They remind me so much of the shrimp & crab enchiladas Mexicali (Rose) used to have--and if you know, you know! The shrimp tacos are bomb too! The food is flavorful, the drinks are really good, and even the drink decorations are a nice touch. The service is always great--everyone is friendly, welcoming, and greets you with a smile. I walked in around 1pm on a Wednesday and was seated immediately. The server was really kind and attentive. The inside looked nice too! There was a loaded menu and everything sounded good. After reading the lunch menu and the regular menu, I got the burrito ahogado with al pastor and 1/2 green sauce 1/2 red sauce. It might be one of the best wet burritos I've ever had. I think I preferred the green sauce, but both tasted great. I don't live in the area to visit often, but I will definitely come back again when in the East Bay! read more

Tequila grill Super burrito: choice of meat, I asked their recommendation and it was steak. Wait time wasnt too long. It was a huge burrito cut in half to be presentable with green sauce on side. I personally dont need it to be that pretty but I dont mind as long as its good. It was good. The steak was chewy but not too chewy, tortillas was slightly thicker and chewier than my experience with burritos still good. Even got cheese pulls Chips and salsa: all you can eat chips and salsa as always. Its not a true mexican place without free chips and salsa. Delicious, they got white and black chips. Black is slightly chewier than white chips. Slightly spicy but still tailored towards a broader demographic (wasnt that spicy). U can ask for refills ofc. Extra Came in, at tuesday 2pm. Such a big restaurant lots of empty chairs but got like 2-3 parties eating at booths Come in, option of booth or tables, I chose booth (couch with table connected to wall) I asked for water, water had ice, I asked for straw and she already had it on hand ha ha. The menus on this yelp are pretty outdated, Sorry no pic of menu, from memory, most of the foods are above 20$ each. They had a small menu (which is where burrito is) and those seemed cheaper. Tacos for 5$, burritos around 15-19$ Take out box was a circular tin foil pie shaped box with a lid. Once u pack it up, u bend the sides so the lid doesnt come off. I had to have the waiter teach me ha ha I love burritos, this one specifically didnt wow me, actually thought the pretty presentation made me think, looks arent everything, good burrito. Chips and salsa always a plus, but also isnt a new concept either. Decided to give Tequila Grill another try instead of drying into the city! So glad I did! The food was so delicious! I got a ground beef taco and a side of chili edamame and my son got the kid's quesadilla! It was all amazing. I could come here just for the complimentary chips and salsa. I came here after a long day at work hoping to have some good food . I was mistaken o got the fajitas with rib eye instead of the regular cut it was unseasoned fat not even seared. I had to put so much salt on it to even taste anything . I wanted to touch the cast iron just to even feel something. We also got the queso fundido and although we didn't get chorizo they gave us our just cheese and it was completely burnt. My partner got the combo plate with chile relleno and enchiladas the sauce was bland thin and runny. Chile relleno was dense like a brick Beans had no flavor rice was bland thin even the avocado was the pre mashed pack not even the chunky one. To say this was so disappointing would be an understatement. Our server was reallly nice but I spent a $100+ dollars and I regret it! Every time I come here I feel they have updated and renovated the restaurant, it has gotten modern and more well put together each time. The waitress was very attentive and also very kind when we had made an order mistake. She allowed us to exchange our order no issues whatsoever. I ordered a burrito which was absolutely delicious. Someone likes Christian Nodal, haha. The food is alright. My boyfriend enjoyed their agua chile, but I found the chicken they used in their mole enchiladas didn't go well with their mole. We recently visited the Tequila Bar & Grill in Dublin, and this weekend we thought we'd try their San Leandro location. We were not disappointed! Of course we loaded up on oysters - both raw and cooked. Same cooked oyster flavor options as the Dublin location, and at Ocean Oyster Bar & Grill in Union City, their sister restaurant. So yummy. I really think if I had to pick just one food to live on for the rest of my life, it would be oysters, lol. Service was excellent. Very friendly, enthusiastic, attentive staff, so refreshing to see. Luis took great care of us! Great vibe all around, with happy customers too. Nice, spacious restaurant, this would be a good place to host a party. We will return. read more

We have been to the location in Dublin a few times as well as their sister restaurant in Union City, Ocean Oyster Bar and Grill. (And why are they called sister restaurants. Why not brothers, partners or step kids?????) All 3 locations are great. It's nice to have this one closer to home when we get the oysters urge, which is all the time!!!! So the address is on 14th but we turn on Estudillo and park in the nice big parking lot and use the back door. The oysters are always very fresh and it usually a 2 dozen hit or more before we get out of there along with the cooked oysters. The cooked ones are great, maybe stay away from the Diabla unless you can handle the heat. Really, bring the fire extinguisher. A really nice chill environment for oysters and other food and a drink in San Leandro. read more

This place may have the worst Mexican food I have had in the East Bay. The serve enchiladas with diced chicken. The sauce was terrible. The food felt like it was made with zero love or care. The chips and salsa were good. The waitress was good but the food left me feeling terrible about the money we spent on the bill. The big miss is the sauce they use on the chili relleno and enchiladas. Its just awful. The taco meat was even worse. It was dry, overcooked and lacked any flavor. Such a disappointing food experience. I had been once before and the guacamole was good at happy hour. Even that seemed to have changed. The guacamole on this visit had the taste and texture if the prebought you would pick up at a grocery store. And the prices are crazy high. No bueno!!! We wont be back. read more

This place is incredible for its Mexican food. The chef has an excellent presentation but then backs it up with the tastes and quantity of food. I have tried several items and will keep going back.
