There's a good variety of it - a table of salads, a section of hot food, and (the time I ate there) some tasty chicken broth. Among the numerous items in the salad bar were a kind of cole slaw with olives, gazpacho, mango slices, pineapple slices, and pigs-ear salad. On the steam table were several kinds of meat, rice, black beans (not as good as what I had at a buffet in Lisboa, but still good. Also spinach, rice cooked in chicken blood with pieces of chicken, whole small potatoes, and eggplant topped with fresh cheese. There's more too. There's a Brazilian restaurant in the other shopping center (the Forum), but this one is better. It's also more crowded, but you can expect that for good food.

Tudo aqui é puro e fresco, incluindo as sobremesas tradicionais. This is where local families eat. They have the freshest seafood possible here, with the market being next door! Our meals of salmon were deliciously healthy and satisfying. Everything made here is pure and fresh, including the traditional desserts.

The owner and staff don't speak much English, but they were very patient with our poor Portuguese/Spanish mishmash. The menu is available with French and English translation keys, although it is extensive enough that this can be more confusing than helpful! I would recommend simply ordering from the specials list. This changes daily and offers particularly tasty food at a significant discount from the regular menu. We did this and enjoyed a fantastic Brazilian feijoada (bean stew), full of flavorful black beans, chicken, pork and beef, and served with a big plate of fresh white rice and ribbons of greens. One portion was less than 10 Euros and between two of us, we couldn't finish it. I would definitely go back if I didn't live so far away :(
