The 1-Michelin Star, "Kitchen" offers a contemporary spin on Italian cuisine, and what a treat it was for us to dine here whilst on vacation in Lake Como. Only two words are needed to describe this one of a kind gastronomic experience - Just Wow.
Occupying a standalone structure near the Sheraton Hotel, the restaurant's spacious and modern design mirrors the luxurious finesse reflected in each meticulously crafted course. We opted for the "blind" tasting menu, where we embarked on a culinary journey where the chef's creations surpassed all our expectations.
Our server and the chef also went above and beyond to give us the best experience. As we chatted with our server, we shared our fondness for Foie Gras, particularly the fact that we come from California where it is impossible to procure at even the finest dining establishments. To our delight, the chef concocted a bespoke experience, weaving foie gras into nearly every course, showcasing a remarkable fusion of creativity and thoughtfulness. From the Foie Gras "Cherry" to the indulgent Foie Gras Ravioli and the captivating Seared Foie Gras on pigeon, each dish was an unparalleled work of art. I was completely blown away.
