Their clothes are separated by their color (love this!). Of course they have size dividers on the clothing racks. Clothes were in pretty good condition & I found that their prices were reasonable unlike another common thrift store in town. They even have dressing rooms! Only problem I found with their dressing rooms is there is no bench to sit down on if needed nor anyplace to set your purse. I only found 3 posts to hang clothes on but unfortunately others had left their unwanted items on them. I did find a rack outside the dressing room to hang your clothes on that don't fit/you don't like. I had to use the bathroom while there & found the ladies room clean & they even had more than one stall. There was two water fountains outside of the bathrooms & one had a filter water option so if you happen to bring in your water bottle you can fill it up with filtered water. I wish on their shoe racks that they had the sizes on the shelves & their shoes organized by their size. I found an expensive pair of dress pants for only $5.00! I also found a large selection of crafting scissors & bought a couple of them to use with a scrape book that I want to put together. There was no line when I went to check out. The cashier was nice. The store didn't have a strong smell of air freshener like some other thrift stores have. I didn't feel gross after shopping here. I'll definitely want to stop in here again next time I'm in town visiting my friend. I was very impressed. :-)

Service is alright. Glass & tableware aplenty. Some collectibles & household items. I found an old train case for $12 & on a different trip, a lamp for under $15. Like all thrift stores, prices are cheaper than buying new. Not a big store. The best part is that the proceeds go to Marana Health Care. Nice that it's local!

I see lots of stuff continually being dropped off, but it seems never to make it to the floor. Perhaps they sell their donations to other thrift stores? I had quit donating to the greedy salvation army when they started picking and choosing what they could sell quickly, now Goodwill gets fired. I'll throw it in the trash before I'll give anything to either of them. Just so you know, I've given thousands of dollars to your Goodwill in the past, and yes, you could resell those items for profits. I get the idea you have to throw out some things and pay dump fees, but you're just greedy now. You might first try being polite there at Thornydale Goodwill, since you are being paid to be there. Second, you can take tires, it won't kill you or make you go bankrupt, especially with the amount of donations you get.

So I loaded up clothing, shoes and books that have served me well but will not be a part of my life moving forward. I am so grateful for the opportunity to support this woman's shelter and support group by donating my above mentioned stuff. I met both volunteers and recipients and was incredibly moved by the experience. This is a much needed support group for women who are struggling in our community. I am grateful to have been a part of supporting this program. They are located at Park and 21st Street and are most appreciative of donations of your much needed items or volunteer work. This is a Women's Center for homeless women and their pets. This organization is such a wonderful…read moreplace that is much needed in our city. They assist women that are experiencing homelessness. They have laundry services, showers, restrooms, kitchen and outdoor garden for the guest to use while they stay there temporarily. You can gather a group of volunteers to cook dinner for the women that stay over night (40+). My friends and I attended a Kitchen Orientation recently and we plan to make a monthly dinner for the guest that stay over night. If you are unable to cook the dinner you can always have food delivered. You may also deliver donations such as: new womens underwear, socks, gently used clothing, sneaker/walking shoes, pack-backs, luggage, pet supplies (dog/cat/rabbit food, treats leashes, harness, pet toys, cat litter,etc.). They are in need of blankets, warm weather clothing and size 5/6 walking shoes. You may also make donations online or purchase items from their Amazon Wish list. They do provide donation receipt (if you need one)
