It wasn't very busy and everyone there was Italian. The waitress didn't speak English and there was no English menu. Our meal was delightful. My husband and I each had a pasta dish. Both were delicious, simple, homestyle italian cooking with very fresh ingredients. It was the perfect first lunch on our vacation. The atmosphere is so relaxing. There is an outdoor terrace with a partial view on the lake and no one else is around because it is not located in a touristy area. Prices were excellent. I wish we could have eaten there again before we left. I definitely recommend it for those who are looking for great authentic casual Italian food. Yum!!

He and his sous chefs Jacob and Michael are true professionals. Lucca was able to adapt to our kitchen without missing a beat. For the cooking class, he taught us how to prepare: fresh pesto, handmade pasta (tagliatelle), branzzino, calamari, bruschetta, mussels and clams, and a beautiful chocolate cake. For the private dinner, he prepared: smoked tuna, octopus salad, seared fish and tiramisu. We also ate at their restaurant which was homely and very local. The menu is not in English, a good sign! Highly recommend eating at their restaurant at the very least!

Must I say, my wife and I enjoyed one of the best dinner dates in our fifteen years together. The flavors are beyond amazing, the experience so wonderful... We started with the Antipasto misto del lago, it is lake fish served three ways, was very tasty and fresh, so many different flavors packed in one dish..followed with the Zuppa di pesce which was one of the best seafood soups I've tasted in my life, its contents so tender and with the perfect spice, simply AMAZING.. My main course was the Filetto al pepe verde, meat was juicy and perfectly cooked medium rare, had a nice sauce with small peppers, melts as you begin to chew...She had the Filetti di lavarello (grilled lake fish) was perfectly seasoned, was cooked to perfection, great tasting fish. We shared a side of rosemary potatoes, and Wow, even these were out of this world. Finished off with some Grappa and Limoncello...Memorable meal in this beautiful small village by the lake. The value of the food was worth so much more than what we paid. Service was attentive and courteous. They were playing some nice soul music, very relaxing atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in this planet indeed..

I had a Greek salad and my husband had the fresh fish of the day which happened to be sea bream. Both dishes were plated beautifully and tasted terrific. The staff is also very friendly.

We found this restaurant through Google Reviews and generally had high hopes, but were blown away by the experience. We ordered salads to share, drinks, and pasta before a tiramisu - I went for a seafood pasta (see pictures) and negroni. We definitely could have avoided getting the two salads; portions were massive and we ended up not finishing either salad. My main course was delicious. The pasta had a zesty, fresh flavor between the lemon, olive oil, parsley and tomato, but the welcome surprise was seeing mounds of mussels, clams and shrimp inside the dish (I'm from New York and expected maybe 10 total) that took me almost 5 minutes to deshell before I went to town on it. Cocktails were excellent - hard to see from the photos but huge and delicious. Resulted in a great midday buzz. Limoncello spritz was also good but perhaps too strong for a lunchtime drink. Other courses ordered: - Lamb ravioli - Had 1-2 bites and tasted good, but probably a 3.5-4. Not really up to my palate and compared to my own entree, hard to beat :) - Carbonara - Solid. Incredibly rich and this was an entree where the large portions actually hurt more than helped - Salads - Hard to tell bc I was full of pasta Minor ding if anything is the ambiance. It's a block or so away from the crazy shore of Como but still was getting a bit loud by the time we left. Not a real complaint and didn't affect our experience, but if you're looking for a more quiet and relaxed experience you might want to go to a less touristy area. Thank you for a lovely meal!
