The prices are insane. A coffee mug that should be priced around $2.99 was $12.99. The majority of your items are not new and are donated. You are suppose to be a safe space for those within the community to find deals when maybe they can't afford to shop at the mall or they want to help the environment. The clerks were friendly whilst I was shopping and upon checkout. Left with a haul much bigger than expected and a big smile on my face. I will definitely be back.

We offered $30 donation to the store. We offered to get it out of the trash. Everything was absolutely NO. We got home and figured out what was wrong, and offered to come back to try. They said NO we already cut the cord and threw it away. We offered to still pay as we could fix the cord. The manager was extremely cold and wouldn't listen. He sternly said you can't get it out of the trash, don't try. Go to Deseret where everyone is kind and working towards a goal of helping others and making customers happy and satisfied !

The few times I went in they had a ton of Southwest style home goods which is awesome. The staff is super friendly and always incredibly welcoming, the prices are very reasonable, and best of all all the proceeds go to benefit the Humane Society of Southern Arizona! You can even donate your rounded up change at the register. They also have a stamp card program where you get a stamp for every certain amount you spend and once you fill up the entire card you can get 25% off one item! Definitely a win-win for everyone.

Had we had more time, we could have spent hours walking up and down the street checking out all the little shops. The Other Side actually connects with a pass through with another store called, the Tucson Thrift Shop. I don't know if they're two separate shops or one big one, but they sold the same type of vintage clothes, costume jewelry, and costumes perfect for any occasion. The staff were friendly, but stayed behind the counter and offered a nice smile and said hello when you entered the store and have a nice day when you left. They certainly dressed as if they shopped at their own store and had enough tie dyed shirts to make any deadhead happy. If you're in town, it's definitely worth a peek inside. I bought a hamburger hat for my burger club and my son would have bought a couple items if his "square" parents weren't there to make him feel "lame.

Connected to Tucson Thrift shop, but the building of the name on the building says The Other Side. One half of the building is more costume-y (think Renaissance, Western, princess, etc.) and the other side of the building has the vintage clothing from the 50's to the 80's. I saw a beautiful homemade dress made in the mid-40's that was unfortunately too small for me, however I found an adorable romper from the 80's that I couldn't let go of. There were some options for shoes and jewellery, lots of skirts and shirts. Not everything was necessarily from the era it was said to be, however it was of the style. * LOTS of options for both men and women! Usually thrift/vintage shops are more woman-based, however it almost seemed as if the men had more! * There was a shelf of cute shoes * Tons of cute jewellery coordinated with the eras * Very helpful people, although it was hard to identify who worked there. * The prices ranged vastly depending on what you're getting. It looked like the older something was, the more it cost. Not always the case, though * The costume side of the store looked really fun and I would suggest going for Halloween!
