I am not a huge sweet fan so this was a stretch for me, but I really enjoyed it. Everything was tasty and not super sweet except for the sugar cookie which was expected. It was really pretty looking and really pretty tasting. I can't say anything about the ambiance because I did not dine in. Same with the service. In general I would definitely try more things on the menu. I liked everything but the standout was the panna cotta and the match madaline.

The coffee was served in a nice big mug and I thought it was quite good. The breakfast sandwich came shortly after the coffee. It has a house made sausage patty in a bun with cheese and some greens. At first I thought it was small but with that sausage I found it quite filling. I also ordered the mushroom soup and it was both unique and delicious. I've often said that you can tell the skill of a chef or cook by the quality of their soup. The menu also had a number of sandwiches for lunch. Journey Café is a bit of a drive for us but despite that I'm certain that we'll be back. If you like well made meals that are healthy and well priced you'll want to give this new café a try.

The lattes are great and as someone who's lactose-intolerant I appreciate the plant-based milk options they have (oat milk is my favourite). They have some breakfast and lunch options, and baked goods. These can change, but if the cinnamon bun is there you can't go wrong with that. They also have a selection of beer and wine (only place to have an alcoholic beverage in the mall). Staff is always friendly.and the owner she's a gem. I will say there's often only one person working, so there may be the occasion when there's a bit of a lineup, but it's never anything major.
