It's like a mix between a clinic and fitness studio but with calming music. I didn't realize that it's meant for not just people who exercise and need to be stretched out, but its also beneficial for those who have issues such as fibromyalgia, injuries from sports, or just general tightness. I had a lovely session (with all of my clothes on minus shoes), and the tech explained what she was doing and why. I could define tell which muscles were tight and which were willing to give. At the end of the session, I felt an odd sense of relief. They recommended that I return for a stretch assessment, so that future sessions can be better catered for my muscle and body needs. I was already driving to the appointment by then I asked for manager and he had just left few mins before I arrived. Smart doesn't want to deal with upset customer. If they didn't have someone run the appointment I should have been notified before the day prior. Worst experience ever and horrible way to treat potential long term client. No respect. Showed their lack of respect for clients by canceling 30 mins prior with no call and by text only. I did book another appointment at memorial location and they canceled by appointment and moved up 2 hrs which didn't fit in my schedule. So this is standard practice to cancel their appointments since happened more than one location. But At least memorial location notified me way in advance. Don't waste your time so go to another company that does stretch services hopefully doesn't cancel appointments. Nobody should be canceling 30 mins prior and manager should know how to run a treatment if he can't find help do it. Horrible business model. Happy they canceled so much so I know not to go here.

It has the basic equipment needed for therapy. I mainly worked with Iman and Anastasia, and both are fantastic. Iman went above and beyond, emailing me extra exercises to do. I always felt behind, but everyone was very positive of my journey. They do have physical therapy students who rotate through this River Oaks location. I highly recommend it if you are looking for real results, which runs about 50 minutes per session.

He asks questions each visit to be sure he understands my current condition and how things did after the last session, watches carefully to make sure my technique is correct, and pushes me to do more while always being cautious to not increase inflammation. I wish I had pursued physical therapy months ago! So far I've not had any problems with billing or the front desk staff as some other reviewers have reported, so perhaps they've changed out those personnel. However after my treatment ended, I was sent a bill saying I had missed three payments. Since I paid after each and every visit and had evidence to support that, I knew that was total nonsense. I received a lot of resistance from them and I got messages threatening collection agencies and possible legal action for less than $100.00. I finally just ignored them and they went away. I say, "Stay away from Action PT." By the way, this was my second and final such experience with them over a similar issue.
