I had a great experience with Klein Carpet Cleaning. What really impressed me was how thorough they were--not just in the cleaning, but in explaining exactly what was going on with the stains in the carpet. They took the time to break down how pet stains actually work, explaining how urine and other organic stains can soak through the carpet fibers into the padding and sometimes even the subfloor. Instead of just masking the smell or surface stain like many companies do, they walked me through the proper process required to truly remove it--treating the area with the right solutions, allowing time for the treatment to break down the contaminants, and then extracting everything from deep in the carpet. They also explained the difference between stains that can be fully removed versus ones that may have permanently altered the carpet fibers, which I appreciated because it was honest and educational rather than a sales pitch. The level of transparency and care they showed made it clear they genuinely want to fix the problem, not just make it look better for a few days. If you want someone who understands stains at a technical level and actually takes the time to do the job right, I highly recommend Klein Carpet Cleaning. Great service, great results, and people who truly care about helping their customers. read more

Prepping a house for sale of an aunt who recently passed away. Matt offered to go by with his trusty black light and give me an estimate, including if the carpet could be cleaned or should be replaced. Overall, I have NEVER dealt with a more knowledgeable person in pretty much any trade I've ever hired! Great communication, show up when they say they will show up, thorough, and follow through with a customized cleaning plan like you won't get with anyone else. After seeing the extent of the pet damage, he recommended replacing all the carpet, not cleaning it, because the damage was too extensive to be able to remove long-term pet odors from the existing carpet (and he explained why). Then, after bidding himself out of making any money on the job, he STILL spend a significant amount of time on the phone with me talking about what he saw, why it's an issue (how pet odors work and what you need to do to TRULY get rid of them, which I had no idea!), the importance of fixing it before selling it, etc. He was SOOOO honest, knowledgeable, and helpful, saving me from a lot of potential trouble later. He was so amazing, I tried really hard to pay him for his time and expertise, but he wouldn't even take any money for his invaluable advise. I could tell instantly that this is a guy who is passionate about his work and doing right by his customers. Matt is one of the few Certified Master Textile Cleaners who actually works in the field, and it is clear how passionate he is about his craft. He knows about EVERYTHING from cleaning carpets and furniture to household chemical products. He was FASCINATING and I learned so much. I have never come across someone like Matt, the level of honesty and depth of knowledge. He was so great, I am trying to hire him to consult on the flooring in my own house in another state because I have NEVER had a carpet company like him. He truly looks at each job individually, comes up with a custom plan for your situation including the products to use, how to clean, etc. He also puts an emphasis on using non-toxic products, which I LOVE. You will be in the BEST hands using Matt and Klein Carpet Cleaning. read more

Matt is absolutely incredible. Our dog was spayed and due to complications with her surgery, she ended up bleeding on our carpet. We had company from out of town coming in so I reached out to Matt and he made availability in his schedule to come the NEXT DAY after being called. His knowledge of the profession is absolutely incredible. Our carpet looks amazing. I will never call another carpet cleaner in the twin cities. read more

There are carpet cleaning services, and then there is Matt Klein's business. His professionalism, expertise and service orientation are unmatched. My nice off-white carpets suffer from daily exposure to puppy and kids. Matt did an extraordinary job bringing them back to near-new condition. Not only does he know how to treat every carpet stain in the book, he clearly enjoys his job and the science behind it. He takes great pride in his work and went beyond the call of duty when I had aftercare questions. Very good value for the quality of work. I will only call Matt for my future carpet cleaning needs. read more

Matt is an expert! About 3 weeks ago we had Matt clean our carpets for the first time. The carpet looked great when they were done...better then any carpet cleaner had done in the past. Then we needed to return because we had new stains....blood stains ( from a fall), an orange pop stain other various stains. Wow....stains gone and carpet (white) looks terrific. They are extremely careful with the furniture and laying tarps down on our wood floors. They are like scientists explaining why they are using the products they apply to the stains. We highly recommend Klein Carpet Cleaners and would only use them in the future. We give them 10 Stars! read more

The lady and I bought a house a few years ago. A house with white carpets. We intended to get these carpets cleaned at least once a year, but life goes by fast. So here we are three years later, with a young child, a puppy, two pukey cats and zero carpet cleanings. I messaged Klein on yelp and liked what they had to say. Very reasonable price estimate and they were able to work around my weird schedule. So the day comes and I've got to admit that I had low expectations for saving this carpet. Well my expectations were absolutely demolished! I am amazed at the work these guys did! The carpet looks brand new and they stuck to the blind estimate even after all the extra work that they had to put in. Great guys. Great work. Will definitely be using again (sooner than three years)! read more

I just wanted to comment on the quickness and kindness of Matthew's response to my query. Unfortunately I won't be able to use their services for my project, but he was so quick and efficient with his response and had a referral for another company that could help me out. Really stand-up dude. So I recommend this company just based off the decent nature of the staff and helpfulness to someone they have nothing to gain from. That's real integrity! Thank you! read more

Remarkable. Matt came out, used a black light that highlighted old pet stains from my (sadly gone) cat, suggested the option of replacing the carpet, and gave me a couple of suggestions of carpet installers. He refused to accept any payment for his time and professional opinion (said that this was covered by their guarantee of a free estimate). This is a true professional. I highly recommend read more

The person started by parking in front of the garages so no residents could get in or out. When asked to move his truck he became extremely verbally abusive, but managed to move out of the no parking area after about 45 minutes. The work he did after that reflected his poor mood. He quickly clened the remaining carpet, missing large areas, and left most of the floor soaking wet. He then threw the small furniture back in the room and dragged the larger peices just inside the door and left them there. End result: one person late for work, one broken end table, two hours spent trying to mop up water and replace furniture, and "freshly cleaned" carpet that's starting to smell like mildew. read more
