Most notable experience was using dry needling and the Neubie / Neufit machine. The needling helped relax and stimulate his high tension areas. The Neubie was the coolest part. It has stimulator patches that send electrical pulses to help calm the tension. She did a full body evaluation, found different points of diss alignment, and advised small changes to everyday posture (like different position while driving the car). She recommended a pillow and at home muscle stimulator which are both extremely reasonable in price. All in all, a great experience. What began as an injury to my left shoulder almost 4 years ago became a painful, weakening…read morecondition. I had been to physical therapy more than once, had an MRI and then a steroid shot in another city. When I moved to Houston and the pain was worsening and the mobility was decreasing, keeping me up at night and throbbing in the day, I made an appointment with Dr. Brian Banh. He spent time assessing and then treating the shoulder at each of our sessions with plenty of time and attention. He listened to me as I reviewed each week's improvements and added to the treatments each time creating more healing, movement, and strength. Now I'm off to another city and he has given me exercises to condition my upper body so I can continue the process of improvement. Amy, at the front desk, and Dr. Banh are professional and friendly. Finally, after a year and a half of dealing with the pain and it and only getting worse, I decided I had to do something. Dr. Ho would tell you I have a high tolerance for pain, but this was unbearable and I would wake up every night in tears it was so bad. I went to Texas Orthopedic Hospital to a shoulder specialist who wanted to shoot me up with cortisone, I'd had X-rays, an MRI, and went to a very well-known neurosurgeon to try and find out what the problem was. I didn't want to temporarily fix it, I wanted to know what was wrong. He said he didn't know why I didn't just get the cortisone shots and walked out of the room. If I wouldn't get sued, I would tell you his name. I couldn't believe it. I'd driven almost two hours to go see him because he came so highly recommended. Needless to say, I didn't go back and was furious! A friend recommended I go to a chiropractor. Her chiropractor in Wyoming recommended two in Houston whom I researched, but saw Dr. Casey Ho had, at that time, 20 five star reviews and was also an acupuncturist. HE'S who I wanted to see. He got me in the next day. Three needles later, ART, and an adjustment, and I walked out pain free...PAIN FREE!!! I'm grateful DAILY that I found him. I've been going to him for eight years now because I tend to be somewhat clumsy, and have taken some pretty bad falls, mainly because of my dogs, but they were completely my fault. I woke up with insane vertigo and went to my primary and ENT. They both told me it was likely my…read moreinner ear and that a crystal got loose. I had tried several maneuvers to get the crystal back in the right place, but none worked. My ENT recommended Balance Therapy and a test to make sure my vestibular (balance) system was okay. I told him I already tried different maneuvers and they didn't work. I even went to a chiro who tried, but it didn't work. My ENT told me that this place was very good. I made an appointment and feel so blessed by this experience. The test they conducted helped them pinpoint which vestibular canal was affected (my left) and made sure my vestibular systems are functioning well. Then Debbie, the owner, did my therapy. She is such a warm, kind and loving person who helped me with fixing that crystal in the right place that I on my own could not do. During the process Debbie offered me peppermint oil and water. Both really helped. My mother, who has had this same issue of crystals breaking loose, had never been told that her vertigo could be fixed and has been living with vertigo due to crystals breaking loose on and off for over a decade. I am now planning on sending my mother over here. They are a heaven send. Thank you!!!
