Huge burritos here!
Diana R.

Breakfast burritos served all day, right next to Target?! Yes please! I've been shopping at this Target for years, never ventured around the corner till today and so glad I did! Found this cute dine-in or take-out restaurant that serves delicious, huge burritos (among many other yummy looking meals). Very courteous, helpful gentleman took my order and also seemed to be the host, server, and maybe even other roles. Plenty of parking, convenient location. Will be back for sure!

Combo plate with two shredded beef and a carne asada taco.

I'm always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food. We visit Vegas 2-3 times a year and this was our first time here. It definitely will be on our favorites from now to eternity. I loved the homey and cozy decor. Being from California, we know what good Mexican food is all about and have high expectations. I ordered the Chile verde wet burrito and my husband ordered a combo plate with a carne asada taco and enchiladas. He loved his plate but we both agreed that my burrito was the star of the show! Such a perfect blend of spice, fluffy rice, beans all wrapped in a homemade tortilla. Homemade chips and salsa to start also were wonderful. Pure perfection! Service was friendly and made us feel welcome. We are even stopping back in on our way home to try the breakfast. Don't overlook this gem!

Shrimp Diablo! (Best I ever had!)
Joyce T.

This is what I envisioned an authentic Mexican restaurant to be. Very friendly lady server. All the patrons on my visit were speaking Spanish. Most dishes may be on the spicier side but they do have more milder plates, just ask if you are sensitive to spice-heat. I had the best shrimp Diablo ever. So much plump, large and clean shrimp. The sauce was so flavorful and so warming. Even the refried beans were perfect. No complimentary chips but they do have corn and flour tortilla choices included with most plates. They even have an array of "hotter" salsas on request. Of course one can buy chips. Everything, even the mini salad sliced right then. There is a difference of freshness, flavor and hospitality here.

After enjoying a show at the Clark County Library, my friends and I were looking for a place nearby to eat. Restaurant El Rey was literally just a few minutes away, so we decided to eat there. First of all, the place isn't much on the outside; you could easily miss it if you aren't actively looking for it. But once you're inside, it's actually quite lovely! The decor is lively and colorful and makes you feel completely energized, welcomed, and ready to enjoy your meal there. We were quickly helped when we walked in, and our server was very welcoming and congenial. She seated us and got us our menus. Once we were ready to order, she took the time to answer a question to help me choose between two menu options. Prices were reasonable. After we all ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. And it was delicious! My shrimp burrito (I have never had a shrimp burrito in my entire life, so it was something new and interesting to try) was so good! It was flavorful with plenty of juicy, seasoned shrimp and yummy vegetables prepared to perfection. Unfortunately, I ended up overeating even though I brought half my burrito to-go because I seriously couldn't stop eating it and ended up finishing it in the car, lol! My friends' dishes also looked really yummy. If you're looking for a tasty place to eat that's close to Clark County Library, Restaurant El Rey is a great choice if you're craving some really good Mexican food!

A hidden gem in the middle of paradise! Service and food were excellent! May not be the fanciest place in town but sure is friendly and has a family atmosphere, so groups and families are welcome. Their Mexican food menu is extensive, I recommend that you take your time in ordering so you can ensure your eyes meet your palate desires. Thank you very much for the great personal service you rendered!

Chilaquiles Rojos Con Huevo with meat added.

The food was okay, not what I expected! Not authentic at all, they don't have salsa and chips just not what I expected after reading reviews. The service was good just not good. Don't order a coffee it's just instant not good!

I have been back to this restaurant twice since my first visit. The food and service has been consistently good. You can tell tortillas and food is made fresh so food will take some time to come out.

Back again for the second time. This time, I ordered a burrito with al pastor. Oh man it was so yummy and it was a lot of food too. I ordered Jamaica drink with it. I really enjoy this place. Such a colorful and nice vibe. Food is so good!!!!!! Just come try!!

Hands down one of my favorite and most affordable taco spots!…read more It's located next to a busy plaza so parking can be quite difficult They're open daily 10am-2pm. Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

The first thing I noticed was just how packed the entire Venetian area was that night! Apparently No Doubt was in town performing at Sphere, and since the Venetian parking garage is basically right next door, the whole resort had a ton of energy and nonstop foot traffic. It was definitely busy! CHICA had a really fun atmosphere. The restaurant itself feels stylish and upscale without being overly formal. The décor had this vibrant inspired energy with music, lighting, and a social vibe that works really well for group dinners or events! Since it was catered for the event, I only tried a selection of tapas, but everything I had was really good! All of the food was flavorful, well presented, and easy to share while mingling! I really enjoyed the experience! Between the Vegas energy from the Sphere crowd, the lively atmosphere inside CHICA, and the solid food, it ended up being a really fun evening during the conference trip! Definitely somewhere I'd consider coming back to for a full dinner next time I'm on the Strip.

SO GOOD! Favorite spot of the day , hands down. What a great way to end our day trip to Vegas!…read more We started with two appetizers which were more on an amuse bouche. Small in size but packed with flavor. The Himachi? We could've eaten ten of them. Deeeelicious. The main course came out while I stepped away for a few minutes so I missed the fire show, but got to see it when another table got it later. The taste of the beef was absolutely amazing and loved the accrucements that accompanied it as well. We ended our meal with an almost missed Tres Leches. (Silly me didn't ask for the dessert menu, almost had grounds for being left in Las Vegas!). I'm so glad we circled back and got it, cause it was fan freakin tastic Service also was amazing - our server was so patient and kind

Between the music, crowd, and fire performances, it really feels like a full experience and not just dinner. I will say, when we first arrived the front dining room surrounded by candles was VERY warm. I asked if they could lower the AC because while I totally understand the ambiance they're going for, once everyone starts eating and drinking it gets hot fast. They were very accommodating and did lower it a bit, which we appreciated. I also loved that they start you off with pico de gallo and chips for the table, and when we asked for more they happily brought extra. Such a small thing but it made the experience feel really welcoming and generous. For food, we ordered the truffle quesadilla, street corn, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana. The truffle quesadilla was SO good and packed with flavor from the mushrooms, truffle oil, and cheese. The street corn was delicious too, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana was such a fun twist on a classic. Crispy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted Chihuahua cheese. For drinks, I had the Toca Margarita and loved it. Super fresh and well balanced. Service was great throughout the night and the atmosphere made it such a fun place for our group dinner before the No Doubt concert at the Sphere. Would absolutely come back on another Vegas trip!!
