We arrived in Bellagio around lunchtime and were recommended Suisse Restaurant as the place to go -- especially for their white fish. And wow, we're so glad we went! We were seated right away by their kind and helpful staff, and the lakeside setting couldn't have been more perfect -- fresh lake air and beautiful views of Lake Como right from the table made for a relaxing, scenic meal. While being seated, I noticed someone nearby had an incredible-looking steak that wasn't even on the menu. I asked about it and ended up ordering the same -- and let me just say: one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life (and I've had a lot of steaks ). Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, juicy, and unforgettable. We also ordered the white fish, which was also off-menu and came highly recommended -- it did not disappoint. Super fresh, beautifully flaky, and seasoned just right. The pasta with lobster was another win. We're usually a little cautious ordering lobster at places we haven't tried, as it can sometimes come out overly fishy -- but not here. It was clean, fresh, and exactly how lobster should taste, paired with well-balanced seasoning. From the food to the service to the gorgeous lakeside view, Suisse was everything we were hoping for and more. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Bellagio. Highly recommend this spot -- don't miss it if you're in the area!

Beautiful restaurant by Lake Como. Our server was so nice and gave us amazing recommendations! Everything we ordered was delicious.

We ate here for lunch today in Bellagio while we overlooked Lake Como. It had a beautiful ambience as you're sitting there looking out at the water, Lake Como. The service was OK, but nothing all that special. For my meal, my wife and I shared the champagne risotto, and it was really good. I tried some of my son's Margherita pizza and I thought it was pretty solid for pizzas in Italy. It is a little pricey but not bad overall.

American tourist trap. Full of Americans getting fettuccine *eye roll* If you love Olive Garden, you may like this place. But, if you are experienced with Italian cuisine, this is incredibly disappointing. Shockingly bland food, greasy, and borderline inedible. Pasta had a good texture to it, that's why 2 stars instead of one. We ultimately just left it on the table barely touched. The fish was too tough to even cut through. Had a few bites and left it. Also, two staff straight up told us the pizza was not good. What a waste of time and money, especially on a short trip. Skip!

You may think that restaurants along the busy waterfront in Bellagio might not be as good as the more "hidden gems." But this one was nothing short of stellar! Wait until 830, which is when the top deck opens (at least in the summer). It's quite a perch! The fettuccine prepared table side in the wheel of aged Parmesan is a fun spectacle. AND YOU CAN ADD SHAVED TRUFFLE!! The lake fish dishes are exceptional. The beef is fabulous as well. Prepare for a leisurely evening as service is arranged as such.

Mixed seafood. There's no garlic butter like the menu says.

Cute restaurant looking over lake Como. Very interesting things on the menu such as steak with duck liver and truffles. I ordered the octopus with Burrata and bacon. Delicious! The mixed seafood was ok. Small portion for 50 euro and some fish wasn't fresh. Waiters were not very friendly.

When food is done right, everybody wins! The food here is fantastic, their risotto is the best in town. The waitstaff were a little bit on the uppity side but hey--it was still good service, they spoke great english, this is a tourist town after all, and everything on the menu seemed well thought out. Restaurant has an outside seating for the summer time and indoor seating was great with dressed up tables and wide selection of vino. Good food and experience all in all.

Our hotel is 10 steps away from a splendid family run restaurant named Suisse where we dined on fresh mozzarella and roasted veggies, had table side constructed fettuccine Alfredo (meet my new best friend in the video below ), salt encrusted sea bass (which was so generous and tender - melted in our mouths!!), and a glass of Chianti. This place delighted all of the senses of these two very weary travelers . We were lured in by the amazing live samba/jazz band as we arrived at our hotel adjacent. It's rare back home to waltz in to a high end dining experience at 10 o'clock at night and just eat, talk, and be entertained Al fresco in one of the most romantic places on earth. This is definitely the way to do it. Can't wait to explore some more on foot and by boat - with utensils ready!

Although guests are paying more for the view for a restaurant in that area, we were still disappointed of the quality of food. We ordered a charr dish and two ravioli dishes. The fish and the fillings in the ravioli did not taste fresh. The waitor also was confused about what dishes we ordered. Like some other restaurants in the area, they have a cover charge of 5 euro/ppl.

A bit of a wait but to be expected on Easter Monday! Delicious lunch and just what we were looking for on this quick trip to Bellagio. I was disappointed that the Risotto has a 2 person minimum order because I was really looking forward to it, but my ravioli was a good back up. Overall a lovely place with a great view.

    Amazing view!

The particular alley it was on was not as bustling as the others and the outdoor tables looked inviting as we passed by. We ended up dining inside, where we could be seated immediately. The decor was impressive and fun. We went with a local buckwheat noodle dish (pizzoccheri), which had a very unique and earthy flavor. Recommended to grind fresh pepper on it before enjoying. Worth trying if you're adventurous and want to familiarize yourself with the cuisine of the Valtellina valley. We also had a more classic red sauce pasta (lasagne al ragù di carne). Very thin, light, and elegant noodles in both dishes. An excellent portion size for lunch. Service was attentive and outstanding. We ended up getting seated right at the edge of the vine-covered terrace overlooking the beautiful Salita Serbelloni which just gave such a romantic vibe overall. All of the food we had was phenomenal. We started with the roasted octopus and potato gnocchi, both of which were very tasty with great flavors. The octopus was cooked perfectly, and I also loved the ragu sauce that went with the gnocchi. Then, my fiance and I had their fish of the day which they cook up in front of you, and it was served with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes. This was absolutely delicious -- the fish was tender and so fresh!

I think partly it was that our general online research offered a lunch menu that was a la carte, but they only had a prefix menu when we were dining there. In the end, I personally feel like this is more 3.5 stars, and what made it just shy of 4 stars was that the prefix menu felt like a cash grab. The dishes themselves were hit or miss (eg the cacio e pepe dish was subpar and the flavor wasn't great) but we had a beef tartare that was pretty good!

What a beautiful setting and the day was warm and sunny. We each ordered a glass of wine, and then scoured the menu, finally settling on a pasta dish for one, pizza for the other one, and Mr. Bee and I split a pizza. When in Italy one must have as much pizza as you can. Each is different, but never a bad one. I have to say, the pizza was the best we had on the trip. The crust was light and crunchy, but tender. The sauce was simple but incredible. The mushrooms and prosciutto were the icing on the pie. The service was friendly and fast. We absolutely loved our lunch at this little eatery.

We sampled local cuisine and shopped our hearts out before returning to our villa on the shore of Lake Como. However... upon reflection, a more accurate memory features a very sweaty Nico hobbling on blistered feet, sans Clooney, in desperate need of shade and refreshment. Now that I recall, Forma e Gusto came into my life at a perfect moment in time. Tucked in between several buildings, under a lush canopy of leaves, Forma e Gusto offers respite on a hot summer day. The restaurant offers intimate indoor seating, as well as several tables lining the covered alley. Be sure to check out the charming outdoor bar as well. Their menu offers most of the usual dishes found on Lake Como, with a few surprises thrown in. I ordered the Ravioli di Pesce di Lago, buttery raviolis filled with trout and goat cheese. I made the right choice! I've since tried to replicate this deliciousness at home and have failed spectacularly! The restaurant's raviolis were the result of locally sourced ingredients skillfully prepared by someone with years of experience. I have vivid sense memory of those remarkable raviolis; I hope to one day taste them again. I was only in Bellagio for a single afternoon, and didn't have the opportunity to dine elsewhere. It's possible there are restaurants more deserving of your attention, however Forma e Gusto came to my rescue with their delicious food and outstanding customer service. (Roberto deserves an award for his ability to effortlessly multitask, and to describe the menu items poetically. He's no George Clooney, but he's a gem for sure!)
