are tied because now I was dealing with Bodewell. Dunrite was no longer responsible for the product they sold to me. This would have been so much easier if they had told me that when I was deciding whether to have it replaced or just try fixing it. Very disappointed and I won't be returning to the store for anything.

My POS Samsung Refrigerator (purchased from Best Buy) crapped out for the second time and yet again…read morejust before Fourth of July weekend. Last time it was a five week saga to get it fixed so this time my wife said call Dun Rite for a new one because all her friends swear by them. Over the phone salesman Lon Shomer gave me some options and recommended a couple of manufacturers. I came in and settled on Kitchenaid DW because Lon recommended it and it matches our dishwasher (with which my POS Samsung Refrigerator was purchased but also crapped out before five year warranty expired. Insurance company's repair guys came three times and never fixed the DW and pronounced it unfixable. I asked insurer to replace but they refused saying it was now past warranty expiration although the problem occurred before expiration and was never fixed! I learned that many repair guys will not even make a repair call on Samsung appliances. TVs and cell phones good, kitchen and laundry, fuhgataboutit! Anyway, Lon Shomer was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend. Dun Rite's delivery guys were fantastic- came when they were supposed to, carted the fridge up some steps, removed and replaced door hardware to get the 36 inch wide fridge thru, connected the ice maker water line, set up the shelves, cleaned up afterwards and hauled the old fridge to the dump. They worked fast and left no scars! I asked if they sold them to repair guys and they said ... wait for this..."not Samsung".

When they called to tell me it was ready, the owner gave me an attitude and said he didn't even know why his technician took it in. He acted like it was somehow my fault and then told me to "get this thing out of here ASAP," which I did not appreciate. When I picked it up the next day, I was charged for an oil change and a spark plug that I never approved. They charged me $25 for a spark plug, even though I had just bought one the day before and planned to install it myself. The repair had nothing to do with the engine, so I don't understand why those services were performed without asking me first. I paid the bill and left because I didn't want to argue. After getting home, I noticed a bolt was completely stripped. I called them, and they told me to bring it back. When I returned, the owner looked at it with me, but then the technician who worked on it came out with an attitude and claimed the bolt was already stripped. I know it wasn't. In my opinion, if a bolt gets stripped during a repair, it should be replaced rather than left that way. What really bothered me is that the repair bill was over $400, yet they couldn't be bothered to replace a simple stripped bolt. They had no problem charging me for services I never asked for, but apparently replacing a damaged bolt was too much to do. At that point, I was done dealing with the situation and started to leave. The technician followed me, yelling and asking what my problem was. I told him I didn't appreciate his attitude, and he continued being argumentative. It was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after I got home the second time, the machine would not start at all. Overall, I had a very poor experience due to the lack of communication, unauthorized charges, poor workmanship, and unprofessional customer service. I would not recommend this shop.
