He explains everything in a kind, no pressure manner. It is priced very reasonably, and you feel 100% safe! If you are even thinking of trying cryo, I would say consider starting here. The location is very easy to get to from HH Island, right by the Walmart/Sam's Club in Bluffton. (15 minutes from Palmetto Dunes) My husband went back with me the next day on our way home, because he has some serious shoulder pain and does not want to take drugs to alleviate the pain. We both felt better, and will consider doing more cryo, as our first experience at Carolina Chillin was so good. They also have an infrared sauna there, if you are looking for that treatment. Albert is someone who is genuinely interested in helping others to heal and feel better. He gets you in and out quickly, but is willing to talk to you as much as you need to talk to answer questions.

I have very hard to stick veins and often have phlebotomists or nurses try to stick me upwards of 5 times to find a vein before a successful attempt, but she got it on the first try despite being very dehydrated and therefore making the veins harder to find! She was also a lot of fun to talk to and told me stories from her life while we waited for my body to absorb all the fluids. I felt much better after and can't thank her enough for her help.

This was not a massage but just an infrared sauna and float session--booked specifically with Jessica--and did not require extensive hands-on staffing. Apparently, there is no backup plan to keep the business operating if someone calls in sick. I scheduled the package two weeks in advance. When booking, we spent 30 minutes completing forms and releases. Jessica offered another day for an appointment, but I explained I was traveling and leaving in two days with an already full schedule. She reiterated that she could not keep the appointment because someone had called in sick. Since she was the person assigned, it felt strange that she needed to cancel because of someone else's schedule and it seemed more like she might just not want to work that day. She was not apologetic and basically said I should understand. As a business owner myself, I find last-minute cancellations without contingency planning EXTREMELY unprofessional--especially for clients who have booked well in advance. As mentioned, there was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience or disappointment caused. We were genuinely looking forward to this experience and were let down by how it was handled. The system was so glitchy it took me nearly half an hour and multiple attempts just to complete the process. I never received a confirmation email, and it turned out my booking wasn't even properly secured. You can actually add a cold plunge to your cart and pay without scheduling it--which is exactly what happened. By the time I realized, I was already at the payment screen and had been charged. After that, I had to log in again, sign my name five times (for a cold plunge?), and finally schedule the appointment. The next day, I received a call saying the cold plunge wasn't available, so I agreed to switch to cryotherapy. When I showed up--after driving around a bit because the GPS location was off and it's hard to find as a first-time customer--the building was completely closed. I arrived a bit early, waited outside for five minutes, and then left. I texted the representative, but despite having confirmed the appointment over the phone, they refused to refund me and claimed I was a no-show. Overall, a frustrating experience with poor customer service. Definitely won't be returning--and honestly, if they had refunded me, I probably would have.

The young man at the front was very friendly. He explained how the whole experience would go, and what exactly I needed to do. And for those who don't know. Apparently, once in the chamber you derobe? Which was hard to re-robe after freezing your tooshie off for 3 mins. And my other suggestion to the owners is to possibly have smaller slippers and gloves for little people like me. Granted it's not a far walk from the changing area, I just felt like a 5 year old wearing their parents shoes for fun. My last suggestion to the owners, is for rebooking and discussing promos. After the experience there was a kind of awkwardness, no receipt or discussing future appointments. Now for those who are seriously considering giving Crytotherapy a try! Do it! You won't regret it. It was definitely a cold 3 mins, but it seriously helped having a song to jam out to during that time. And the effects I felt afterwards was absolutely AMAZING! I felt tingly all over, energized and ready to take on the day. The nerve pain I was experiencing prior greatly subsided and I actually slept really well that night. So in short, I will definitely try it again. And would like to compare my experience with the other cryotherapy clinics in the area before deciding on a regular location.
