Straight local joint. Small place (maybe 12-14 tables. Classic Mexican breakfast and lunches served. All family run. The grandmother is pressing tortillas all day (corn or my preference flour), and made to order eggs, tacos, enchilada etc. I went with the guac which comes with your choice of chips or tortillas and salsa. Was okay. The carne asada tacos come three to a plate, street taco size, and a cafe. Was simple solid food. The ambiance was great. I would have preferred the guac was more ripened, the salsa hotter and fresher, and cream for coffee instead of the dehydrated stuff. The waitstaff was respectful and had a friendly vibe. I originally gave this a three star review but after scooping out some of the other places mentioned here I think this place with its authenticity, real food, and family vibe. read more
