We looked around and read many reviews. We decided to contact Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. They did not answer the phone right away but I received a call very quickly. I explained the situation and how we have some allergies, and they took the time to listen and go over all the details. They then recommended Steve who is the go-to guy when it comes to allergies as well as other things related. We set up an appointment with Steve, and Steve arrived early. He set up his equipment and was very mindful about making a mess as well as getting things dirty and wet. He took his time to explain as well as show me what was going on and answer all my questions. Because of allergies Steve took his time and made sure each vent was cleaned as best as possible. The things I saw in the ductwork were scary, which had built up over the years of this property. After he was done, we swapped the air filter and within 20 minutes of running, I could smell the difference in the air. The air felt lighter and did not have a heavy feel. Also, my air purifiers were not reading off the charts anymore. Steve did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him as well as Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. I ended up getting their Ultimate cleaning or whatever the highest one was, and compared to other places, it was cheap. The price you pay for what you get is a bargain. It ended up being $541.00 with tax and worth every penny.

BEWARE: Independent contractors are used by this company who carry their own insurance. I had an…read moreunfortunate situation where a furnace drain hose was bumped out of place by one of this company's independent contractors causing a leak in my ceiling weeks before my house was to close to a new owner. My claim was declined. The insurance company required unrealistic things like a photo of the space prior to incident showing the hose in place. Who takes pictures of their furnace? This resulted in a costly last-minute repair to my ceiling. Essentially this means that you are at the mercy of a potential crappy insurance policy carried by the contractor and that the owner takes no personal responsibility for potential damage.

I had no idea how bad my vents were until they showed me. I was shocked and a little disgusted at how dirty they were. I have been suffering with allergies for years and they seemed to improve over the last week. My wife and I have noticed a lot less dust throughout the house as well. He has always been upfront about his price (very reasonable compared to big advertisement companies). Regarding the work itself, he is very professional, detailed and thorough! The scheduling process with him has always been a breeze. We have used his services twice now and both the times we were pleased with the results and recommend his services to all of our friends and family.

I had initially just wanted the dryer ducts cleaned, but after hearing that they were running a special on the whole house venting and free dryer duct cleaning for $130. Tom came out a couple of days later and was even early. He and his son were very professional and friendly. I had a great experience with Klein Carpet Cleaning. What really impressed me was how thorough they…read morewere--not just in the cleaning, but in explaining exactly what was going on with the stains in the carpet. They took the time to break down how pet stains actually work, explaining how urine and other organic stains can soak through the carpet fibers into the padding and sometimes even the subfloor. Instead of just masking the smell or surface stain like many companies do, they walked me through the proper process required to truly remove it--treating the area with the right solutions, allowing time for the treatment to break down the contaminants, and then extracting everything from deep in the carpet. They also explained the difference between stains that can be fully removed versus ones that may have permanently altered the carpet fibers, which I appreciated because it was honest and educational rather than a sales pitch. The level of transparency and care they showed made it clear they genuinely want to fix the problem, not just make it look better for a few days. If you want someone who understands stains at a technical level and actually takes the time to do the job right, I highly recommend Klein Carpet Cleaning. Great service, great results, and people who truly care about helping their customers.

Overall, I have NEVER dealt with a more knowledgeable person in pretty much any trade I've ever hired! Great communication, show up when they say they will show up, thorough, and follow through with a customized cleaning plan like you won't get with anyone else. After seeing the extent of the pet damage, he recommended replacing all the carpet, not cleaning it, because the damage was too extensive to be able to remove long-term pet odors from the existing carpet (and he explained why). Then, after bidding himself out of making any money on the job, he STILL spend a significant amount of time on the phone with me talking about what he saw, why it's an issue (how pet odors work and what you need to do to TRULY get rid of them, which I had no idea!), the importance of fixing it before selling it, etc. He was SOOOO honest, knowledgeable, and helpful, saving me from a lot of potential trouble later. He was so amazing, I tried really hard to pay him for his time and expertise, but he wouldn't even take any money for his invaluable advise. I could tell instantly that this is a guy who is passionate about his work and doing right by his customers. Matt is one of the few Certified Master Textile Cleaners who actually works in the field, and it is clear how passionate he is about his craft. He knows about EVERYTHING from cleaning carpets and furniture to household chemical products. He was FASCINATING and I learned so much. I have never come across someone like Matt, the level of honesty and depth of knowledge. He was so great, I am trying to hire him to consult on the flooring in my own house in another state because I have NEVER had a carpet company like him. He truly looks at each job individually, comes up with a custom plan for your situation including the products to use, how to clean, etc. He also puts an emphasis on using non-toxic products, which I LOVE. You will be in the BEST hands using Matt and Klein Carpet Cleaning.
