Yesterday I went to the burlesque brunch! It was fantastic. They seated our group together with one long table. I was very impressed with our server- Lindsay. Although there was an issue with one of the orders, it got straightened out. Besides that one thing- everything else was perfect!!! The food was great as well. The excitement was infectious as we waited for the ladies of burlesque to do their thing!!! They are also doing drag bingo but only at night! Maybe they will add a brunch bingo. The decor in Revelry is a cross between the early years of speakeasy's as well as sections of Nostalgia- such as an old school tv- complete with VHS Tapes. This spot is an excellent addition to the Pompano Beach area! The ambiance as soon as you walk in is very enchanting and feels almost magical which put my inner witch right at ease. The service is 10/10 as the bar staff is extremely friendly and attentive immediately upon taking a seat. I was recommended to try the "Garden Witch" drink and was left speechless at how delicious this dang drink was. Following this drink, we went with the "Stockholm Syndrome" and again, just blown away with their creativity in mixing flavors and spirits together that I would never imagine. It was still happy hour so my friend and I decided to grab a few bites including the loaded tots and buffalo truffle cauliflower and once again, HIGHLY IMPRESSED with how seasoned the food was along with the portion sizes. When it was time to get the check, the staff was eager to hear how our experience was and we were delighted to give them the praise they deserve! This is a new spot in Pompano that opened recently and has the best vibes around. Co-owned by burlesque performer Jezebelle Red, this lounge had beautiful decor, delicious food and hand crafted cocktails and beautiful performances. I went for a show with VIP tickets and ended up right in front of the stage! Best seat in the house. They have a great bar, if I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular! They have tons of mocktails and non-alcoholic options as well for the sober-curious crowd! I am excited to go back to try their brunch and celebrate my birthday. This spot is so cool and so nostalgic. You can watch old movies from a huge selection of VHS tapes. They have burlesque shows which I'd love to check out. The staff here is so awesome and friendly and you'll also meet some cool people that frequent here. I tried two of their cocktail specials and both were great. My favorite was the Gin drink. The drinks were good (that's the 1 star) but the customer service was very inhumane and disgusting. I was there recently, I had to suddenly leave due to a family member being sent to the hospital. The bartender that has long red hair mocked me as I was trying to wave any bartender down since I was in a hurry to go and needed to close my tab. As I told her I have to go to the hospital, I need to close my tab she said "well there's 100 of you and 5 of us so idk what you want me to tell you and rudely cut me off and rolled her eyes" I thought that was extremely insensitive and very rude. As I wish I had time to speak to a manager, this left such a bad taste that I don't for see myself ever going back or recommending this place to visit due to how someone can be so rude, insensitive, inhumane, and disrespectful. Just extremely disappointed that people treat other people this way. read more

Went to Happy Hour at Revelry. Ordered a few cocktails, the Burlesque Tart and the Old Fashioned. Both were mixed perfectly. The Tart was so good, had to have a few. They also offer a nice variety of beer and wine as well as other drink options. The prices for happy hour were so reasonable, 9 bucks for the cocktails. We ordered off the happy hour food menu... hot pretzels with 3 dips which were good and plenty to share. Ordered the Wednesday special hamburger with a beer for 15 bucks . The burger melted in your mouth it was tender, full of flavor and delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! They offer so many fun events which we will be back for. The Revelry is such a chic spot! The decor is amazing and the space feels intimate without feeling cramped. When you walk in you can seat yourself and our server came over to greet us almost immediately. We made it in for happy hour and ordered some drinks and food. The ludicrous bread was incredible and the loaded tots were the standout! Our drinks were really good too :) My boyfriend got the Gulfstream draft beer and I got a cocktail that I don't remember the name of, but it was really good and perfectly sweetened. The band was really good, I am not a fan of live music at restaurants but that band was amazing. Soft enough to talk but loud enough to enjoy the music. We have wanted to try this place for a while. We finally got there today, our server Hanscel (sp?) was brilliant. He gave us some great recommendations and very attentive. Bartender was amazing as well. I can't remember his name. (Sorry!) The food was top notch. The French dip is the best I have ever tasted. The cauliflower and burger exceeded expectations. We tried the burlesque brunch today. It is every Saturday between 11:30 & 2:00. We were only able to get a reservation at 1pm. Within that time, we saw 2 mini but very good burlesque shows. I ordered the fluffy buttermilk pancakes. This came with two good size pancakes with a blueberry topping. It was $18. To me, they were too sweet. My friends ordered the hummus plate, which is not on the brunch menu, but on the regular menu and they enjoyed it very much. After each burlesque performance, the lady would come around to each table with a tip bucket, so be prepared with some cash. I don't believe I have every seen a live burlesque show, so this was fun. Hands down one of our new favorite spots in Pompano. Such an eclectic place. Every time we've gone, we've been impressed with the food and service! I recommend call ahead as they usually have a live band playing and it gets packed. Food wise I've had their Challah at me - which if there is anything I would say you NEED to get, it's this. The tomato bisque is to die for and the grilled cheese is heaven. I've had the Jezebelle twice and both times it's been delicious. The mango habanero whip and the strawberry jam is such a good pair. I also highly suggest the prime rib French dip. For dessert you can't go wrong with their bread pudding. It's served warm with raspberries and this sweet cream sauce - yum!!!
