My favorite place to eat in Madesimo! I fell in love with their pizzocheri, hot and gooey with delicious cheese, scented with fried garlic chips and sage. This is not a dish for someone on a diet but is the perfect comfort food for a snowy day in the mountains after skiing. I tried this in several places but the pizzocheri here is by far better than anywhere else I tried.
They serve a set menu (although you don't have to get it) that comes with a large tasting of meats after the pizzocheri. There were many different types, including a whole veal shank, some stews, and cotechino, as well as some procini mushrooms and a side of cheesy polenta teragna (with buckwheat). Everything was delicious!
Everything is served family style and portions are so generous I guarantee you will not leave hungry! read more
