Very friendly service, and 2/3 dishes arrived after 15minutes. The Calzone arrived quite some time later, my two dining partners had already finished their dishes by the time I got it. The Vitello Tonato was good but difficult to judge since I haven't had anything similar for a while. The Penne alla Panna e Prosciutto was good but simple. Another 10minutes or so later I received my Calzone which was HUGE. The size of this thing blew me away, I managed to eat 2/3rds of it before surrendering. But not only size, also quality was good. Apart from the, for my taste, too many mushrooms it was one of the best Calzone I've ever had and it had no problem holding it's own against more expensive pizzas from much more upstanding restaurants. For desert we had some Tiramisu which was richer and tastier than most, but not in a fashion as for it to be too dense or have soaked weavers (weavers were on point). Bathrooms were clean and up to date too. Considering the price and considering what a small restaurant it is, both food and service were superb. Don't let the very basic terasse stop you!

This was interesting, especially if you like to learn the about some Bellinzona history. They also have a beautiful restaurant indoor and outdoor, and it is much greater experience in the summer. The outdoor is surrounded by grapes and their staff are so kind. I was shocked because the first two staff I met there in the restaurant spoke English, Italian, French, and Italian, which is amazing for tourist who come to see the beautiful country. I visited all the castles and it was a cool experience. If you also visit during the warm climate, you can catch their special movie nights they do with a big screen. Not only is it fun, you can meet great people. I appreciate that this country preserved these castles and added fun to it.

As far as a pit stop goes, they fancy…read more I've been to the crazy Marché buffet at Victoria's Peak in Hong Kong. There are also some U.S. locations. It beats the sandwiches at the gas stops in Italy. Only complaint is that they have free wifi, but you need to provide a mobile number so that they can text you a code. That was not an option for me while traveling through Western Europe... it was maddening to see free wifi but not have a local number (I had a UK number for a mobile phone that I could use throughout Western Europe).

Loved the souvenirs on the first floor- found they were much cheaper than anywhere else we stopped. Bathrooms were nice too- and no charge.
