Neat little place in the middle of nowhere. The menu is huge so we had a lot to consider! I got a combo plate with the turkey tostada and the mango fish taco. Both were just okay, I wish I would've gotten something else. My father in law LOVED the chili rellenos. Service was friendly. A little slow at times but they were fairly busy since it was the during most people's Christmas vacations. I'd definitely give this place another chance! The Blueberry Burrito alone will keep me coming back.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I'd say it's the best Mexican food I have ever had. DEFINITELY try their chimichanga. I have never seen it fried so deliciously anywhere. Their green enchilada sauce (vegetarian) is so delicious and thick. I like to get it on the side and pour it on the chimichanga myself. For vegan, I get the chimichanga with their refried beans and whole beans (both vegetarian) and ask for veggie fajitas. Rice has chicken stock. They have tortillas with or without lard available and the ones without lard are delicious. Their tamales are super delicious too-- I had the vegan calabacitas tamale, they also have vegan green corn. I like the the service staff knows about ingredients or are happy to check. The atmosphere outside on lovely patio is peaceful and Coco the sweet cat comes to say hi :)

I love Wisdom's! I was first told about it when I moved to the Green Valley/Sahuarita area back in 2017. I became a regular customer, getting together with my friends several times a month. The food is very good, the staff are all very friendly and cheerful and the ambiance is fun, like the authentic old west. By the way..Ribs Night is terrific! Ribs that are nicely seasoned and fall off the bone. Try the Tequila Sea Salt ice cream for dessert. You will quickly become a big fan. Whether talking to Herb, Celeste or Cliff, you will always be greeted with a smile and leave well fed. Enjoy....we alway

We had a great evening at wisdoms last night, live music and great margaritas. Mary Hixom is a wonderful meal along with the cheese crisp. Highly recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday night with live music!

If you are a margarita lover, you need to give Wisdom's Cafe a try! The margaritas are strong and flavorful - we tried each flavor at our table and were impressed with all. The food was authentic and delicious - I had the chili relleno and our table agreed that it was one of the best any of us had had before.

The food was really good. We went there because a Tubac local told us is a local favorite. They did not disappoint

Do you have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu? Or can you suggest a dish that your kitchen can convert easily - for example a mushroom or calabacita fajita or enchilada, or even as filling to sub for meat in burrito? Thanks for your consideration

I quickly Noticed how super clean this Italian restaurant was & so were the restrooms. It's a very big restaurant everything is highly organized with attention to details. The atmosphere very warm and friendly. Our hostess greeted us and and sat us down so Kind of her. We looking at our menu, when Bryan approached us, asked if we had any questions. I did , he answered them beautifully! They have so many choices to choose from. They have pastas, soups & salads, appetizers, house traditions, chef's specials, pizzas, hero's, burgers, and desserts! Their price points are spot on and for amount of food it's Amazing !! Our waiter Bryan was very polite, wonderful, kind, caring, sweet, super down to earth. He has this positive energy about himself that really radiates! He is your Shining Star!! His shine never fades!! We ordered Bolognese, and Traditional Cheese 12" with 2 sodas. The dishes are so delicious. Bryan also made sure if we needed anything, he was on it! I would like to Thank the Staff at The Italian Peasant for being so warm & friendly! I would love to especially Thank Bryan for making our visit so memorable! We will definitely be back again! I'll tell all my Family Friends to visit here !

I could not stop looking at this very large table. I wish the employees new the story behind it in terms of age and who made it. Our greeter was friendly and helpful. I enjoy the atmosphere as orange is my favorite color. The pizza with steak was larger than we anticipated and I thought it was even better the next day. My wife enjoyed her half meatball parmigiana sandwich and fries. The place was clean and our server was friendly. I would eat here again.

It's family friendly and has been a tradition for breakfasts, birthdays for many locals since it opened in 1937. It's also the best place in town for a sitting -at- the- bar drink and conversation. The food has varied over the decades (I'm now in my 70s) but I'm still a fan. The burger and Mexican food has remained primo. The bartenders are locals who most often know their customers and treat pretty much everyone like neighbors. Saturday Karoke nights are my favorite as unexpectedly talented residents take to the mic and change your image of them forever. I think the Wagon Wheel has been written up in the New York Times twice. As one of the last originals it deserves all the attention it gets. To go to Patagonia and not check out the Wagon Wheel Saloon is just a cryin' shame.

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.
