I was treated for a pinched nerve in my neck 3 years ago. During my time they found that I was having some other issues which thank goodness I was treated for and released. I went back for an evaluation and everything was good. Two weeks later I fell and broke my left wrist and had to have surgery...Once again I am in therapy to learn how to use my left hand and fingers. I have 2 different therapists who do different things and they are wonderful. I had a different therapist who was good but she left to go back to teaching. During that time I had to stop therapy because my husband who went there before me, unfortunately had to have Heart surgery...They put a hold on my therapy so that I could take care of my husband. I am slowly returning to therapy and my hand is getting better. I highly recommend EVERYONE at the Therapy Spot...Office people included! I have been treated by Bellaire Physical Therapy numerous times over a period of 4 years, with amazing caring Therapists. I find their front desk staff to be very kind and helpful, Most recently there appears to be new hires, but they are very professional and cautious; I find it sad that they are referred to as disorganized as I have only experienced first class service from everyone! there is extensive seniority among the staff and they are always friendly as well. I would highly recommend Bellaire Physical therapy to anyone who wants to recover from any surgery, especially knee, neck and back pain, balance issues, etc. I have been a patient of M D Anderson for almost 15 years and they come recommended by MD Anderson. Front office is very disorganized and made the experience unpleasant and inefficient. Please improve because your therapists are great.

front desk is not efficient and organized. after repeatedly asking about insurance coverage I was told they were on top of it and finally I called the insurance myself and was told they had no record of request for PT. They were waiting on my doctor for info. So I called my doctor's office myself and said they had no requests for additional info. So SPOT dropped the ball and I had to personally get involved and straighten out. Very inefficient . read more

I had one visit and it was one of the worst experiences. The outright lied to me. They also kept interrupting the intake person and telling her to hurry up. The rudeness was off the charts. My doctor ordered traction and the intake person told me that was wrong. While I was waiting to leave they told me they DID NOT offer traction. The place is a money mill. I am a very experienced patient and this place was horrid. Plus it is hard to find and located off of a back alley and there is very little parking. I have great insurance and money and can go anyplace I want. They act like they are doing you a favor. Please, please go anyplace else. I did not schedule for obvious reasons. If you want to feel like a rushed cash machine then go for it. They should be ashamed. read more

About ten years ago I injured my spine and ignored it since it got better within a few days. Over a period of time it got worse and I finally went to a specialist, since it was painful to walk and my legs began to get numb after standing for a few minutes. After surgery to fuse L4 and L5 my surgeon recommended Bellaire Physical Therapy as one of the choices to help me back to health. When I entered their offices on the first visit I was wearing a heavy back brace and had to use a walker to move my feet. After a few months of physical therapy I no longer use a walker, or even a cane, to walk, I can rise from a sitting position on a chair without assistance, and am well on my way to feeling as if I am normal after ten years. The front desk has always been courteous and helpful, and the therapists have sometimes made me push my limits but never asked me to do more than I can do. Dr Lieberman is not just well educated in observing and diagnosing your problem, he can explain in simple terms what is going on. He can also give more in depth explanations when asked. Dr. Lieberman is a outstanding and excellent Dr., and honorable and trustworthy person. He works wonders with his patients. I was one of them. I had Chordoma Cancer, a very rare bone cancer that required that I lose all of my sacrum and all of the associated nerve roots. Very major surgeries and very significant nerve and muscle impact. Dr. Lieberman had me for three months and had me walking with a cane before I left to return home to Idaho. He also had schooled me with the understanding of what I needed to do to continue to progress. I now walk (albeit not like before) without any assistance devices at all, and am back to work where they have accommodated me with my disabilities. I am convinced that without Dr. Lieberman's expertise and care, I would not be walking unassisted today. He is a great person, and has become a great, lifelong friend. I would recommend him and trust him with my life in his area of expertise. I can't say enough good about him. read more

Very knowledgeable capable therapists. Three therapists are Doctors of Physical Therapy which is hard to find. Everyone is very friendly and caring from the front office to the therapists. When I called to make an appointment I actually spoke with Dr. Lieberman. He was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable with my choice. I saw three therapists during my treatment and was impressed with all of them. They all helped me achieve my goals and I had a better quality of life after completing therapy. I received Occupational Therapy at Bellaire Physical Therapy for arthritis in my hands.....I was amazed that my pain was reduced from about a 6 on most days to mostly 0 and a 2 on my worst days. Chani Stewart was an amazing therapist she spent time going over detailed exercises I could do to reduce pain and stiffness. She taught me how to modify every day tasks to reduce the stress on my hands especially my thumbs. Her work was completely patient focus caring and sensitive. By far the best Physical Therapy clinic I have EVER been to. Every single therapist, assistant and student is willing to go the extra mile to help their patients. I have nothing negative to say about Bellaire physical therapy. They help babies all the way to senior citizens. I'm a college athlete and have been injured many times and after a few weeks at BPT I'm good as new! 100% the place to go for rehabilitation no matter what type of injury you have.I would put 100 stars if I could. Happy to read that many others had positive reviews and feelings towards BPT. Unfortunately for me, I am unable to write/say the same. The clinic blamed my doctor's office for not returning calls but the doctor showed no record of having received any calls. The clinic says the doctor's order did not provide specific instructions but yet the new clinic I chose was able to begin working immediately off a copy of the original order and then begin additional work after receiving additional orders. read more

I came here because a coworker recommend Bellaire PT after I dislocated my shoulder. Dr. Lieberman and the staff have been super helpful teaching me strengthening and range of motion excersises to help me heal and prevent further injury. My doctor referred me to Bellaire PT for chronic shoulder pain I have had for 2 years. I have had mediocre experiences with physical therapists in the past, but this was quite different. This is a highly educated and knowledgeable group of professionals. They diagnosed me with shoulder impingement and we went to work. I returned to weightlifting this week with NO pain. They have also helped me with neck pain I have recurring problems with. This group will work hard to solve whatever problem you have. They communicate with each other for input and ideas. Came to see Dr Lieberman after previous physical therapist did not resolve my shoulder issues and I had been in pain for a year. Within a couple of weeks, I had marked improvement and almost no pain.
