I enjoyed this place a great deal. A quick escape to Bend for a few week days. The air quality wasn't the greatest so we stayed in a bit more than usual. The temperature was set to be around 100 most days and when we discovered our Airbnb didn't have air conditioning this place was our go to. Not only was it less expensive but it had an indoor pool where I spent quite a bit of time so I didn't have to deal with the smoke. The have a workout room that is well equipped that is open 24 hours so you can workout pretty much when you want to. The pool is open 6a to 10p so there's time to swim except in the wee hours which honestly who's doing that that's not intoxicated. Haha. This residence inn had a small lounge located in it which opens at 4pm and you can get a variety of eats there. It was nice to have some offerings onsite. I know typically any type of restaurant/bar is a loss leader but it's very much appreciated by me so I always try to support it. They also have a snack section at the front desk which is dangerous for someone like me watching late night tv with soda, chips, and candy. One of the features they had here was a room where you could lock up your bike or skis I'm sure they don't want you taking them to the room and as someone who has danced around a mountain bike in a room many times I was glad to not have it in the room. All in all a nice stay and worth the $10 parking fee. Their parking is limited and I suspect the don't want nearby concert goers parking here. I'll definitely be back again.

The Residence Inn was a great hotel for us. We stayed here over Christmas. It was in a great location right outside of the Old Mill District of Bend, Oregon. The front desk crew was terrific! Beth was the one who checked us in and gave a terrific room, and she also gave us some great advice on when to go to Mt. Bachelor. Amatha worked in the morning. She was dressed in her Christmas holiday outfit and was a really cheerful person. We were given a room with a great view of the three smokestacks. Our room was exactly what we requested with 2 queen beds. The room was big and had adequate space for all our luggage and winter clothes. The bathroom was big enough for the three of us. They got rid of their Paul Mitchell products and now provide the Marriott approved North soap, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast is provided downstairs in the lobby. They have scrambled eggs, sausage and fresh fruit. They also had a couple of waffle makers. Coffee and juices are available as well. The girl working on Christmas day did a wonderful job keeping everything stocked. When I asked her for boxes, she immediately gave it to me. A different girl worked the next two days after Christmas. This other girl must not have been given a present from Santa as she seemed to be in a bad mood. A lot of the food needed refilling. There were times that they ran out of eggs, waffle batter, and even coffee. I tried to ask her for a box for my wife's breakfast, she replied, "I will give it to you this time, but, we don't provide boxes. It got so bad that Kelly, the GM, helped out at breakfast on 2 of the three days that I was there. When I asked Kelly for a box, she gladly went to go get one for me. This is a really good hotel in a great location in proximity to the Old Mill and downtown. I enjoyed my visit here and would love to visit again.

Just passing through...stop over for one night. Nice hotel, but too pet friendly for my taste. There was a couple of dog hairs on the desk. Also, an almost empty quart of chocolate milk in the fridge. Standard breakfast items but plenty of space in the dining area compared to other Residence Inns. Nice views of Mount Bachelor and the three Sisters from the hotel propert. Three Sisters mountains in the background. South, middle and North Sisters

Very nice location - near the Old mill district. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. No way to get fresh air in the room-windows don't open. The indoor swimming pool is really tiny and the jacuzzi is way too much chlorinated. The "new" breakfast is, well, like food you probably get only on a really cheap airline. No bread, toast, or even bagels - zero. Everything is microwaved from frozen and is the same every day. Almost rotten bananas... Mcdonald's is like a gourmet restaurant compared to this.

Breakfast service was friendly and courteous. Very quiet. Same spot for no vibe 19th hole drinks. Bartender needs service training. Better to go out into town for the after round. Clubhouse service snootiness was expected and experienced with the lavishly expensive price for a round of golf $$$$. Merch designs not impressive enough to buy. Would play again but maybe better valued during the off season.

Most of the employees were friendly and spoke when they saw me. Many of the employees were helpful. My room had everything I needed including two beds, a large shower, a patio with a table and two chairs, toiletries, a Nespresso coffee maker (also included coffee, tea, sugar, honey, and creamer). The room had a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. There was also a couch, good quality tv, and a fire place. I liked that I've was available and it was pre-bagged to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom had a his and her sink setup, the shower is separate from the toilet, and the air conditioner was perfect, when needed. My only dislike about the room was the outlet near the bed. There was only one outlet available for a device that was not a phone or laptop. I needed to hook up a medical device and the outlet was too far from the top of the bed. I used the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and trails. At times, the women's locker room was a dirty mess. It would have been nice for someone to stay on top of keeping it clean. During the conference, we were served food, coffee, tea, and drinks. All the staff attending to us were great. Anything we needed, they provided it. I would for sure visit again!

If it were not for The Haven I would have been way less comfortable visiting Bend as often as I did. The Haven offers several comfortable ad hoc working stations. I'm a lounge back with my feet up kind of laptop worker and there were a couple of spots that were able to fully serve my needs. For me, when it comes to shared workspaces the most important thing is a private setting for an online meeting. To my count the Haven has about 12-13 spots where you can go to carry out private meetings. These spots include 5 phone booths, 3 small conference rooms, 1 large conference room, and about 3-4 isolated open areas. They are also adding more all the time so by the time you're reading this review this number might have increased. Management is awesome. The owner Scott is a really good guy and truly cares about the welfare of the members. The wife, whom I didnt really interact with much, is also a good person and she is a local elected education official. Honestly, everyone on staff is awesome and helpful. Shout out to Heather and Cynthia. Whenever I went I always felt very welcomed. Finally, a shared workspace is ran by staff however the members are what really make up the environment. The Haven as a great diverse group of members who have a wide range of jobs. Every now and then I would to see what other members were doing on their monitors and I saw some pretty intriguing stuff.

The company hosting the seminar covered the cost of our room, so we did not pay for it. The property itself is large and sprawls on either side of the river. We stayed on the second level, with a balcony overlooking the river, which was really nice! The hotel is from the 1970's, but it seemed nicely maintained and the room was very clean. Amenities I appreciated were the dual bathroom vanities, comfy chair, refrigerator, and USB charging ports on the wall. The room itself was generously sized. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was fine (not terrible, but not amazing). One thing I really missed having in the room was a microwave to reheat leftovers or coffee...I was surprised by the absence of this common amenity. As stated earlier, we didn't pay for this room. I looked up pricing, and the base rate seemed relatively reasonable. However, they tack on a 19% "amenity fee" that raises the rate quite a bit, along with the usual transient taxes by state and local governments. Even though I found our stay here to be enjoyable, I don't think I'd pay the rate they're charging overall for that same room. Although the river view was nice, I think I'd skip it and save some money. If their rates are acceptable to you and you value a riverside view, it's absolutely a nice hotel to stay at. All of the staff we encountered were very kind, too. I can't really say anything negative about our experience here! I would have given it a five star review, but I find the final room rate to be too expensive and having a microwave would have been appreciated.
