During that time I had to stop therapy because my husband who went there before me, unfortunately had to have Heart surgery...They put a hold on my therapy so that I could take care of my husband. Most notable experience was using dry needling and the Neubie / Neufit machine. The needling helped relax and stimulate his high tension areas. The Neubie was the coolest part. It has stimulator patches that send electrical pulses to help calm the tension. She did a full body evaluation, found different points of diss alignment, and advised small changes to everyday posture (like different position while driving the car). She recommended a pillow and at home muscle stimulator which are both extremely reasonable in price. All in all, a great experience. Because of them, I can move freely again- something I realized I hadn't been doing for YEARS. They taught me the correct body mechanics and made me feel amazing. I have now joined a gym and am working out with confidence. However, what has really been life changing is that before I worked with them, I didn't think I would be able to keep up with a baby and had put off pregnancy. I am thrilled with the help and support I've received there from Chris B. I noticed improvement after just the first visit and it has continued with each subsequent visit. He asks questions each visit to be sure he understands my current condition and how things did after the last session, watches carefully to make sure my technique is correct, and pushes me to do more while always being cautious to not increase inflammation. I wish I had pursued physical therapy months ago! So far I've not had any problems with billing or the front desk staff as some other reviewers have reported, so perhaps they've changed out those personnel. He was a very good guy and I enjoyed working with him. His supervisor was not very warm or friendly. I'm glad my interactions with him were minimal. The front office staff were friendly enough. However after my treatment ended, I was sent a bill saying I had missed three payments. Since I paid after each and every visit and had evidence to support that, I knew that was total nonsense. I received a lot of resistance from them and I got messages threatening collection agencies and possible legal action for less than $100.00. I finally just ignored them and they went away. I say, "Stay away from Action PT." By the way, this was my second and final such experience with them over a similar issue.

The ambiance of the waiting room is very calming and I love their decor. They have soft spa music playing and a tea station. One of the staff members took me into a room to do a few intake tests. I changed into a gown and she provided privacy while I did so. She tested my back with these probes to see where I had inflammation and did a stress response test. Then I was taken to another exam room to see Dr. Burk. She is very energetic and explains things well in detail. She asked me a few background questions first about my medical history, any past injuries and previous chiropractic history. I showed her a few reports of prior imaging that I've had done before. After that we did my adjustments and she explained along the way what she saw and what the treatment was that she was doing. She accommodated my belly with a special pillow so that I could lie flat face down for my back adjustment and protect baby. She used a certain equipment that let her adjust my spine without putting that much pressure. My primary reason for coming was to have better hip alignment to prepare me for delivery in a few months. Overall I really enjoyed my first visit here. I'll have to see how my body adjustments do to say how often I will come. They do not take insurance, so everything is self-pay but it was worth it. The first exam is always going to be the most expensive and the subsequent visits will be a little cheaper. They do offer prenatal massages here as well, but IMO a little too pricey.
