I felt the exercises were too easy for where I was at vs. what was "protocol". I liked that Crom felt like a hip gym rather than a geriatric facility. The way they train is fantastic & stands out amongst the competitors. I always had Gabby, Tyler and Amanda work on me together in tandem. I'd come in, was always taken back promptly and they would all 3 take turns working on me and tell me what to do next. This system of "group training" vs. one trainer split about 2-3 patients is way better. I never found myself just "sitting" and "waiting on what to do next". They have a great, positive attitude. I think it really helped keep me motivated and for me to try my best every time. I also enjoyed chatting with the other people training around me and having some good laughs. Dr. Roy was great to work with and he is clearly very knowledgeable and has a friendly demeanor. You won't go wrong coming here!

I called to reschedule my appointment from the 7th and the appointments that I had scheduled the following week for the week of the 18th and the 25th every Tuesday and Thursday. Fast forward I had to reschedule my flight from the 17th to the 19th of December due to the same family emergency and completely forgot to call on Monday to reschedule my appointment on the 19th. I admit it was the last thing on my mind and only remembered mid flight on Tuesday. Today I was running late for my appointment but on my way when I realized I was not going to make it by 8.15. I called at 8.09 saying that I was running late but most likely not going to make it in 4 minutes. I was more than happy to forgo the 15/20 mts that I was late if they would still have me or I could come in later. No one picked up and I left a voice mail message. Get a message a couple of minutes later saying all my appointments were cancelled and had to call on the day for Availability. I called again and explained that I just tried to call to let them know I was running late but on my way and that I left a voicemail message and I was faced with a rude front of house staff that insinuated that he was there all morning and didn't get any phone call or voice mail message and proceeded to tell me I had a cancellation on the 7th (I rescheduled didn't cancel) and a no show on the 19th and today that's why all appointments were canceled and proceeded to give me attitude when I tried to explain what the situation was, which only left me more aggravated and frustrated than I already was. My deductible has been met this year and all my appointments are fully covered so I was trying to do my best to still make it to my appointments since next year I will have to pay for these sessions . The arrogance and attitude that I got this morning made me want to forgo all my appointments. I will find another clinic next year, for my PT and will gladly pay. Bare in mind that I'm a returning patient that has been to the clinic before without any issues. This is not a reflection on my therapist that was wonderful but a sad consequence of a misunderstanding and how poor customer service impacts patients.

I am thrilled with the help and support I've received there from Chris B. I noticed improvement after just the first visit and it has continued with each subsequent visit. He asks questions each visit to be sure he understands my current condition and how things did after the last session, watches carefully to make sure my technique is correct, and pushes me to do more while always being cautious to not increase inflammation. I wish I had pursued physical therapy months ago! So far I've not had any problems with billing or the front desk staff as some other reviewers have reported, so perhaps they've changed out those personnel. The front desk staff have been efficient and courteous. I recommend this facility.

He was a very good guy and I enjoyed working with him. His supervisor was not very warm or friendly. I'm glad my interactions with him were minimal. The front office staff were friendly enough. However after my treatment ended, I was sent a bill saying I had missed three payments. Since I paid after each and every visit and had evidence to support that, I knew that was total nonsense. I received a lot of resistance from them and I got messages threatening collection agencies and possible legal action for less than $100.00. I finally just ignored them and they went away. I say, "Stay away from Action PT." By the way, this was my second and final such experience with them over a similar issue.

I went to the Select Physical Therapy on Richmond Ave which is closer to where I live. When I checked in I was told only have a $20 copay nothing was never mentioned that I would have to pay for anything out of pocket. To begin with the therapist was not the friendliest and as my therapy advanced during the weeks she became more and more agitated with me. Then was saying I was not where I should be with the therapy and even held my pinky down so hard that it started hurting even more and said if this is all that you can do then that's it. At first, she told me I needed to come 2 times a week and all my visits are covered by my insurance then said once a week then changed it again to I can skip a week. She was so inconsistent on my scheduling so I followed what she said but then changed it again to you need to come in more often!!! I went to my follow up appointment with the doctor in Suar Land and explained what was going on with the therapist at the Richmond Ave location. They have a Select Physical Therapy located in Sugar Land so he had me see the one at this location right after my appointment with him. She was super nice and made me 2 plastic splints that were much more comfortable than the ones by the other therapist. I was not told by either location that I would have to pay for any out-of-pocket expenses for the splints or that they got approval from my insurance first. Now I am being billed by the Sugar Land location for what the insurance didn't cover and was told that the Richmond Ave location had coded my claim incorrectly and would have to pay for an additional out-of-pocket amount from there as well. I am not happy with how this was handled and would not recommend going to these facilities who do not know how to make sure what is covered by your insurance before you have anything done and tell you all you owe is your copay but then bill you for something you thought was covered!!

When you walk in its noted as a "quiet space," that all phones should be off. Denise met me in the seating area, and brought me back to her consultation room. She had the calmest demeanor as I explained to her the symptoms that I had been feeling and the goals that I would like to achieve with acupuncture. She told me what I might expect, answered my questions, and was realistic which I loved. She took a basic set of vitals, looked at my tongue and told me I could sit anywhere. This is a community/communal acupuncture experience. Everyone was quiet, sleeping, and or meditating. The acupuncturist came over to me, and sterilized my sites. She then inserted the tiniest needles. I could not even feel them. (The needles came from a sterile package). I proceeded to meditate, and fall asleep. When I woke up 40 minutes later, I was very relaxed. The price is good, and I experienced exactly what I wanted. I will be coming back.

Most notable experience was using dry needling and the Neubie / Neufit machine. The needling helped relax and stimulate his high tension areas. The Neubie was the coolest part. It has stimulator patches that send electrical pulses to help calm the tension. She did a full body evaluation, found different points of diss alignment, and advised small changes to everyday posture (like different position while driving the car). She recommended a pillow and at home muscle stimulator which are both extremely reasonable in price. All in all, a great experience. They are busy most of the…read moretime, but their staff is always friendly and high-spirited regardless whether it's the beginning or the end of the day. Huy is my assigned physical therapist and I'm so grateful for his knowledge and dedications in what he does. I have a very low pain tolerance, yet Huy is extremelyyy patient and encouraging to motivate and guide me through all the exercises to make sure I'm reaching the necessary intensity and milestones for my recovery journey within a safe measure. They also have other assistants helping out during the exercises and all of them are very kind. Their positive environment makes my whole physical therapy journey a lot more tolerable and somewhat enjoyable. I'm always looking forward to my sessions there.
