We stopped here after hiking up the falls, and were told we couldn't be seated for over an hour. The bar was empty so we asked if we could sit there and order food and they said yes. It was a little odd though that most tables were empty/marked reserved and no one came during the time we were there. I ordered the burger with onion rings. I was a little confused because the menu said the sandwiches were served with fries or onion rings and didn't mention an up charge, but there was one for onion rings (so that felt a bit misleading). The bartender did warn me but at that point I had already made my decision. The burger was cooked a little over (closer to medium well than medium), but was flavorful and juicy still. The onion rings had some unique seasoning on them (almost like a BBQ flavor?) but were crispy and tasty. The food and service was overall good, but we did have someone in our group whose food came a lot later than everyone else's. The bartender asked if he had sent back his original order, and he said no, but the bartender had no other explanation for why it took so long. Reserve a table ahead and enjoy a good meal before/after your hike!

Least favorite Broadmoor dining experience during our stay. Starting the onion rings - not enough dip. Waiter didn't come back to see if we needed anything so it was cold by the time he was back. We also ordered green chili soup, never came, but wasn't on the receipt. Husband got hot honey sandwich - yum! I ordered the salad with chicken. Chicken was delicious and cooked well (not dry at all). The salad dressing was too oily, not nearly enough vinegar/citrus. The toppings were minimal too - barely any beans corn avocado etc. The tortilla strips also were blah, don't seem to be made in house. We ate outside which was nice that we could be there with our pups. However, outdoor dining area is an after thought. No decor, just tables and chairs. Not even flowers like they had by the portapotties. ~$160 for meal including 3 alcoholic drinks.

Great day visiting the seven falls hike and then on the way down stopping to eat at 1858. The restaurant gives you the historic feel of the park with pictures and it's Mountain Lion at the front door. Food is good with American dining options. From nachos to cheeseburgers. We had a delicious hot honey chicken sandwich and steak frites. All who dine here are greeted with the most gracious welcome. Really cool day when out in Colorado Springs.

We decided to eat here randomly, we didn't have a reservation so we were sat outside. The restaurant is really beautiful and we were seated pretty quick. The patio area is very shaded and pretty relaxing you can enjoy seeing the water and families enjoy their time. We got the chef special of the day which was the wagu burger and also got the nachos. We also got a drink which was pretty good and the food over all was great i had no complaints. I had a great experience, our waiter was super informative. I would definitely recommend to try this place on a special occasion.

Took the girlfriend here in a date night a few months back. Everything was outstanding. The drinks were delicious, food was amazing, and service was great. Made a reservation and we were sat quickly and checked on often. The restaurant atmosphere was the rustic hunting cabin feel that we love. Walking around the grounds and seeing the waterfalls after dinner to help dinner settle. Awesome dinner date night. Will definitely be going back.

We finally got to dine at Restaurant 1858. Last time we visited Seven Falls, the restaurant closed early for a private event. The onion rings were definitely worth the visit alone - they have a bbq dry seasoning on them. They tasted like an onion ring version of bbq chips. Soooo good. My husband and I both got the trout but different preparations. We were both underwhelmed with our meals. My friend, however, got the steak and frites which was absolutely delicious. I'd definitely get the steak next time. The frites were more like potatoes wedges with the same bbq seasoning as the onion rings. The dining experience was very nice and slow paced. Our server, Sydney, provided five-star service. She was definitely worth the automatic 20% gratuity. I do have mixed feelings about auto gratuity, but I really can't complain since service was A+. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but I would return if friends or family wanted to visit Seven Falls for their first time and dine here as part of the Seven Falls experience.

We ate here for dinner when we got rained out during our exploring the Seven Falls Waterfall. We had to wait 30min while the restaurant was setting up for dinner at 5pm. The ambiance was quiet and cozy. Our waiter was Nick and he was awesome and kind. It seems as though they change their menu often upon asking Nick about dish recommendations. After our order was placed; we were served jalapeño cornbread and rolls with house-made butter while we waited. The cornbread was our favorite! For our main course we chose the Wood Grilled Honey Spiced Muscovy Duck Breast $52. The duck and the sides were delicious! I highly recommend it to those who like duck. When visiting Colorado Springs/Seven Falls I'd definitely go back. You can only access the restaurant by shuttle if staying at The Broadmoor Resort or taking the tram up the hill. To my knowledge you have to purchase a Seven Falls admission ticket to get on the property for the $2 tram. I am not sure if different rules apply when staying at the resort. Seven Falls admission w/o tram for adults is $18. $20 adult admission with tram via Seven Falls.

Aside from price, The restaurant food, ambiance, and service were excellent! Reservations were easy to make via OpenTable which I reserved for a party of six (3 couples). I made our reservation with plenty of time to hike up and enjoy all Seven Falls had to offer. The scenic walk up was beautiful and made for memorable pictures. By the time we made it up, we had about 45 minutes till our reservation time. Fortunately, the restaurant was ready for us as we were all ready to eat lunch. We were greeted well coming in and were seated promptly. Our host was welcoming and so was our server, Angela. Angela provided the best service with excellent recommendations which we all took when we ordered. No one at the table was disappointed and we left full and satisfied. The staff was friendly, courteous, professional. The restaurant was clean with cool pictures all around to keep you interested. At the end, we all enjoyed our time.

Beautiful ambience. The waitstaff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Please note that the restaurant charges a 20% service fee. No need to add extra tip unless you feel like it. Our waitress told us about it before we checked out. I had the hikers salad for lunch and it was very filling and flavorful. My husband had the wild boar green chili with jalapeño cornbread. I tasted it and was surprised that it was not as spicy like the green chili we had in New Mexico. My husband does not like spicy food so that was good. It tasted absolutely delicious. The cornbread was also very good.

Came not expecting much being a bit touristy and they only had a lunch menu. Shuttle service to and from the restaurant from the Broadmoor. Excellent service, really nice meal. Simple menu with one entree. Burger, Salad and sandwiches. Good choice of appetizers or starters. Fantastic desserts. A beautiful inside with incredible pictures of the history of 7 Falls. Really great experience.

Shuga's Favorite Cafe Tray is an order that could satisfy one's entire meal but is best when shared as a starter or if you are looking for a light meal. The Mediterranean selection with the hummus and tapenade is amazing with the coconut shrimp soup being a must try with its creamy and spiciness. Though I love the almond butter cake the most to add a little dessert to the meal. The Madame of the Pletzl is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel is perfectly salted and has a wonderful crunch the sandwich needs. The egg melts into the sandwich, mixing with everything it needs to. The ham is fried up to crisp it up a bit but the ham seems to be lacking flavor wise compared to everything else in the sandwich. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich also is an amazing sandwich. The pork shoulder is crisped up nicely and works so well with everything else. The winter soup was a tomato soup with some grilled cheese croutons and it is the best tomato soup I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't puréed, there are noticeable definitions in the tomatoes in the soup. The soup isn't too acidic which is the usual issue in tomato soups. The croutons really amplify this dish on to another level and I just wish there were more in my soup. I can't wait to come back here and my biggest issue will to try and order new things.

I politely asked if we could sit at one of them, and the hostess immediately shut it down, saying those tables were assigned to certain servers. That may be how things work internally, but as a guest, it should not feel like you are being denied something that is clearly available, especially when you made the effort to request it ahead of time. What stood out even more than the refusal was the attitude. There was no warmth, no attempt to accommodate, and no sense of hospitality just a cold, dismissive interaction. First impressions matter, and this one set the tone for the entire experience. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. My country fried steak was dry and lacked any crispness, like it had been sitting out for a while instead of being freshly prepared. The potatoes had the same issue dry, stale, and not worth the price. Nothing tasted fresh. I will say our server was kind and tried to do a good job, and the view is undeniably beautiful. But a great location cannot carry an experience when the basics hospitality and food quality fall short. At the end of the day, this is not just about one table or one dish. It is about how guests are made to feel. People spend their time and money here expecting a welcoming experience, especially when celebrating moments or simply wanting to enjoy the setting. Being met with indifference and attitude instead of basic courtesy is disappointing. Think twice before booking here. A beautiful view means very little when the hospitality is poor and the food feels neglected. I hope management takes a serious look at how guests are treated from the moment they walk in and asks themselves a simple question: if you were the customer, would this experience feel acceptable?

I'm not sure where to start. My spouse and I have eaten at Till about five times now. The first…read moretwo times were at the old location. Every time we've eaten there since the move something major has gone wrong. Valentines Day 2026 was an unfortunate disaster, and while my wife and I nearly always find a way to enjoy a night out, I can't imagine that others did. Let's start with the fact that the menu was Prix Fixe. Translation from French... "You eat what we make, and you pay what we tell you". Prix Fixe is usually fine, if we know ahead of time. We watched two other couples get up and leave when they realized that they couldn't order off the menu. There was no indication on the Till website that they were serving a Prix Fixe meal, nor was this mentioned when we made reservations. I was mildly concerned when I noted that although the menu was "Prix Fixe", the "Prix" wasn't shown on the menu (the exception being the cost of the wine "pairing"). We ordered dinner and our waitress (who was fantastic, BTW), asked if we had any dietary restrictions. I do... I'm pescetarian. Not a problem according to her. She subbed our "bacon wrapped goat cheese dates" with "truffle fries". The truffle fries... They were cold, and probably 2-3 days old, to be honest. Not so much truffle either. I'm going to summarize the rest of the meal... Caesar salad... Lettuce slopped on a plate, presentation be damned. Croutons that had been deep fried in oil that is WELL past it's prime (deep fried...). Non-uniformly dressed. Mostly just lettuce and croutons. Improperly poached Salmon that appeared to have been finished in a broiler. It was likely poached en masse a few days before (yeah... I know that trick. It's always a bad idea...) The salmon had a mouthfeel like eating old wet butter. The cellular structure of the fish was nearly completely dissolved. There was some sticky brown substance smeared on top. The salmon had been cooked to the point of blandness. The green beans were not terrible, but... They were full of bacon (pescetarian?). Who puts crumbled bacon in green beans? There was no indication of bacon in the beans on the menu, and the waitress was embarrassed that she wasn't told. Mashed potatoes hiding under the salmon. Probably 3-4 teaspoons. My wife and I argued over whether they were instant or not. The dessert... Bog Standard Sysco Cheesecake with some kind of berry goo and graham cracker crust that sticks to your teeth like superglue. God help me... Till has a bakery on site. The wine pairing. Our wine cellar has probably 100+ bottles in the rack right now. We both have relatively decent taste in wine. I can recognize a 10.00 bottle of wine. Serving wine in hot (e.g. fresh out of he dishwasher) aperitif glasses does NOTHING to help cheap wine. The pairings were comically bad (and I actually enjoy bad pairings. I think bad pairings are both fun and educational.) But... 60.00 for 8x very conservative "four ounce" pours. The words "cough syrup" came up more than once. I don't know where the "Malbec" came from, but it's probably sufficient to say that I've tasted a lot of Malbec (both from Argentina and France), and I'm not sure I'd agree. Someone else reviewed this meal and referred to it as a "cash grab". The word "fraud" also comes to mind. This was the worst meal I've had in a really long time, and the overall tab, with tip, came out at well over 200.00... The manager (I guess... She never introduced herself...) comp'ed us the wine pairings because of the bacon in the green beans. Our waitress was a gem, BTW. We really enjoyed her service. Her service was the only good thing about the experience. Till needn't worry. This is the 3rd disappointing experience we've had at Till in the last 2-3 years. We've always made excuses ("they just moved"... "COVID hurt all the restaurants"... etc). No more... Poor communication to customers... Poor communication between the kitchen and the front of house. An incompetent kitchen. Clueless management. I think this problem will take care of itself.
