If you're in San Sebastián, you should definitely come here for lunch and make a reservation! There is a set menu here which allows you to choose a starter, entree and dessert. It'll come with house wine (full bottle) and I believe a coffee (my husband just told him no for the both of us and I was like whyyyy cause he didn't know it came with it). For 25€, you'll leave content and probably very full. My husband and I ordered brown rice with octopus and fish soup for starter. I had a bite of his and I thought it tasted pretty good and my husband thought it was excellent - portioned well, seasoned perfectly and there's definitely no complaints on his end. My fish soup was by far, much better than the first fish soup I had in Biarritz. The color, I have to admit isn't too appetizing but taste wise, was good. It also paired well with the bread they gave us (Spain bread can't be beat. I love it.) Our second course consisted of pig feet (lol I didn't think I'd be ordering this in any restaurant aside from Chinese) and my husband got the duck with sirloin. So first, my husband thought his dish was okay. I think aside from people who normally eat pig's feet, this might seem like an odd dish because it's gelatinous and some people don't prefer it. However, it was kind of reminiscent of my childhood because I loved to eat the pig's feet my grandmother prepared (she's still alive but she no longer cooks for me). So in a way, I was definitely reminded of home. And lastly, was our overly sweet tiramisu dessert. I felt that the plate fill of caramel with some chocolate sauce sprinkled in between was a bit much and I could have done without it. My husband believed that the lady fingers were overly soggy so it wasn't as good as it could've been since they added a lot of sweet factors to counteract the bitterness of coffee. But overall, we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely visit again when we come back! read more
