Our family home started on fire the day before Christmas last year (2016). We were just devastated as we lost generations of memories but feel very blessed that no one was hurt! While standing there numb and in disbelief as the fire departments finish securing the fire, we were approached by a team member from Restore Construction.....Thank Goodness! Not only did they walk us thru the next steps to come and explain what to expect, they had a team there preparing our home so it was safe and secure from the weather elements and looters within an hour of the fire department leaving. As hard as it was during the process, Restore was there to help every step of the way and always available to answer any of our questions. The customer service and craftsmanship are hands down The Best! They have gone above and beyond since day 1 and delivered exactly what they promised. I have to mention just a few of the wonderful and caring staff that we had the pleasure to work with: Pat, Mike, Chris, Renee, Sue.....Joe & the very talented Kamil and his team!!! Thank you, Thank you for rebuilding our home so that we can continue to build our memories and enjoy our home once again! We could go on and on about our experience and how professional and passionate the team is at Restore, so if you are reading this and need more information, we would be happy to share our story and experience. November, 2016, the unthinkable happened to our family: our entire life was flipped upside down in a matter of minutes when the new house we purchased two-month prior caught on fire. After trusting my insurance adjuster for two months, nothing was attained but agony and suffering to my family and myself. My attorney highly recommended PM Adjusting, LLC ("PM Adjusting"), and I am so fortunate he did so. PM Adjusting diligently interpreted our policy and explained to us our rights; they immediately secured the release of a significant monetary advance and a temporary stay at a five star hotel accommodation until we find a comparable accommodation to our loss. PM Adjusting's involvement provided me with a peace of mind and allowed me to focus on my family and business again as they assumed full responsibility for the claim process, managed all communications with my insurance company and kept me informed on a daily basis. Their team of professionals and experts, including but not limited to policy specialists, construction consultants, attorneys, industrial hygienists, electricians and mechanical contractors, was able to negotiate and secure a comprehensive settlement. With PM Adjusting expertise and effectiveness in our side, we were able to put this nightmare behind us and focus on making our house feel like home again. I would highly recommend them to anyone who experiences the tragedy of a fire. read more

In December 2015 I had a house fire and I have to admit that I felt completely overwhelmed with the situation. Not only because I felt as if I had lost everything but also because I did not know what my next step should be. That same night I had my house fire, I had dozens of companies trying to get me to sign a contract with them and I spoke to them because I did not know what to do. These companies were not legit and did not give me or my family time to process the situation and try to make people make rash decisions based on the vulnerable state they are in. Restore called me the next day and I noticed their professionalism immediately. We set up an appointment with them and they seemed like a company with a track record and the experience needed to give us our home back. They are a company that is serious about complying with building codes and wants to get the job done right. When restoring a home there are so many details that it's impossible for everything to be perfect but they still listen to us and come fix any concerns we may have. Getting Restore on the job was a blessing and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

if you want the best in the business, call these pros!! we came home from vacation late that day and the house had a bad odor when we openned the door. we discovered that the water heater had ruptured and the basement, bathroom, and rec. room were flooded! we contacted restore and they came out the next day. they pulled up the carpetting, cleaned and sprayed the entire basement and set up blowers and air filtration equipment. jim called that night and asked how it was going? we told him the odor was abating. he came by the next 2 days to check the humidiity, and when it was ok he had the next crew come in to replace the wood trim, followed by the carpet guys who brought samples and then installed the new carpetting, followed by the floor tile crew who also brought samples to replace the tiles in the laundry room, for the most part, i "almost" could have sat in my chair and watched tv during the whole process!!! it was seamless. thanks to jim and all the restore people who made this experience as easy as can be.............richard p.s. and yay i didn't have to move any furniture because they do it all!!!! read more

Restore recently completed a water damage repair project at my home. Unfortunately, we experienced a pipe burst while on vacation, which caused damage to our 1st floor and basement. We were devastated when we came home to see the damage. We immediately called our insurance agent who recommended Restore. I could not be happier that he did so. Restore's techs were at my house within an hour of my call to perform emergency mitigation services. They ripped out all of the wet building materials, cleaned, sanitized, and installed drying equipment. They were very professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. I then worked with a different team for the repairs. The construction crew was fabulous. They promptly addressed my what seemed to be hundreds of questions and eased my mind. Their craftsmanship was impeccable. The house looks even better than it did before the pipe burst. Restore also worked with my insurance company, which was a huge help since I had never filed a claim before this occurrence. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend Restore to anyone who experiences water damage like I did. read more

Great company to do business with, very professional and kept their word on all that was promised. Contractor was easy to work with, very accommodating and did a great job! Finished a full 2 months early! Had a fire on my back porch in August of 2018, and like most people who have ever had a fire, had NO IDEA the work involved to get things "back to normal". Starting with the removal of all the debris, and removal and cleaning of all salvageable items. When they brought everything back 4 months later, it was cleaned so well, we didn't recognize half of the stuff. We got to pick out all the colors, flooring, carpets, sinks, faucets, cabinets, basically everything that was replaced. Throughout the process, they were patient and understanding with us and answered all our questions. At the beginning, when they met with the insurance company to determine the "scope of work", I felt they did an excellent job of fighting for us to get all issues addressed. Great experience from the beginning to the end, from the office staff to the contractors. I would highly recommend them if the need arises. read more

Last spring we had a fire in our basement laundry room. The laundry room was destroyed and it also affected our kitchen, since the laundry room is below our kitchen. Restore came in and did everything including clean-up, clean air machines, painting, flooring, and reconstruction of my basement, kitchen and more. The team of people we worked with, Nicole Bastin, Tim O'Dell and Jim Falzone were beyond amazing. Tim (contractor),his son (Tim) and Jim (project manager) had great ideas on recreating my laundry room and kitchen which now looks beautiful! Tim and his son (Tim) hooked up my washer and dryer before the basement was anywhere close to completion so I would not have to go to the laundry mat. Nicole helped me deal with the insurance adjusters, and any questions I had. Whenever, I called Nicole if she was not available she would return my call promptly. Nicole was always patient, understanding and kept us well informed on the progress of the job. They are an amazing team that works great together. Thank you, Restore I LOVE my new basement and kitchen!! read more

My husband and I recently purchased a new home and when replacing the carpeting we noticed water damage on the subfloors. Knowing we needed to get the situation assessed, we called Restore who was recommended to us by our brother (he worked with the company after his basement in Hinsdale flooded). Restore was fast, friendly and responsive. They had someone out within 24 hours probing our walls and looking for signs of water entry. Unfortunately for us, multiple leaks were identified. They thoroughly explained the situation, provided us with options and their recommendations for moving forward. Restore knew we had other contractors lined up to begin renovations so they got to work quickly. They finished the work on time and came in under budget. Their contractors were courteous and clean. We have a 1 year old and they did their best to work quietly when he was resting and left our place spotless. All in all, Restore made a very stressful situation a little less painless and after the leaks were addressed we were able to move on with our plans. read more

Another wonderful job done by Restore! My family's home experienced a minor fire in our back porch back in early March. Luckily, restore was at the site within a few minutes, helped bored up the extensive damage that was done by the fire department who needed to break our door, multiple windows, and our roof to let the smoke out. Anyway, restore was there! We worked with Julian, who was the contractor overseeing the project. The work done was incredible and the workers really took the time to ensure that the work was done well. Restore even helped us find a reliable cleaner service! I had NO IDEA the amount of work that needed to be done after a fire. The house smelled like a campfire and all our items needed to be cleaned. I should mention that our insurance company (State Farm) paid for everything and we never had to deal with any issues. All the paperwork was managed through both restore and state farm. Thank you Restore! You have a great office, great staff, and wonderful contractors! read more

I would recommend Restore to my family and friends. I gave a 5 star rating because not only did they restore my house back to normal they restored it beautifully that I feel like I live in a new house. I had a SUV run into my house in 11/2014. By the time I got a few estimates from other construction companies I picked restore due to their reasonable prices thank you Mr. Allen. They quoted 5 weeks do all repairs but to my surprise my house was done in 8 days. THIS IS UNHEARD OF! From the first day they showed up to the last day they worked hard, they were very professional and were very supportive of all the inconveniences we had to go through since I've never experienced such a remodel. And what can I say about Marcin and his team Jim and his group of workers. Such good people, professional, hard workers and very organized. This is the key; organization of your teams, respect and dedication to your craft. Again thank you all and thank you Mr. Falzone for all your support and knowledge. read more

Restore Construction was a blessing we had a pipe break tin the upstairs bathroom and no one was home at the time on vacation. My neighbor checking on the house opened the back door and water came pouring out we called Restore Construction they came to house put a new heater in because it was winter and began pumping the water out of the crawl space that took a major part of the day. They then proceeded to take down the damaged dry wall and floors that were ruined and cleaned all other areas as needed. The entire staff from the office to all working personal was nothing but GREAT a quick turn around and they took care of everything including working directly with my insurance representative. and they the snow melted and the crawl space flooded again and as before it was handled to perfection from drying to cleaning to spraying to guard against mold. When you need a company to help you at a time of call RESTORE CONSTRUCTION they are the BEST !!!!! Kenneth C. read more

We had a house fire in the middle of the night. We asked our local fire chief who to call to board our house up and they called Restore for us. We really were still in shock when Restore Construction came to the house to talk to us. They told us they can take care of everything from board up, to gutting and rebuilding the whole inside of the house. They did the board up that night. Nikki came in and helped me with inventory of the whole house so we can clam it to the insurance. Once the insurance gave the ok they stared working on the house. They where very knowledgeable and helpful with everything we needed. Chris, Julian, and Katie worked with everything we needed and if we had question all we had to do was call and they would take care of it. It was really hard for us being out of our house with three kids but they worked fast to get us back in as soon as possible . The whole staff was AMAZING. read more

My house caught fire back in September of 2017. During that time we had several people come out trying to get our business. There was only one company that stood out to us and that was Restore. They were there from the beginning to the end. Helping us with everything. They even took the time out to go get food for my kids when they got out of school. A lot of companies talk the talk until they get your business but not Restore. They didn't give me any false hope and kept their word about everything. Their staff is amazing and always available to answer any of the million questions I've had. Julian, Augie and Sue have been amazing to my family and I during this unfortunate time. My house is beautiful and exceeded everyone of my expectations. If this unfortunate event would ever happen to me or anyone else I would definitely send them to Restore. Thank you guys for all your hard work and dedication. read more

My home was destroyed by a fire Dec. 2011. Thank God my insurance company told me about Restore. Watching our home go up in flames was heart breaking and my husband and I felt helpless. Restore showed up by day break told us they would help us with this and take care of us as best they could. I could never explain in words just how well they did just that. They not only rebuilt us a beautiful home that we love. They took care of us every step of the way. I would with all my heart tell ever person i could that Restore is a company that cares! They not only care about the work being done but the families involved. Restore and all the staff we have met will always have a special place in the James families hearts. We do still have some good companies with owner that care about more than the money they are going to make in the world today and Restore is one! read more

I had extensive water damage in my home from the main level that flowed into my finished basement. Carpet, ceiling tiles, televisions, drywall, hardwood flooring and tiles all had to be replaced. I was amazed at the quick response and quality of work we received from Restore Construction. They attacked the job immediately and the professionalism of their workers was unmatched. They brought samples right to our home, we made paint, carpet and tile selections and the jobs were completely immediately. They took great care to remove all of my furniture and store it until the repairs were made then returned everything exactly where it was when the job was complete. Most importantly I felt like they treated my home like it was their own. My family could not have been more impressed and pleased with our choice to call Restore Construction. read more

October 13 2017 our lives we completely turned upside down when we woke to the 3rd floor of our apt building we own fully engulfed in fire. The next morning when we got back to our building the only people that were there when we showed up was the fire men, police, and Restore. It was a mess. COMPLETE LOSS! Even before signing anything Restore Restoration went ahead and boarded up everything for us without hesitation (Which is very important) From day one they were there, and made this whole process as easy as could be expected. Not only that, here we are a year later and we have the house of our dreams. We converted our 3 flat to a single family. And it is beyond what we're could of ever expected! I can't say enough about Restore Restoration and their team of professional people. Solid team!!! read more

My experience with using Restore Construction was nothing but positive. I needed their servies after experiencing water damage to my condo. The biggest job that needed to be done was replacing of my hardwood which impacted 80% of my home. My primary contacts were Jim and Mark with Restore Construction. They were able to answner all my questions in a timely manner which made preparing and planning to be out of my home during construction much easier. When the work was finished I was blown away by how good it looked and the time it took to complete was much shorter than I expected. Post construction, my condo looks even better than it did before and if I needed their services (hopefully not for water damage again!) I wouldn't hestitate to us them again. Thanks Restore Construction! read more

We experienced a fire at our home this summer, which caused extensive damage. A friend recommended Restore Construction and we are so very pleased with the excellent work they have done to restore our home! The Project Manager, Julian Doce, has been patient and attentive to our specific requests-- no matter how big or small. He has been excellent, as was the entire team that worked on the house. Julian was in close contact with my husband as the work progressed and we were relieved of a lot of anxiety and stress, knowing that our home would be returned to its pre-fire state (much, much better actually!!). We just can't say enough. THANKS, Julian, the construction team, and all of the management and office staff who were professional and informative from start to finish. read more

My parents experienced water damage in their basement and thankfully called Restore. Restore not only cleaned up the water and demoed the necessary areas but also completed the repairs. They were prompt and professional throughout the entire process. They even helped us remove and dispose of the large pieces of furniture in the basement. They reassured us everything would work out well while we were frantic and upset about the damages. Restore did an excellent job ensuring we received enough money to complete all of the necessary repairs to bring our basement back to how it was before the flood. The hardworking and dedicated staff members were wonderful! I would definitely recommend Restore to anyone who experiences water damage in their home. read more
