My definition of a trustworthy mechanic is 'a mechanic my wife can go to (without me present) and be treated with dignity and respect without the fear of being overcharged.' We currently have a trustworthy mechanic shop about 20 miles from our house but being that we are getting older (and statistically the husband dies before his wife) it would be nice for my wife to know she has a trustworthy mechanic closer to home. Reverse Turn Automotive is located 2 miles from our house. My wife recently told me that her a/c wasn't cooling. I phoned Reverse Turn Automotive this morning, spoke with and then met with the owner. I explained the situation. The shop owner personally looked under the hood and showed me the problem was a spliced wire (possibly caused by a mouse). I brought my 2020 accord in for an oil change and tire rotation. I typically go to the dealership in Ft. Worth but I wanted to see if I could get the same level of service locally. I was surprised to see they had a Honda master tech working there. I asked to see the oil and filter they used and both were high quality, quite unlike the cheap cardboard filters most oil change stations use. The price I was charged for service was less than half what the dealership charges. I was so impressed that I asked for a quote on a new set of tires. I have 82K miles on my car so I knew I was getting close to needing new tires. The price I received was the same or lower than the price quote at Sam's or discount tire. After measuring my tread depth they recommended I wait. What new business passes up a sale? No pressure or attempt to sell me unnecessary parts or service. Low prices, fast service, quality parts and integrity. All of this in Godley Texas! I will not be back to the dealership for service anytime soon. read more

Took my 2016 in for tire repair and inspection. I was busy and not paying attention to the time and called to see how late they were open. This was at 5:00 pm. Owner so very nice, no problem, bring it in. I took it in and was very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the owner and the guy that worked on my car.
