Very friendly, knowledgable service. I own a collision repair shop in Keene Tx. And we regularly use these guys for all of our ADAS calibrations and any A/C charging with the 1234yf , as we do not have the equipment for those services. Always fast, friendly & honest service at a reasonable price point. Not sure what more you could ask for in an automotive shop. As far as service requested goes, when you go to a mechanic requesting a particular service you think it needs because your friends brother said so, that is asking for trouble most times. They are there to help, let them diagnose problems, and recommend needed services , if you expect them to stand behind the repairs. read more

I took my car in for a Diagnostic Scan because error code PO420 was showing & car running very rough. Told them I believed it was 02 sensor and to please check it. The next day I called since I hadn't heard from them. Was told all codes had been cleared and the $125.00 scan could not be done but tech believed it was catalytic converter, that he drove my car around. Also that he lowering the converter & looked inside of it & it was all broken up. (I thought these were welded on). Was quoted $2400 dollars to replace. That was too pricey for me. Immediately he lowered it to $1900. Still to high. I picked my car up learning I owed $125.00 for a scan that wasn't done ! I took car down the street and had converter replaced for $297. Wow what a price difference ! Well service like came right back on. It wasn't the catalytic. I bet the 02 sensor was never checked. I feel I was ripped off. Plus my mileage was the same, no one drove my car as I was told. I do not like being lied to either ! read more

Through my roadside service they contacted Rick's Automotive to assist me with my dead battery. Mark was prompt getting to me and getting my car started however he advised me to get it checked out before I turned it off, it might not start again. I am a senior citizen and was late for an appointment to have blood work done. Rick's didn't have the battery for my car but they could order it and have it later today. They took me to my appointment and brought me home. They will come and get me when my battery is in. Now that is just good customer service and I couldn't be more grateful. They are the best!!! I would give more stars if I could. read more

The response from the owner in regards to my review is a pretty good indication of my experience. I, as the customer, encountered an issue between the Location (Ricks) and someone who has a contract with Ricks. THis is not the customers issue, and Ricks automotive lacked empathy, and washed their hands of responsibility. For me, as the customer, this is a poor experience. His response indicates the same. I will be leaving my feedback the same. The offered solution in the feedback from Rick was not the case. What was left out were details of an hour and a half drive, to meet for an 8 am appointment, to then be told I would receive a call later in the afternoon. There was not an offer to find another location, plus, the next location was in Mineral wells. Again, the responsibility with the issue between Rick and the other company, was placed on the customer. I actually will apply one more star in appreciation for the manager responding. He seems to respond to every post which is respectable. I would certainly encourage more empathy and understanding of customer issues to improve in the future. read more

My daughter's car developed a metal on metal sound while in Cleburne yesterday. I had to drive down from Dallas to switch cars for her to get back to Dallas for work. I took her car into Rick's Automative on Main. They were quickly able to tell me that a bolt had fallen out of the brake assembly. After a quick search, they found the bolt in their spare part bin. (and only charged me for labor) Nothing is worse than being far from home trying to get your car fixed. Charged $430 for $100 ac mixer lots of labor but did give 3 year 36,000 warranty will see if it stays fixed

Ricks wrecker services towed my truck through a classic auto insurance company. His driver who had supposedly been with the company 17 years towed my 1 ton truck on 35s with the repo rig and hit a railroad track doing 59 mph per my GPS in my classic truck almost flipped his truck and did significant damage to my truck. He was towing my truck that had a camper shell backwards with the repo Rig when he hit the railroad track my camper shell flew off and all the belongings in the bed of my truck scattered all over the interstate. When I talk to Rick the owner of the company he immediately begin to blame my truck for the accident. also per his contract with Hagerty insurance my truck should've been on a flatbed and never behind a repo rig. I strongly urge anyone to choose another wrecker service for any of their towing needs. read more

Follow up on engine work. I had a audi mechanic come out to my home and he found the timing was way off. He repaired the timing belt and timing on the engjne and running great. Problem was the timing belt tensioner was left loose. Contacted Ricks took the car up there showed the pictures of the belt and they refunded the amount of the repairs to my vehicle. So they stand by there word if they do something wrong they will make it right. Thanks again. read more

Had the team work on my wife's mini-van. A spark plug change which is a tough job on a Nissan. They did a good job and then had to correct a misfire on one of the cylinders which took some time and a bit more money. Lastly they had to fix a wheel stud. I hadn't planned on all the work but they were fair in their prices and worth the time it took to get an older vehicle running again. Rick- give Josh and your mechanical team a high five. When things are bad your hear about it - but when things are great there is seldom a kind word. You've earned my trust and a new loyal customer! Bravo agents! read more

The driver showed up in 45 minutes Andrew was awesome. However we were told $125 to tow from Burleson to north Fort Worth. After we cancel the roadside assistance, before he loaded car on the truck they told us $165. Not happy!!!! What kind of Crap is this? What kind of business are you running?!! read more

Absolutely worthless service. I contracted them through Avis because I locked my keys in my trunk, Matt unlocks the doors but does absolutely nothing to help me get into my trunk which was the biggest part of the effort. He says that's all he's paid to do and drives off leaving me stranded, no explanation, no solution and $64 poorer. ZERO integrity. Avoid these clowns at all costs!!! read more

Extremely friendly and professional. Our car got a flat on the way home from Dallas to Kempner on a very warm Sunday afternoon; in a car that does not carry a spare. After a very frustrating hour spent on the phone with our insurance company trying to determine where our car could get towed to get a replacement tire, the tow truck driver from Rick's Automotive was able to make a suggestion of somewhwere that was both open on a Sunday and carried the low profile tires for our car. When the driver, Miguel Gutierrez, showed up we were even more impressed by the professional and courteous service he offered. He insisted my husband and I wait in the air-conditioned cab of the tow truck while he loaded our car. He was pleasant on the 20 mile drive to NTB in Burleson and even suggested a good place for lunch while we waited on our car.
