It's interior is modern but has a cozy atmosphere. If the restaurant gets full you have to be patient as only two waiters are around. I went for dinner one evening. As I hadn't much hunger and I wanted something light, I chose the arctic salmon filet on chestnut sauce, which comes with vegetables. I had a glass of wine to accompany. It became apparent that it was one of the best fish dishes since a while. The fish was well cooked and each piece of fish tasted deliciously. The chestnut sauce gave it a very nice note. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The whole meal with dessert and a glass of wine cost me 60.- CHF. Definitely a place to revisit.

As a policy, I always look for my own spots. I found this pasta place based on its high ratings, grateful it was open out of season. It is small, so it cannot accommodate very large groups, but it is an exquisitely charming spot. The atmosphere is outstanding: Swiss vibes all the way and killer music (think We're Together by Jack Johnson and Downtown by Petula Clark). In the spirit of any place who wants to master its food, they do not have 1 million options on the menu. I got the Bruschetta (their house specialty) as an appetizer, and their Fresh Pasta (Meat) option of the day which came with a sage pesto sauce and crisp bacon. My photos do not capture the depth and comfort dimensions of the flavors, but I tried! Pasta is meant to be warm and cozy and filling, and this delivered. Balanced by the delicate flavors of sage, extra-virgin olive oil, and freshly grated cheese. I rarely finish my meals and asked for the rest to go, which did not seem to bother them one bit. The service was excellent. (Even the bathroom was cute, could not help but take a picture there) A true gem!

The only critique I have is that they could have accompanied it with one additional slice of bread. As dessert I ordered chestnut , quince and scoop of ice cream in chocolate mousse. It was delightful and addictive. I chose a dessert wine to accompany both main course and dessert , which the friendly and attentive waitress recommended. We were a party of four and spent around 55.-€ each having had an aperitif, a glass of wine , a main course, dessert and coffee.

Our waiter, Tomasso, was very pleasant and quiet patient with our language barrier. He is multilingual and was speaking French German and English to various patrons.
