While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. I have attached photos to clearly show these issues. When I first met with Vincent Exteriors, the contractor did not explain the vinyl siding material or warn me about its tendency to crack and break easily. It seemed his main focus was securing payment from the insurance company rather than ensuring quality or durability. In addition to the poor installation quality, their communication and customer service were disappointing. When I raised these concerns, my calls were poorly handled. Today, I called again to request repairs, but he refused to send anyone to fix the issues, claiming the work was not under warranty and that I should find another contractor for repairs.
