The lobby bar is also a great experience with an art deco theme that feels like a cozy speakeasy. Ask Clayton to make you a cocktail, and you won't be disappointed. I had a Manhattan that was one of the best I've had in town. And the cacio e pepe popcorn was killer! This is a great spot to come before a show or dinner, or spend the night for an exceptional and elevated experience!

Upon booking, you are provided all the necessary details via e-mail, including parking information and the code for the front door. This is a self check-in sort of thing, which works for me. The owner is readily available, via text, although we didn't need to contact her because everything was just fine. The downstairs of the inn includes multiple sitting rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We definitely took advantage of the fridge and freezer during our stay. There are three guest rooms upstairs. Two share a bathroom at the end of the hall and our room had a gorgeous private bath. There is also a private cottage in the back of the property. (I do recommend earplugs, if you are a light sleeper.) The Crown Suite has plenty of room, including a king size bed, sitting chair, built-in table and bench seats, and a large TV. The bathroom is separated by a large, sliding barn door. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. The clawfoot tub was especially enjoyable after a long day of hiking and beer drinking. The bed was quite comfortable. They don't provide breakfast on site, although an ample morning meal is provided at their sister inn, The Mill Inn, which is an easy 10-15 minute walk (or very short drive) from Tudor Inn. (I'll post a separate review of breakfast.) Tudor Inn is located in the heart of downtown with many breweries, restaurants, and shops, as well as Drake Park and Mirror Lake within walking distance. This was a great "home base" for our time in Bend and I would definitely enjoy staying here again!

They are practicing all the Covid recommendations. The room was a good size and had everything you would expect to have in a hotel room. The bed was comfortable and the AC/heat worked well. I didn't notice until morning that the bathroom was dirty and there were some questionable stains on the closet door and the curtains. I reported this to the front desk upon checkout but I doubt anything will be done about it. They are serving a grab and go breakfast consisting of fruit, muffins, coffee, juice, and milk. The hot tub and pool are also open. They were well maintained and clean.

I got good sleep and despite it not being top floor, I had no dancing neighbors above me. Instead, I had the neighbors that checked into 230 or 232 across the hall. The host handed me the key to room 229 and as I approached the door of my room in the hallway, I could see a woman with all her crap on the floor sifting through it looking for something. I didn't think any more of it and spent some time sorting through my things getting ready for work later that evening. I was hungry so I went downstairs to see what they offered in the pantry, found nothing that appealed and walked back to the stairs to floor 2. A wiry, angry looking man in a white T-shirt came down the hall towards me and went into the room where I'd seen the woman before. Again, didn't think much of it... until the screaming and shouting began. There were expletives and plenty of hate for an hour. I thought I heard someone getting hit and at one time I heard the woman screaming HELP over and over. I called the front desk, but no one answered, and I definitely didn't want to leave my room. The woman left and found she'd been locked out and started pounding on the door asking for her phone. (Yes, I could easily hear all this inside or outside their room from inside my room.) They finally left still screaming at each other thankfully so I was able to sneak out and get to the airport to do my job. When I returned the privacy tag was on their door and I hoped that was it. It wasn't. At 7:45 they started screaming and yellling again. I heard something being thrown. The man claimed she'd hit him in the head and she said it wasn't true. They left the room again with the man shouting "you're going to jail, bitch!" I'm shocked no one else heard this on floor 2. I checked out and left the hotel. Odds are, this is probably a one-off occurrence, but it'll make me think twice when I'm choosing between Hampton and Comfort Suites.

Hang on to your hats, this is a long one. First let me get to the point. I woke the first night…read morehaving been poked (as in skin pierced) by three needles in the bed. At first I thought I was bit by a bug but nothing was under the sheets. During the night there were 2 more sharp pains. After pulling back not just the sheets but the mattress pad we discovered three acupuncture needles. The police met me at the ER (they agreed it was a matter for them to be involved) and they took the needles and spoke with the doctors agreeing on a course of treatment. Blood work, labs and preventative meds. I used my own insurance because I did not hear from anyone, and we were in town for a child's wedding that day. The prescription (see pic) was 4500, afte my insurance it would be 2300. I did not pay for it but brought print outs to the hotel to find out how to resolve this. Eventually we heard from the manager who was apparently very put out because it was her day off and a holiday. I mean, the nerve of us! She said WE did not follow protocol and should have just given them the hotel name and they would get billed. LOL. I mean how do I follow their protocol when no one is communicating? So we went back to the hospital only to be told that's not a thing. After some back-and-forth, she said Mario (operations manager, but I believe is an owner) would call the hospital and give them the necessary info. Never happened. More communication, more promises (in writing), and more nothing. Here's the thing, that preventative medication MUST be started 24 -36 hours after possible exposure. I communicated this to her but she just kept complaining about the holiday. Her name by the way is Angela Ahmed. The next morning I emailed her to tell her that I had to use my own insurance and would have to pursure recourses to collect that back because I had no more time. After assuring me that their insurance would cover it, they would take care of us, they would comp our rooms (they did not), nothing was done because this person was too worried about disrupting her holday to take the health and well being of a guest as important. THERE WERE THREE NEEDLES IN MY BED! This is literally your only job, to take care of your guests. So here we are and I have decided that I am going to collect all my photos, videos, timeline, experience... and start posting everywhere and anywhere. Had they just called the hospital and provided them with the insurance information I would have gone quietly away assuming my tests come back negative in 3 months. Now I have this and other bills that will come in later for the ER visit and labs that were needed. So this is just the beginning. I'm going to continue to post on every platform, every review site. I'm going to tag this business and every new media outlet I can think of, anyone who might take an interest. Do the right thing.

It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.
