Lovely restaurant ran by a wife (hostess) & husband (chef). The care they put into the place is obvious from the selection of the decor & the pride with which the hostess explained each of the dishes. Appreciated the fact that she was not snooty nor condescending. Also appreciated the inventiveness of the dishes - standouts were the beef & the lamb. Some of the dishes seemed a little similar after a while either because of the ingredients used or the way the dish was prepared. There is no outdoor seating but the large window made the dining area felt light & airy. Minor quibble & not the fault of the restaurant. There was a couple seated in the middle of the dining area who were on their first date & they were very loud. We were able to hear their whole Tinder journey from beginning to end. Thank goodness they left before our first dish arrived :-) The place can be very romantic but be mindful of the other diners and contribute to the overall atmosphere by having quieter conversations. read more
