Martha and her company ASAP carpet & HVAC cleaning by my best friend who had used them for her own HVAC cleaning. We both have pets and allergies and I know she wouldn't give me a bad recommendation. Her experience was so positive, I knew I had to reach out. I don't think ASAP does carpet cleaning in the Columbus area, but they do come to Columbus for HVAC cleaning - yay!! Not only was Martha kind and prompt throughout the scheduling process, she thought of everything -- including looking at my house/street parking situation. I had never had HVAC cleaning before so I never thought about needing parking permits since they worked for probably 5 hours. I worked with the city and paid for the right-of-way parking we needed in advance. Her consideration helped us avoid a huge issue! We didn't have to wait too long for our appointment. They arrived on time, worked quickly and thoroughly. I knew our HVAC was dirty, but man the before/after photos they took were unreal! No wonder I couldn't keep the dust down! My favorite part - and this really sets them apart: they use a thyme-based disinfectant in the ducts that smells SO good! It doesn't last long, but everything smells fresh when they're finished. It is oct 27th and the job is barely halfway done. Their employees showed up oct 14th and did very little other than lay out the heater on the floor. Oct 15th they got the heater mounted and connected to gas. Oct 17th a technician stopped out for an hour to hook it up to electric. Heater still needs duct work complete and thermostat installed. I called them Oct 20, 21st and the 22nd. Each time they stated "technicians will be out tomorrow to complete" technicians never showed up. I called again today the 27th and they said the same thing. I told them I want to speak to the job manager. And he will not answer my calls. Dormar has been consistently behind schedule. They didn't even have the duct work I told them they would need when they showed up to the job. They have provided no updates or reasons for delay to me. And now the job manager will not respond to call or text. Stay away from DorMar ! Poor job management will result in delays to construction deadlines. I'm on the verge of cancelling their agreement to have an alternative company finish the work.

It had a pretty heavy traffic path in the living room. We called Stanley Steamer and paid them over $300. Unfortunately, they were paid that day so no way to hold the money. Afterwards, it looked so poor, two pet stains in the same room that weren't cleaned, I brought my 10 year old Hoover carpet shampooer and ran over the traffic area and pet stains. The first time I ran it, the water was really dirty so I assumed....ok, bad walking area. I refilled my shampooer and ran again and took a picture of the second time I shampooed the area. The water was filthy. We called Stanley Steamer to come back to make it right. The guy would not look at my residential shampooer, would not look at the water I had saved or pictures, and told me the dirt would move up the shaft of the carpet after it is steamed cleaned and that is why I was able to get that much dirt out of the carpet afterwards. They would not redo the carpets without charging us again. This review will not allow me to add pictures unfortunately. I will also post this review to their FB page and Google. Very poor business practices. We will never recommend them nor use them again.
