It was my first visit to this lovely, clean, and upstanding Mexican restaurant located right at the border of San Leandro and Oakland on E.14th St. the lunch was delicious and well presented. My combo of pork enchilada, pork tamale, and chicken flauta was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was kind and attentive upon our arrival as we sat down and brought us salsa and chips which was fire! My bf ordered the super steak wet burrito and we couldn't believe the size of it! To top it off he said there was no fat or gristle in the meat which made it more enjoyable. I ate all my food in appreciation of the wonderful hands of the chef who prepared it. I will definitely return to try more dishes and cannot wait to be overwhelmingly satisfied. Give them a try, and thank me later!

Steak 6. Enchiladas Verdes, tamale, rice & beans

Our first time here for lunch, it was recommended by my yoga practitioner. We were greeted with chips and salsa, yum! Hubby had the tamale and crispy steak taco with rice & tasty beans. I had the steak enchilada and tamale with rice and beans. Both entrees came out piping hot on large rectangular platters. I asked for the mole, that's why we stopped by and it was bueno. We'll stop by to try additional dishes when we're in the area. Bonus ~ the ceiling was an architectural feature IMHO, gotta see it. Oh, there's a off strret parking lot in the rear of the business. Bon appetite

Chili Verde Burrito w/ chili verde sauce on top.

Been to this place twice now for lunch and it just gets better and better. I ordered the Chili Verde burrito the first time and it was delicious. Big chunks of pork that melts in your mouth in a tasty green sauce. It was pretty big but I managed to eat it all. A couple weeks later I went back, craving the chili verde. This time the burrito was huge! I can put it down but this time I only managed to eat half. Make sure to ask for the hottest hot sauce they have if you like spicy food. They have an orange sauce made from habeneros that is lit! The place is clean and well kept and the staff is super friendly. Parking lot is in back and it's pretty small so maybe look for a spot on the street.

As a traveler frequently to Oakland and stuck in a hotel, the final meal each time after the rental car is dropped off is always a challenge. I generally detest Door Dash as I prefer to dine in for freshness and quality...but sometimes you have to Door Dash. This last trip I chose a meal from these guys to eat while I watched TV. I didn't see any social posts that showed just how large the Super Burrito is so I shared with Yelp community. For fellow travelers, the burrito was wrapped in tin foil twice tightly in order to keep it as fresh as possible.

Wow was I surprised as the high quality of the food. We shared devil eggs, the sticky dry fried ribs and a salad. Oh my was it an epicurean delight. The food was served timely and tasty. The servers were kind and knowledgeable recommending the menus specialities and I was not disappointed. The drinks were above board and mixed to perfection. This is another San Leandro hidden jewel. The atmosphere was so inviting. Warm and calm, whether you were seated inside or out, you felt comfortable. There was nothing on the menus I would not recommend and the portions are not skimpy. I recommend you order different items so you can share and sample many of the items on the menu. Given the economic climate, the prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my dining experience so much, my husband and I went there 3 days later and was not disappointed and he is somewhat selective. Those I have recommended this restaurant to, have enjoyed their experience also. I highly recommend you try it out and put it on your list of regular favorites. Bon appetite!

Personally, this bar wouldn't make my top 50 list, but for some crazy reason they're loyal to it, so I show up for them. Recently, I've popped in a bit more and wow, the "changes." They finally made an Instagram, which got me excited for a second--maybe they were stepping it up. Nope. Just like everything else here, it's inconsistent. They post food specials, I come in ready to spend money, and... no food. Overheard it was a management issue. Shocking. Then there's the alcohol selection--or lack thereof. I'm not even a big drinker, and I have a better bar setup at home. Half the time they're out of basics, or waiting on the owner to maybe, someday, bring more. Call yourself a bar? More like BYOB and hope for the best. I'll give credit where it's due: I've met some cool people here, and they're the only thing keeping this place alive. But even they seem tired of the chaos. I heard this is the oldest bar in San Leandro, and honestly, I'm amazed it's still standing. Must be sheer luck or nostalgia, because it's definitely not management. Two stars because I don't hate the regulars--but let's be real, if this place wants to survive, it needs way more than an Instagram and a prayer.

The QR ordering system was down the day that we were there so they were taking orders at the bar. The energy was incredible, and you could really feel how excited everyone was to be there cheering on the team. One thing I really liked was that instead of having one giant screen, they had multiple TVs throughout the bar, making it easy to catch the game no matter where you were sitting. There was also a DJ keeping the crowd energized, playing music and hyping everyone up during the match, which added so much to the atmosphere. The bar itself was really nice, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how great the overall vibe was. They have a taqueria inside and even though I didn't eat on this visit, the food I saw coming out to nearby tables looked delicious, and several dishes definitely caught my eye. I'll definitely be back to try the food for myself and will update my review afterward. A heads-up that the parking lot is a little small, but there is plenty of street parking nearby, so it wasn't a problem. The space itself isn't huge, but that's part of what made the atmosphere feel lively, energetic, and welcoming.
