As with the other reviewer, our hotel hostess suggested we try La Perla, and suggested we ask for the "menu del dia". However, we found this place completely confusing. We first tried sitting on one patio overlooking the beach, but we were told that we had to go inside to order and the whole lack of service and confusion about seating and ordering was enough to make us leave. Then we realized that there was another patio on the other side, that looked slightly more formal than the first patio. So we tried that one, but again realized we had to go inside to order.
Once inside, we were completely ignored by staff, and it was very unclear how to go about getting a meal. So we ordered a drink and one plate of tapas, took it out to the patio, and left shortly after. We never did get to experience the menu del dia, which might have been amazing. But the lack of service and attention was enough for us to decide to pass. read more
