You can't beat the location on the main walkway with a view of the water in Bellagio, however the staff was not very accommodating. We were seated right on the edge of the patio which was fine until it started raining. We were getting wet so asked to be reseated at one of their open patio tables or even indoors but they refused. Instead they moved our table literally two inches in, which crowded another table and we were still getting rained on. I will say their desserts were plated beautifully and tasted fantastic, so if it weren't for the unhelpful staff, I'd be giving a higher rating. read more

We stopped in mid day for desert, I would not take a table during meal time for a small order. Ordered our food unfortunately it started raining g and we were on the edge of the patio. Getting soaked we asked for a table inside. We were refused and our table was moved two inches. Now I'm sitting on a wet cushion desert arrives it was fin I had a cocktail as well. We arrived in Bellagio around lunchtime and were recommended Suisse Restaurant as the place to go -- especially for their white fish. And wow, we're so glad we went! We were seated right away by their kind and helpful staff, and the lakeside setting couldn't have been more perfect -- fresh lake air and beautiful views of Lake Como right from the table made for a relaxing, scenic meal. While being seated, I noticed someone nearby had an incredible-looking steak that wasn't even on the menu. I asked about it and ended up ordering the same -- and let me just say: one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life (and I've had a lot of steaks ). Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, juicy, and unforgettable. We also ordered the white fish, which was also off-menu and came highly recommended -- it did not disappoint. Super fresh, beautifully flaky, and seasoned just right. The pasta with lobster was another win. We're usually a little cautious ordering lobster at places we haven't tried, as it can sometimes come out overly fishy -- but not here. It was clean, fresh, and exactly how lobster should taste, paired with well-balanced seasoning. From the food to the service to the gorgeous lakeside view, Suisse was everything we were hoping for and more. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Bellagio. We ate here for lunch today in Bellagio while we overlooked Lake Como. It had a beautiful ambience as you're sitting there looking out at the water, Lake Como. The service was OK, but nothing all that special. For my meal, my wife and I shared the champagne risotto, and it was really good. I tried some of my son's Margherita pizza and I thought it was pretty solid for pizzas in Italy. It is a little pricey but not bad overall. read more

You may think that restaurants along the busy waterfront in Bellagio might not be as good as the more "hidden gems." But this one was nothing short of stellar! Wait until 830, which is when the top deck opens (at least in the summer). It's quite a perch! The fettuccine prepared table side in the wheel of aged Parmesan is a fun spectacle. Our visit to Ristorante Suisse on October 22, 2025, was extremely disappointing. The hostess, who that day was wearing a burgundy sweater without a name badge (we never learned his name) and who was distributing the menus, seated us at a table without informing us about an additional charge. On top of that, a tip was charged to our card without our consent, and it was not listed on the receipt. When we asked for clarification, the hostess became angry and refused to speak with us. He also refused to return my phone, which I had previously put on charge. I asked to speak with the manager, but he ignored my request and pretended not to hear me. I eventually found the manager myself, but she did not provide us with the employee's name and refused to listen to our complaints as tourists. It gives the impression that the restaurant is focused solely on the flow of tourists. They don't care whether you return or not. The treatment of tourists is very rude. We, of course, will not be returning. read more

Ugh, NO. We went here for dinner tonight knowing it wouldn't be great (tourist trap on the water that is actually open for those of us not wanting to eat at 10:00 pm at night), but it ended up being far worse than anticipated. Service is slow. Not Italian slow, just like SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. We practically had to tackle somebody to get our check by the end of the meal. We had to ask for a spoon (for soup!!!) no fewer than four times. They were looking around for steak knives as though they were on a manhunt because, apparently, this is such a unique request--forgive us for wanting to cut our meat! But to start: the aperol spritzes tasted flat. We do have to say that we enjoyed the grilled octopus starter dish that was served with bacon and olives; the octopus was tender and we all agreed it was really good. The minestrone soup was salty and the vegetables were mushy, as was the random piece of bread soaking in the middle of the bowl (just why?). Our daughter had ordered her lamb chops medium, and after cutting into one of them, the meat was literally raw-looking bright red and when we asked to have it sent back, they brought it into the kitchen, and then brough it out again and had the nerve to say "yes, this is medium." OMG LOL Are you f-ing kidding??? The other two (smaller pieces) turned out to be medium, sure, but the first one was barely cooked and we could not even believe how obnoxious the guy was about it. The white fish dish surrounding prawns did had an awful fishy taste to it, so we doubt the ingredients were very fresh. The veal wrapped around parma ham dish the grandfather got was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. The horrible, no-good, terrible service leaves us with warm two-star warm fuzzy feelings (personally speaking, one of us thinks it should be one star, but she lost this time). Please, spend your euros elsewhere, especially considering the price point. Trust us. read more

When food is done right, everybody wins! The food here is fantastic, their risotto is the best in town. The waitstaff were a little bit on the uppity side but hey--it was still good service, they spoke great english, this is a tourist town after all, and everything on the menu seemed well thought out. Our hotel is 10 steps away from a splendid family run restaurant named Suisse where we dined on fresh mozzarella and roasted veggies, had table side constructed fettuccine Alfredo (meet my new best friend in the video below ), salt encrusted sea bass (which was so generous and tender - melted in our mouths!!), and a glass of Chianti. This place delighted all of the senses of these two very weary travelers . We were lured in by the amazing live samba/jazz band as we arrived at our hotel adjacent. It's rare back home to waltz in to a high end dining experience at 10 o'clock at night and just eat, talk, and be entertained Al fresco in one of the most romantic places on earth. This is definitely the way to do it. Can't wait to explore some more on foot and by boat - with utensils ready! read more

Although guests are paying more for the view for a restaurant in that area, we were still disappointed of the quality of food. We ordered a charr dish and two ravioli dishes. The fish and the fillings in the ravioli did not taste fresh. The waitor also was confused about what dishes we ordered. Food was good, but the slip-ups in timing and service spoiled the evening. We were a group of 6, with reservations. We were seated quite promptly, and bread was placed on the table, but no bread plates. After asking twice for plates, our poor waitress placed 6 large dinner plates on the table. Wine was slow to arrive and then sat unopened on the table until we requested it be opened. Too many slip-ups to repeat. 5 of the 6 of us were served, but no explanation or apology for no food for the 6th (me). 10 minutes later, I finally was served after we asked. This restaurant was one of my favorites in Bellagio. We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary here and the staff were very accommodating. We got a beautiful table outside but a few minutes in, it started sprinkling so they moved us indoors. The food was delicious- I had lasagna and my husband had seafood mix- everything was sublime. We visited Hotel Suisse restaurant on 15.09.2023 at 20:30 pm. What a horrible experience. The place is fancy but the service doesn't reflect that. The whole experience was very disappointing. The servers ignore you and treat you badly. I think they only pay attention if you order wine or if you're a pretty girl. We have to flag down the servers multiple times, and they always look annoyed. The person that took our order in the beginning was a short older gentleman with white hair. He made unnecessary comments when we didn't order wine, and my husband asked for the types of beer they have. He said, "this is a wine place, we only have one beer". That was the only time he actually went to our table. He didn't come back to our table again. His comments were really uncalled for and mocking. The guy that mixed the fettuccini Alfredo in the cheese wheel at our table also looked very annoyed that he had to do that. He didn't even look at us as he did it. The only servers that were actually pleasant were the young girl with curly hair and glasses. Also, the tall older gentleman with white hair. At the end, they made so many mistakes in our bill. Of course how can they not when they didn't pay attention. The only good thing was it was near our hotel and it's by the lake. The food portion was also really small. I guess they can afford to act like this because tourist will still go to their restaurant because of the location, regardless of the very poor experience. read more

Very disappointed in dinner here. We had made reservations, when we arrived we asked for a table outside and were told they were all taken. We again requested outside and were told there is nothing they could do as he promptly walked away! I counted 5 tables for 2 that were empty, most were empty for our entire time there. We sat in a doorway with the staff constantly challenged to get by. Was difficult to find a wait person. Wait was much too long and took away from the experience. The wait continued at every step throughout the mean. When we did get a server, no personality, just took our orders and offered nothing else. Table was not properly set, had to ask for a place setting, had to ask for olive oil for the bread. Food was barely passable, neither of us finished our meals, ordered no desert and left. Restaurant added a 10 Euro cuperto to bill and also looked for a tip. You can do better in Bellagio. We will not go back here again read more

Came here with my family. We did not have a reservation but told we could eat inside which we had no issue. They gave us two menus even though there were 5 of us. He said they are busy, no problem we can share the two menus. After 20 mins we tried to wave someone down to order, it was like we were invisible. 40 minutes later we got up and left and as we left they thanked us for coming like we just dropped 1000 euros. read more

If you like foie gras, this is your place! They have a dish of freshly made pappardelle topped with mushrooms, goose liver, and olive oil. Oh yes. I was slurping every last drop from my bowl. And the lasagna? No tomato sauce! It was a white béchamel sauce between layers, very creamy, without a tomato in sight. Not your traditional lasagna, but yummy nonetheless. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Save yourself the money and randomly pick any other place and I'm sure it will be better. It's a money hungry tourist trap. Got this recommendation from a local in Bellagio. Normally I like to try as many restaurants and foods as possible on my trips abroad, however we liked this place so much we came back again the very next night! The fettuccine Parmesan was absolutely to die for. The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke very good English. The ambiance fits a wide variety of meals, from very romantic to casual fine dining. When we return to Bellagio, we will certainly make at least one trip back to Suisse. read more

Watery and served luke warm with pomodoro pasta instead of fettuccini. They mix it in a big wheel of cheese before plating it, making you think it will be amazing. Then ask if you would like pepper or truffle like offering you some Parmesan on top only to charge you more for the truffle than the meal itself without telling you it's an extra fee. We waited around twenty minutes for water and wine refills each time we emptied our glasses, with plenty of looks but no action from our servers.
