My experience at Retulled was absolutely fabulous! Amy is great, extremely helpful and the selection of dresses is phenomenal. My wedding "posse".. had a great time...we were allowed to pull dresses ourselves which is not the case at some other bridal shops..... this is definitely a plus for a "mature" bride. The prices were great and I ended up selecting a beautiful new/never altered or worn Galina Signature gown which was more than 1/2 off its original price. What an awesome experience. Tucked on the "main drag" in Irvington, Retulled is a used bridal boutique (however, note that many dresses are brand new with the tags still on them). I love the casual feel in here - no one rushed us and we were able to "do our thang" without feeling hovered over. Beyond being casual, the selection of vintage dresses here is INCREDIBLE - and, might I add that they are in great condition. If vintage isn't your style, they have plenty of ivory and white bridal gowns along with bridesmaid, prom and mother of the bride dresses. Oh, you'll also find shoes, gloves, hats, etc. I'm returning tomorrow and plan to add more photos. I went to Retulled Boutique on a complete whim as I had other bridal appointments later that day. I absolutely love thrift stores so I thought it was worth a shot. And I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. Everything was so organized and perfectly laid out. The store owner put so much time and effort making it feel like a real professional boutique and it definitely showed! They had a great selection of gowns from true vintage to newly worn to completed brand new dresses. I ended up saying "yes" to my dress at Retulled! And I could not be more happy. I visited this shop a few times recently as I was looking for wedding dresses. The first time I stopped in just to see what kind of dresses they had and to check out the place overall. I wasn't sure what to expect from a consignment shop, but I was really impressed! I saw a dress I liked and ended up trying it on that day. The owner was there and was very helpful in showing me the layout of the store and helping me to try the dress on. After that nice experience I came back with my entourage for the official wedding dress shopping day. This was our last stop for the day and after looking at a few other stores I had narrowed my search down a bit to more specific styles. I tried on several and fell in love with one dress. I said yes to the dress! And it was only $150 for the dress of my dreams! This whole experience with them was lovely! Both the owner and the lady who does alterations were there with me during the entire appointment. It was nice because, of course, alterations are needed so I was able to get a quick quote on everything to allow for budgeting. Other than the shopping I also really loved the space they have. It's an older house transformed into bridal shop and they really did a nice job with it. There are dresses for any style or budget also. They have the dresses split into different rooms depending on the price range so you can easily look only within your budget. Also, the dresses I tried on here were absolutely gorgeous! I had on a couple that although the style didn't work for me, I couldn't get over the quality of the fabric. I have had excellent luck finding great dresses here! I needed a white gown (whuch means I ended up with a not-so-weddingy wedding gown) as well as a black and white formal, and all my needs were met! They had a big selection of wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, formals, cocktail dresses, and vintage finds. The dresses I purchased were both in wonderful condition and exactly what I was looking for. I've also placed several things on consignment and most of them sold (my wedding dress had a spot on it, so I ended up donating it to Brides Revisited via reTulled). The ladies at reTulled were very helpful and encouraging, they gave honest opinions on everything I tried on, and they made sure to give me the best price possible. The prices were VERY reasonable, especially considering what I'd have paid for them new! My only negative experience was the gentleman there who offered to do my alterations. He was at the shop and recommended by them, though I don't believe he works directly FOR the shop. While he was very nice (especially to my tired-of-shopping kiddos), the job was not done well. I paid him up front, and then for our follow-up appointment he dropped off the dress and did not stay to make sure it was correct, which I found unprofessional, as we had scheduled this in advance. The dress did not fit correctly, and it was too close to the event to try for another appointment with him (as Irvington is about a 30-40 minute drive for me) so I had to pay for alterations AGAIN from another seamstress closer to home. (See my review for The Sewing Lady in Greenwood!) Again, I don't think he's employed directly by the shop, so don't let that deter you from finding your perfect dress there! Just go elsewhere for alterations if that gentleman's services are offered. I highly recommend this shop! read more

I decided to stop in since I was in the area, not sure if I'd find what I was looking for and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Amy and her staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I ended up finding dresses for two upcoming events, a suit for work and a vintage hat for an event, at a fraction of the cost I would have spent elsewhere. Had two great experiences here with my friend! We walked in on a Saturday and she tried on several wedding dresses that she really liked! We came back the next weekend with an appointment and a larger group and she walked away with the perfect dress just in need of some minor alterations! I had such a good time choosing my wedding dress at Retulled Boutique. I moved to Indy from Phoenix last December and I've been eating my feelings about all of the transitioning, so I'm not as svelte as I wanted to be for wedding dress shopping. That being said, I was dreading it a bit. The appointment process was super easy and handled by email. I slapped on my waterproof eye makeup and got ready to push through. I laughed the entire time I was there. Even though I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, Amy took what little of an idea I had and ran with it. She was so helpful, she knew where things were and she listened. She didn't try to push more expensive dresses or try to stretch my budget. The selection was so much bigger than I anticipated. The dress I chose needed some slight alterations and Amy highly recommended a local seamstress that was able to work in my tight turnaround time (I procrastinated a little). I am so glad that my sister was able to find her perfect wedding dresses at retooled. Amy I believe is the owner and she has great customer service. She greeted us and explain the layout of the shop because there are so many dresses. You really do need a brief tutorial before you start diving in. She told us what she had and asked us what we were looking for in between the three of us we were able to find perfect dresses. The prices are great! My sister luckily fit into the vintage dresses so she was able to get to within her total budget! I would definitely return there if I were a bra. They also have mother of the bride and bridesmaids dresses. If you're looking for bridal accessories such as the bill or a crown for a sash, they have all of these things too. My sister was able to find a perfect match that went with both of her dresses while we were there. If you want a modern aboard designer dress, I would recommend looking at the circular rack that is right at the front of the store. They have gorgeous designer dresses right in the front. I don't think I could've ever had a more perfect experience. This was the first bridal shop I had went to so I was trying to be open minded but once I got there I was sold. The owner was so sweet and helpful. She let me pick out a couple dresses I liked and gave me plenty of time. I found the most perfect dress to my surprise fits me so perfectly that I won't even have to get it altered. The dresses don't even look worn and the prices are so affordable. I can't say enough good things about this bridal shop! I went to a few others before I stumbled into this place on a whim - and I'm so glad I did. It was a busy Saturday, but Amy juggled everything really well and made us all feel special. I was looking for something unique and nontraditional. She was so open-minded and helpful. I hate leaving low reviews, but this one feels necessary. I made an appointment, and in that appointment, I specified that I was interested in only trying on dresses with long sleeves (and especially vintage ones). I was greeted by the sales associate, who immediately seemed annoyed because "all her other appointments cancelled, and she was waiting around for mine". Then, when I said I was looking for long sleeved dresses, so looked even more annoyed and said they didn't have any (again, this is something I specified when I made the appt.). Obviously, she had waited around for nothing I guess. Then I said, well, that's okay, I'm mostly interested vintage gowns. She took me upstairs, asked what size I was, and when I told her, she looked me up and down and said that I was a different size (pretty rudely). I've been buying vintage clothes for 10+ years, and I also know what size I am (because it's my body). Anyway, we tried a few dresses on, and decided to leave. As we walked out, she was pouting and messing around on her cell phone. A lady in the background said "have a nice day". I think we just got unlucky with our sales associate, but it's unfortunate, because it was a special day for me and my Mom, and the experience will definitely remembered. read more

I visited reTulled with my mom and several of my bridesmaids hoping to find the perfect dress for my wedding day. Although they had many dresses with the vintage look I was going for, their stock was not well organized and felt chaotic. Many of their dresses are already tailored to their previous owners, which makes finding the correct size nearly impossible. I left the store feeling overwhelmed and unaccomplished. If you go in with a lot of time and you're open to many, many alterations, reTulled might be for you, but I didn't have any success. read more

I had my wedding dress here on consignment and once my time was up before it was considered donated I picked it up. I asked them where the bag was and was told they did not keep the bag. Then I asked where the sleeves an extra fabric was and they informed me that they was sure they would locate them and that they are just doing a lot of moving around and to call back. I called back approximately 2 weeks later and they told me that they had found the sleeves. I went in and they tried to give me the wrong sleeves. I told her that was not the sleeve and she tried to convince that they were. I showed her a picture and she tried to convince me that she never was given those sleeves. Instead of admitting that they lost all of my stuff she continued to try to convince me that she never had them and that the sleeves she was trying to give me where mine. I LOVE ANNE!!!! She was AMAZING!!!! My husband actually found this place for me! I was nervous about purchasing a proper fitting wedding dress online and desperately needed to find something perfect and less expensive for me. After we arrived at the store, I looked around and was very nervous about the prices of some of the dresses. They were all very beautiful!! Anne, introduced herself and instantly my husband and I explained to her all of my concerns. She completely understood and answered all of my questions. She took a quick glance at me, and instantly told me that my dress size I assumed, was completely WAY off!! LOL!!! Thank you Anne!! She showed me around the store and pointed to me my dress size suggestions. I tried on three dresses and found the one that had the style I was precisely looking for! I noted it to her, and she pulled out the perfect dress from the back of the store!! I tried it on, and instantly fell in love!!! It was just right!! She introduced me to Tyrone and explained to him the alterations that I needed for the proper fitting of the dress! It was such an awesome experience! I had to refer my mother in law and sent my husband back in there to get his all black tuxedo she had in the store that fit him so perfect!!! Sadly, I have two complaints. My first is the referral to Tyrone. Not a very good look on the business. He needs to be a little more professional concerning clients planned time-frames with the completion of the alterations. My other complaint was concerning the petticoat I had purchased and placed on hold at the shop until closer to the wedding day. When Tyrone called me and noted to me that he would pick up my petticoat from the shop, after he completed the alterations, the petticoat was not at all what I had placed on hold. after noting this to him, he assured me that he would take the petticoat back and pick up the right one that I had placed on hold. The night BEFORE the wedding, Tyrone shows up with my wedding dress and the WRONG petticoat!!! While in my bridal in room, and getting dressed, I noticed that the petticoat was ripped and torn in many different places!! I was completely horrified!!! Minus the alterations referral, everything was great!!! She was an excellent host and my youngest son adored her!!! Thanks a bunch, Anne!!! You made our day so much easier and less expensive!!! I have been shopping to six different bridal shops and never felt like I could walk out with a dress. I am getting married in a short amount of time and had been told by all the stores I was running out of time to order a dress. I started to feel like I was never going to find a dress in time for my wedding. I went into this shop determined to find the one. It wasn't hard because there is so many beautiful dresses to choose from in so many sizes. The shop was so welcoming and wonderfully organized. The shop owner is so sweet and helpful. She has so many great ideas and knows her vast inventory. While I was there several people were shopping and yet I know we all felt like she was helping us shop personally. This is an amazing consignment boutique! There is a huge selection of dresses, accessories and even some jewelry - and everything is in great condition! I know they specialize in bridal gowns or bridesmaids dresses, but I came to the store looking for a red gown my daughter could wear to be a "Princess" at a HS event. I had been to 5 others stores looking for a reasonably priced Red satin dress, but they were expensive and would have to be tailored. When we walked in to Retulled, my daughter and I were thrilled - there were a TON of beautiful red satin gowns to choose from in all different sizes. We found the perfect dress - it fit her so well we do no have to tailor it- and the dress was less than $60! Amy and Tammy helped us get another petticoat to make the skirt flare, and then she was able to accessorize with a Tiara and earrings - walked out for under $90 - less than the price of any semi decent dress we had seen elsewhere. My daughter has already said she is coming here first to look for a prom dress next year! read more
