Well, my daughter was out at a youth event for the week in Ft Worth, we are from the Rockwall area. On Thursday night she called and let me know her 2011 Jeep Wrangler was overheating and steam was coming from under the hood. She was able to get it back to where she was staying that week. I drove out the following day and was able to identify that the radiator had cracked. it was about 10:30am on Friday. I called around to several shops and most were willing to do the work, but couldn't get it done until Saturday or maybe even Monday. This was not ideal. All that changed when I called Don Perry's Garage. I was talking to Donny and he said he could probably get it done that day. I told him I was just passing through and he said he'd definitely get it done that day. He said "cmon down and we'll get you fixed up. I'll pick us up some lunch and you can hangout here till it's done." This is 100% true! So I headed on down and spent the afternoon with Donny and Kelly. We ate lunch together and chatted for a few hours. Hanging out there I got a real behind the scenes look at how they run their business. How they communicated with their customers on the phone or in person was all top shelf. The transparency they shared with their customers is like nothing I've seen in this business. If they made a mistake, they owned up to it. If they could get a better price on a part, they would and then would pass the savings on to the customer. I've got to also give a shoutout to their senior tech James. He's been there over 30 years and knows his stuff! There's a reason they have been in business as long as they have! The reality is, I probably will never need their service again. Our paths may never cross again. But if you need a quality, honest, and fair repair shop in the Ft Worth area, look no further, you've found it! Thanks again to Donny, Kelly, James and the team! read more

I took my car in for a misfire cylinder and they fixed it. And how I'm paying for is through payment they're very great. The quality of the service was the best that I could ever ask for. After I got my car two weeks later my light came back on and than went off a week later and than came on after a week that it was off. So that was fun! read more

Don Perry's Garage - The tire pressure is always on all the time - Auto Repair Near Me - Burleson, Texas

I had been getting my vehicle serviced here since spring of 2023, solid folks and service. These past couple of trips I did notice how much more traffic there was and bit of a decline in terms of turnaround, but nothing noteworthy. Here recently, I dropped my car off after work 3/25 and ended up having to pick it back up 4/1 with not so much as a diagnostic being completed. A week to get your car out the shop is fine, but I hadn't even received a quote yet. As I truthfully understand and support being busy, but what I can't get down with is providing dishonest status updates. The fact that I was the one reaching out didn't help the matter either. read more

We were so sad to see Don Perry's move to Burleson... but we will make the drive because they are worth it! Great honest service! We trust them for all our car needs. read more

I love this shop excellent work done on my car friendly staff...just don't take your word on the issue check out your car to get diagnoses

I described my car's issue to Donny and he was able to find the problem and fix it in five minutes. Donny didn't charge me a dime for the repair! Highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for an honest car repair business. read more

They are so honest. Another garage gave us an estimate of $900 because my daughter's brakes squeaked every now and then. They checked it out and found nothing wrong. They have been family owned forever r at least 30 years. read more

Updated from 11/16. Donny, Billy and the whole team at Don Perry Garage have a completely satisfied customer now! It took 4 days to get there, and I think it was equally frustrating for them, but they maintained communication and were very open and honest with me about the problems that were happening and making a plan for solutions. I picked up my car before close up business today and hopefully don't need major repair services for a very long time, but I appreciate the accountability and ownership and integrity of the team here at Don Perry, and I will spread the word! read more

I used Don Perry's Garage for the first time and was very pleased with their service, customer attentiveness, and mostly, their approach to "doing what is necessary" instead of including 12-15 other "suggested" services that more than double the quote price, like most other mechanics that I've used over the years. Their pricing on some substantial repairs was significantly more reasonable than some of the other shops I've taken my vehicles to. My new go-to mechanic! read more

I am a repeat customer of Don Perry's Garage. Today I had another complicated repair job for them. I chose to sit and wait for it. During the day I hear the conversations with nothing but repeat customers - they interact like family with Donny and his incredible team of employees. They took care of me like a queen - fixed my car at a far better price than a dealership. Speaking as a single senior that could very easily be taken advantage of, I was recommended to Don Perry's and I see why from the 1st visit - they know their craft, they prices are very fair, and it is so evident they CARE - something you do not see very often these days. Donny, I salute you and your team, yall are the BEST. read more

This looks s a wonderful neighborhood gem. So convenient. Nice staff and are quick and fairly priced. Do not take your car to the dealership! Keep your money with our neighbors and support small businesses. read more

Our battery died just down the road on our way to drop off my kids at school. Don drove over to us with his battery charger. He even offered us his car to get the kids to school on time! We didn't need to do that since my wife was able to pick us up. Don got us over to the shop and identified that we needed a new alternator. They got us in and out the same day. Great family run shop, trustworthy, helpful and ready to help. We'll definitely be back. read more

Excellent and fairly priced services. Very pleasant, helpful staff. It is a pleasure doing business here.

We have used Don Perry's Garage for years. They are honest, efficient, and will never up-charge for unnecessary work. Don's grandson, Donnie, has taken over the business this past year and continues the long-standing tradition of integrity and reliability. We can't recommend them enough. read more

Whenever I need work on my car done, this is my go-to. They're honest, professional, and trustworthy. Every time I've taken my cars here, service has been quick and exceptional.. As long as I stay living in Fort Worth this garage will always get my business. read more

They are the best. They do pretty much everything but diesel. They consistently treat everyone with utmost courtesy, and make the effort to search around and find best prices on parts, so they can pass savings on to the customer. They have the expertise to get to the bottom of complex issues, and that helps people avoid repairing things that didn't need fixed. That is their business philosophy, and I've seen it in action for thirty years-- I will always take my business here, and I always recommend them to others. read more

My husband was told by another shop that there was nothing wrong with his breaks but they we squeaking. We went to Nextdoor & here on Yelp to find a good shop. Well we think we did. They told him they would get the car done by Saturday but actually got it done before close on Friday. We will for sure be bringing our vehicles back. read more

Outstanding service and value. AC went out on a road trip and only had Saturday to get it fixed before returning in 100-degree weather. Ray got me in at 8:30 AM and the car was returned at 1 PM with AC blowing cold at a very reasonable price. Took their card and will use them again if needed in Fort Worth. read more

Truly honest and amazing people. Don went out of his way to help me out. I highly recommend you go here if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy mechanic! read more

I dont know what happened. I have used don's garage for many repairs and they always provided great service and value. Took a car in for them to diagnose and fix and they just "claimed"' they couldnt fix and then charged 50 dollars to roll up a broken window. Not FIX the window. Just roll it up. I think it must be under new management and personell. read more

I took my car to be looked at. Thought it could be something with the radiator. Was called back and told it was the water pump and $180 to replace. When I informed them they were the same Garage that installed the water pump they said they would take care of it. Recieved a call saying the vehicle was fixed. I was then informed that it was $150 for work on my radiator. I was shocked because they never called and said there was a problem with the radiator just the water pump. They found a new problem to charge me money since they were fixing something for free. Go somewhere else! read more

Honest, friendly, reasonably priced. Real integrity. Expert mechanic.

This shop may do good work but if you have a diesel car or truck they will not work on it!! Fortunately they recommended Southside Automotive for diesel repairs and they did a great job. read more

Went twice to get tune up. Brought it in at 7:30, said I'd have it by EOD,nope. Took off work for it to get done too. Thought they had honor, but the guy up front was even kind of rude about it. They lost my business for sure read more

If I had to sum it up in one word it would be HONEST. I would recommend to anyone. They don't do any advertising, all word of mouth referrals. I went in for an oil leak and they figured out that the place I had my oil changed last had misfilled my oil by removing the dipstick, which has caused oil to leak out. They fixed and topped off the oil free of charge. Very quick service also. read more

Absolute best Garage. I have been going there for 20+ years with all my vehicles. There is no one I trust more. Excellent service, don't over repair, direct truth. Place of integrity. I know them all by name because they first knew and cared about me. Excellent place!!!! read more

My family has been going to Don Perry's for YEARS, but lately their service has been so bad!! I took my car in and when I called to ask when they would be able to LOOK at it, not repair it, just look. They told me they didn't know. I then called again the next day and they repeatedly dodged my calls. I called then more than 10 times. Finally they got back to me and tried to tell me it was $1k+ worth of work. I ended up taking it to a different shop and they charged me only $200. read more

This place is AWESOME!!! Stanley and Charlie went above and beyond for us. Our truck was overheating we pulled into the garage driveway without knowing it was a garage and they came out running and we said we are over heating and they said pop the hood and went to help right away without us asking. Awesome people if I even need anything done I will come here and always refer my friends here!!! read more

I will attempt to keep this short. I've been without my vehicle for a month after fairly routine ac repair. They damaged the radiator initially and when replaced did not secure the trans cooler lines so it had to be towed back in after picking it up for them to replace the transmission. Incredibly disappointed, and this vehicle is how I make my living. Still waiting for it to be completed. read more

Great service. What they weren't able to help me with theysent to the people that could help me. Great customer service.

Our A/C went out on a very hot afternoon road trip to FW on a holiday weekend. We did not know any repair shop in the area and chose Don Perry's garage through Yelp. I made a phone call just before they opened and Ray, the owner, answered the phone. I told him what was going on with the car and he said we could bring it in. When we arrived we noticed the message painted on the building about how they do not "over repair" cars and how nice the building was. We stepped inside the office which was also very well-maintained along with the shop it was a busy morning with lots of cars there. They pulled our car in immediately and said that we could wait if we wanted to while they evaluated the situation. The people in the office including Charlie, Bill, and Ray could not have been friendlier and more helpful. And speaking with one of their longtime customers while waiting, I learned that that was how they always are and at the shop enjoys a very good reputation. I would not hesitate to recommend Don Perry's garage to anyone needing to service their vehicle. read more

These are the nicest repair people you could ever find! My husbands family has been going to them forever and they do not try to sell you stuff you do not need. The call you with a free estaminet before they do any work. Really quality people and almost always done the same day. We took our car in a day or two before we got married and mentioned that we needed to get it inspected before we drove it on our honeymoon. They do not have an inspection bay there but in known to us they took it down the street to get it inspected for us so that we did not have to worry about it! Really love this place and will tell anyone that is looking for a mechanic that this is the place!!!! read more

Great service! We have brought several of our cars here for random service issues. This place is courteous, fast and very fair. Several of our friends recommended this garage. I wish we'd found it much sooner. Better late than never! read more

Our family has been using Don for years! They are a great shop! Very old school in the level of service they provide, very personable with long term customers and also new customers. I have referred dozens of friends, and always glad they were told about them and continue to use them. They never over repair! Great family owned business!!! read more

There are VERY FEW shops I would trust to work on my Corvette. This is the one. Their shop is immaculately clean. Mechanics are well trained and knowledgeable. They always quote up front, and never try to oversell you something you don't need. The bill actually came in UNDER the original quote. I couldn't be happier with with my experience there. read more

Don Perry's Garage is the best place to take your car in Fort Worth! My partner and I live pretty close so not only are they convenient to our location, but they are honest. Any place I've ever taken my car to, I tell them the issue then they come back with a laundry list of things wrong with my vehicle - it's beyond frustrating! This doesn't happen at Don Perry's. These guys are honest, they do excellent work and they seem to be reasonably priced. They even wash the exterior of your car when it is ready to be picked up! Everyone is very nice. The place is ALWAYS busy but you wouldn't know because of how fast the service is. I have recommended Don's garage to many people and they are thankful I did. I am definitely a customer for life. read more

From experience, it is difficult to find a garage you can trust. Don Perry's is the one I trust now and after learning the hard way with others. They work in a timely manner, tell you exactly what's wrong instead of the trial and error approach, provide you with quality parts, take you right to the point professionally and without going around. I'm staying with them and obviously will recommend them. read more

It was time. My 2004 Ford F-150 needed some work. Has over 168000 miles of hard driving on it and has never had more than oil changes and tires. I read some reviews on this business and felt very confident. They did great work on my pickup! Full tuneup, bearings, inspection and even had my manual windows fixed as they didn't roll anymore. It hasn't drove this well since I can't even remember. I didn't want to even think of buying right now. It was worth the small investment to have my truck running great again. They will call you if anything comes up and I felt very comfortable with their advice and opinions. Very knowledgeable mechanics and fast work. And if they quote you a price you can bet it's accurate. No surprises. read more
