We've been in Lugano a week, and we were thrilled to end our stay on such a high note - the food here was amazing. For our first courses I had some kind of tagliatelle with truffle oil and butter and herbs - every bite was heaven. My husband had the mini pumpkin purses, which sounds weird but was divine (see photo). Main course - we both had the sea bass special; it was cooked to perfection and the flavorful, tender potatoes and perfectly cooked fennel complimented it beautifully. Our desserts also blew us away - I had the house made lemon cream with fresh strawberries and it might be my favorite dessert I have EVER had. Husband had the mille feuille hazelnut pastry dessert with figs and it was outstanding. Service was just the right speed, friendly, and gave us the best food recs (Stephan I believe was his name, from Sardinia). We are just so thrilled to end our trip this way; we will definitely come back again in 2 years, next time they do the conference we were here for. read more
