They were probably warned after we left that we were evil cis, because subsequent visits were completely opposite. Or does it say more about society (or our area), that you can't just be nice to random people without them thinking the worst? So after giving them many chances, we've decided no more. They don't do anything positive for the community as a whole, just "their" community. This area deserves a better comic book shop and definitely don't bring your kids in for Pokemon cards.

He stated that it was the second busiest day of the year due to the opening of the farmers market and that he didn't know how much we could get done. I sent my wife over to begin talking about her vision. The whole time, she felt as though she was an inconvenience. His overall tone, with me and with my wife, was that he was annoyed that we were bothering him. We proceeded but we left feeling rushed and unappreciated as customers. We ended up canceling, went to Sam Dial for the same process, and had a great experience there. I do not recommend this place. They may be for you, but they were not, and are not, for us.

I love this store. It's been a foundational store in downtown Moscow for decades. The variety of…read morerocks and interesting stuff is mesmerizing and I like to look at everything. The staff is friendly and the head jeweler has gone above an beyond for me with several projects (ring, bracelet) -- his craftsmanship is superb. He's funny and bright, too, but often has a lot to get done because people know his work is great so sometimes you have to be patient, especially when it's a big downtown event day and the store is packed.
