We walked by this place several times going to and from the train and bus station, but it wasn't until we found ourselves out walking around late that we decided to try it for dinner. It's pretty small, and we waited about ten minutes so that we could sit at one of the four tables outside on the street. Our waiter was great, and graciously "allowed" us to order in our nascent Portuguese. We had a very nice half bottle of wine, a basket of bread, a salad, and we shared (luckily) a pot of chanfana, which was delicious and falling of the bone in its savory wine sauce. The skewers for two also looked fantastic, and are served with an unbelievable number of side dishes. There was an amazing crime brûlée with a scoop of gelato for dessert. Great food, great service, fantastic ambience (we're in Coimbra!) at a great price. Highly recommended!
