If I could give a negative star rating I would. I spoke to Jennifer on the phone and thought she is not very friendly but I thought maybe she is having a bad day. Well I met Jennifer today at my mom's house and she is rude and very unprofessional. I advised on the phone I didn't have furniture to sell, mostly kitchen stuff, a piano, an old sewing machine and odd items. She said this was a waste of time and too far for them to drive. She showed up in sweats and flip flops and was smacking her gum the whole time. I would not waste my time with this company! read more

I give this two stars because I have purchased a few items in past. But the prices are not competitive at all with thrift stores in the area. I asked about a kids huffy bicycle, they wanted $65 dollars for a bicycle that walmart has for $80 new, when I asked if they were negotiable on the price, it was a hard no, so I left the store, I was no longer interested in any item. Though I have supported them in the past, I can no longer support this place. The pricing is not reflective of the economy. read more

HUGE selection of used furniture. Fairly large selection of clothing. Decent selection of kitchen and household items. Everything is clean seems organized into separate sections for ease of shopping. Prices are pretty good for a thrift shop. Not one of my favorites for selection, or maneuverability for handicapped individuals. read more

I stop into this store whenever I am on that side of town and I usually find something nice or needed to buy. However, today when I went into the shop I noticed that, despite the signs on the door that state that Treasures And More takes the coronavirus seriously, several of the customers inside the store were not wearing face coverings. The woman who was behind the counter was not only NOT covering her face (her face shield was angled up above her face), she was engaged in a prayer with two customers at the counter who were also not wearing masks. All three were holding hands, so their faces were only inches away from each other. I'm sorry, but that behavior does not indicate that Treasures And More is taking the virus seriously. It demonstrates recklessness and a lack of concern for the welfare of your customers. The last time I was there, the woman behind the counter (a different employee) was wearing her mask below her nose where it does no good. As a result of these recent experiences, I will not be returning to your store until the virus is contained. You have lost a customer for the duration of the pandemic. And if you're going to pray, please pray that the Lord will bestow upon your employees and customers the common sense and intelligence required to follow COVID prevention protocols for the safety of themselves and all of your customers. read more

When you fear fighting horders, close quarters and inconsideration - this should be on your list for second hand items. Between wares and wears you will not be left without a hunt. This is not your thrift store where someone already found something special and marked it up accordingly but rather to occasionally visit to see what has been recently given another chance to appreciate. When you are up for something away from assistance league, or another top notch but higher priced thrift store, Treasures is a place to find great items and through kind people working there to help if you need it. Also, watch the board on your right, behind the counter, going in - you can find what is marked 25-75 percent off that day. Making deals steals and easily feeling good about saying keep the change and pay it forward. Lastly, Wednesday is for you veterans and well aged folks with extra percentage off. read more

Extremely disappointed in my experience this morning. I have shopped and donated here many times. This morning when I tried to donate some items the cashier was on her phone and did not greet me. When I greeted her and asked if the store was taking donations she asked what materials I was bringing. I responded that I wanted to bring in some scrapbooks and picture frames. She responded with, no we will not take it. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. I guess I will take my donations to Goodwill or Savers. read more

Originally, this rating would have been a "1" for last week, they made a mistake that they blamed me for instead of trying to rectify it. I felt that I was treated terribly and was ganged up on to the point where I left in tears. However, after speaking with "Manager Matt" earlier today, that all changed. He listened to my concerns (which his staff did NOT do) and he apologized on their behalf because they--and I mean THREE--of his staff members didn't do either. After sharing with Matt my negative experience and feeling heard and respected, my opinion of this facility has dramatically shifted, hence the "4" star rating. Just want to say how sad it was to visit this retail store today. I was planning to purchase some accessories for our new hone, but I refuse to patronize any business that does respect their patrons. I have been going here for years, but the transition in the last two years has made me want to recommend them. This store is a treasure trove of unusual, mixed with the everyday items, in a format that is clean, organized and they actually will help you and talk to you about what you are looking for, and help you find it. The clothes are organized by color and sizes, the kitchenwares are stacked so you can see them all, the music and books are neatly organized and the furniture is layed out to see what you are getting. The guys in the back are polite and willing to help. The young lady who is in the front (Nicole), always seems to be there, with a smile and willingness to help. My kids love rummaging through the tools, TV's and sporting goods and they are always treated with kindness and respect. I appreciate the environment that is now at the Miracle Center Thrift Store and I donate our things there and buy things there. I highly recommend them for your purchases and donations! read more

I like this thrift store, a lot, although I hardly ever go since I'm loyal to another one, but clothes here are all for 1 dllr!! zero hard time finding whatever you like, since nothing can be overpriced, you grab it and know how much you will pay for it for far away! no need to be looking at tags, and everything is very well organized... BY COLOR! ... I have bought like 3 beautiful pair of shoes I just don't understand how nobody took them before... purse selection, I have to say, it's horrible! but the rest is so great.. The staff was helpful and kind. I purchased a heavy vintage saw, and thought it would be a problem loading. The gentleman on hand helped me load it carefully and without issue. The manager, Nicole is a total professional, kind courteous and able to answer all my questions. What a sweetheart! She is doing a great job and is someone I wish I met years ago! Really! VERY UNFRIENDLY AND RUDE EMPLOYEE! Considering this is a Christian store, they have a female employee with short brown hair that is EXTREMELY rude. And I mean, in your face rude. I have given her a half dozen chances but it is apparent that she doesn't care how she treats people. Everybody else in the store is so sweet, so Christian loving....but not this one gal. Think stereotypical, Christian charity, thrift store, and this is the place, right down to the Jesus Loves You sign on the wall, brochures advertising your salvation and hymns over the intercom. Since this store is based solely on local donations, there's a large furniture and housegoods section, but the clothing selection was pretty dismal when I was there. Mostly older cast-offs, it may be good browsing for a themed costume party, but I was put off by the lack of organization and overall cleanliness of the clothes and shoes. They do have a large collection of big artwork, glassware and furniture for not bad prices. If you're furnishing a new place on a budget it's a decent store to stop off at. The proceeds from the store sponsor both a men's and women's shelter in Tucson, both which the cashier seemed happy to chat about how the money is used. So if you're concerned about ensuring your money to 'charity' is spent locally and well, this is a great place to shop. read more

I came into town for Christmas to visit family and friends and I've seen this place and always wanted to stop there because I was curious what they had. Not only did I run into a beloved childhood friend but the staff was super friendly and I found some great artwork and other kitchen items. My sister found a great couch that she got a wonderful deal on. If I'm going to buy resale I like to support organizations that help people because we have so many people on the street and so many people who are trying to just recover in life from whatever! Now that I know this place is there I will visit it when I come into town and also donate financially. Sometimes people get really selfish about sharing and being kind to others. Those that have not had a good experience here consider that perhaps some of the employees are trying to just get their lives together picture yourself in that situation and perhaps you'll find kindness in your heart and Model A Better Way of being. Everything is priced to sell. The staff is really good natured and the owner Ron is a good man. I have really good couch, desk, chaise lounge, and some crochet blankets. I love everything I've gotten so far and the proceeds go to help women and their children through tough times. There is a second location for the Miracle Center on Broadway, but it's a bit more expensive, which I guess they can do because they are next to all these expensive furniture shops. read more

I understand the buy it AS IS policy, however, I went and purchased a small coffee maker for immediate use. After finding out 30 minutes later that it did not work, I called the store to see if they would allow me to trade it for the exact same item that was on the shelf as well since this one would not even turn on. That would have been the FAIR thing to do. They told me their policy of NO EXCHANGES/NO RETURNS was on the receipt, however, I wasn't given one of those either. I wasn't asking for my money back and I think it would have been the right thing to do to let me to try the other exact same one off the shelf. read more

Transgender people beware, this shop is transphobic! For years this was my favorite Tucson thrift store. The employees were willing to haggle prices and were also very welcoming. But after I came out as transgender, I went to this thrift store and got explicit dirty looks from the employees. The cashier even tried to ignore me. When the cashier had to engage with me, they rushed through my items without talking with me, and rushed me out of the store as fast as possible. This is so sad to me, because I used to love this thrift store -- I hadn't realized the staff was transphobic. I won't be giving them anymore of my business. read more

I went by there yesterday (06/09) after going to the dollar store on the corner (about 5:25p). I guess it was closing time, even though there were a few people in the store and the doors were wide open. I was about 5 feet in the door when the cashier barked at me like a drill sergeant, "WE'RE CLOSED...SIR." Seeing as how there are four other second hand stores in the nearby area and some of those are open well after 5:25pm, I don't see the need to go by the MCTS to be verbally abused again. read more

This Thrift Store is Amazing!!! All The employees and supervisors are so Help full and Honest first and for most. And all the proceeds go to a Very Important cause, and that is Sobriety and your Walk with The Lord!! The things they sell at the Thrift store are so High quality and priced very reasonable. I went on my lunch hour and found a few cute things. Waited 5 minutes to be checked out. Two ladies showed up laughing and joking barley acknowledged me. Then the phone kept ringing. It was another employee prank calling them. They kept laughing and passed the phone back and forth. Still not ringing me up and letting me stand there. I closed my wallet and left. They just continued on the phone. This is a Christian place that helps people with community service and they were cleary taking advantage of that. I don't know where the supervisor was but I was very dissapointed. After going to the dollar store next door I went back in. The few things I wanted to purchase were right up front. Obe one the same girls rung me up. Well she didn't use a register... She just said 5 dollars. Two of my things didn't have prices and when I inquired about a marked item, She charged me full price and not the 50% marked down price. It was green tag day. I won't ever be back. My daughter calls this the Jesus Store. That's because it's got Christian music on and the standard literature for one to take home. The prices are reasonable. They get some of the leftovers from Girls Estate Sales so if you missed something at one of their sales you might find it here. It's cleaner than most and the shelves are not as much of a mess as some Goodwill stores. read more
