I've been here twice for brunch and it was ok but just not memorable. Super depressing too since it's centrally located at the TMF and has awesome views of the greens! I first went here right after the Irving Marathon which I believe was their opening weekend and it was chaos. There were tons of people after the race so I totally get that and then we went a second time and got the same server. Even though she only had a few tables, she seemed to take her time and it was hard to flag her down. Their brunch is solid but it's missing something. Oh! Maybe potatoes! They ration those nuggets hardcore! Each time I've been I've maybe gotten eight or nine pieces afterwards and if I'm getting brunch, I'm carb loading with some potatoes so more is always better in my book. Our first time here to Toyota Music factory and we were hungry. We stopped at the first place Reservoir and it was a bit confusing but you seat yourself. Our son who was 10 was with us and I will say - although no one said anything- this is prob not the place for kiddos although there wasn't anything inappropriate- this is more of a happy hour or after work hangout. Lots of TVs to watch whatever sports are one and a large covered patio for outdoor dining. The place is Lou filled with music too so kind of hard for conversation if that's what you are looking for. But overall a fun vibe. The staff was friendly and service was fast. We ordered the captain crunch chicken strips (they were awesome), ahi tuna salad (great flavor) and the brisket skillet (was okay). I was impressed with the level of food and overall taste of everything considering this is truly a bar. I would def order the chicken strips or the salad again. Not sure about the brisket skillet- my husband liked his food. This would be a fun place to hang with friends and I didn't have any issues with the service or staff unlike the other reviews. Also came here with my fiancé for dinner and was the perfect place to eat and watch college football. The brunch here is great and you get a boat load of food for the price! I got the "Everything but the kitchen sink". Menu said that my meal didn't come with a side and when they brought out my food I understood. My jaw dropped when they brought it out to me because my food actually came in a kitchen sink and it was HUGE! Add a little bit of syrup to it and you get every flavor of brunch you could ask for. Absolutely delicious and definitely good for 2. And the time my fiancé and I had dinner here, we shared their loaded fries, which came with waffle fries and a ton of Queso and fixins. Horrible experience (again). We stopped in after dinner at Gloria's for some additional drinks and music. The bartender (bar manager), Whitney, was the RUDEST bartender I've ever encountered. (1) She pretended not to hear you when she was standing in front of you. (2) She advised that nobody controlled the jukebox, and skipped every song we played. Then when we asked how our songs were skipped, she said "Oh, I did it. I didn't like that song. Had too much bass." (3) She is the bar manager and didn't know how to make a simple drink we ordered (top shelf margarita). Then was irritated with us (the customers) for ordering that drink. Her other bartender had to make them... her drinks were HORRIBLE. Tasted like TANG. Absolutely ridiculous. (4) Did I mention she was extremely rude and unprofessional? We took advantage of the $2 mimosa deal woo woo! This place does pint glass mimosas, not in flutes so it's a great deal. The menu made it very hard to choose one item for brunch; everything sounded amazing. I went with the captain crunch crusted chicken and waffles. I was so excited when it came out it smelled amazing. The syrup behind mare with whiskey had a watery consistency but had great flavor. The dish was supposed to come with a blackberry compote but they just threw a few blackberries in a ramekin which I was sad about =/ There was a great crunch on the tenders but the chicken itself lacked flavor sadly. The waffles were pretty simple Belgian waffles which was fine but I would love to see some creativity to make this dish stand out from other chicken and waffle dishes in the area Just like at night time, the music always awesome and service was great! There was a live band playing right outside that was nice. Parking: Ample parking in the nearby parking garage Service: Could have been better... After ordering our foods and drinks, our server didn't really check up on us. However, considering it was late night hours and the restaurant was about 75% full, maybe they were short staffed? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.. Food: Decent, nothing extraordinary. We had the late night bites menu that's available from 10pm to 2am. We ordered the queso (also comes with a side of salsa!), chicken wings, and the balsamic sirloin pizza. All were easily shareable dishes! My hubby had a Mojito-sweet tea (not my thing) but good if your looking for something strong but sweet. Reminded me of a Long Island iced tea. He also had a Wild Berry Lemonade which was quite yummy. Funny moment; the bartender made the drink wrong initially and the waitress came with the corrected drink, immediately after the manager came and made sure it was definitely correct and that hubby was happy. I had a sweet tea, Chicken fried chicken w/ smashed red potatoes and green beans (which was a 3 of 5, so yummy) and hubby had Pesto Pasta and had shrimp & chicken added (he gives it a 3). Keep in mind a 3 is a mid-range judgment but that's not a bad rating. We just had to add some good ole S&P to take it up a notch. I see myself coming back and even recommending but a point of advice to management: Please teach the wait staff you cover their mouths when they cough (it wasn't my waitress but one who was in close proximity.) Great bar from Fort Worth will hopefully make a lasting stay and good Impression as the new anchor bar restaurant for the Toyota Music Factory. Menu has so many awesome choices I took the advice of my awesome server Avery- Pesto pasta with grilled chicken added, it was amazing- excellent flavor, dried tomatoes, and fresh grilled chicken breast. This place will quickly become the go to post concert or show-- two bars with great selections. Service was on point with a smile and the food came out promptly. Fairly new restaurant (opened in May) with a ton of potential. The menu for lunch was extensive with plenty of options for every preference. The location right off the Texas Lottery Music Stage and outdoor misters across the front patio that extends the length of the building will make it a popular destination on weekends. Indoors is roomy and booths are large. We took recommendations from our waitress and went with the El Jefe Burrito and Texas Pulled Chicken Salad. Both were huge, but El Jefe was the fave. Loaded and full of flavor with a little latent heat. The salad was good but if it was the only thing I tried this might be a 3 star review. The chicken seemed sparse for such a large salad and it was a bit dry until I asked for more bbq sauce. Still, with so much more on the menu there are plenty of reasons to come back. read more

I don't know if the server had twenty tables or didn't give a darn but it was ridiculous. He disappeared for lengthy periods. We got our food an hour and twenty-five minutes after sitting down. Pros: the food is pretty good and they have some unique options. Cons: like other reviews, it is ALWAYS slow. It doesn't matter if it's empty or packed, it's always slow to get your drinks and food. It's also incredibly loud. They have a DJ come in and the volume gets turned up during events and weekend brunch so loudly that you can't talk with people at your table. On our last trip the DJ turned up the music 3 times and we asked our waitress if they could turn it down and she told us her manager said no. We cancelled our order (which hadn't come out because it's so slow) because the volume was overwhelming for 1:30pm on a Sunday and asked to speak to the manager to give our feedback. Rather than just accepting the feedback or placating our frustrations, she yelled at us and told us tough, don't come back because this is the "vibe the owner wants." Fred is terrible!l and racist. We came to have a good time and enjoy the music. The whole time they payed music with NO skips and then we (black people) paid TouchTunes to play Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em" and paid extra in the app but as soon as the song came on, Fred decided to skip out song without consideration. As I looked over to see who skipped this song, I realized Fred was talking to another patron (white) and she asked "did you skip that" and he said "yeah" and bother were all happy and laughing about it so when I walked up and asked, "hey did you skip that?" He acted dumb and was like "let me go get a manager". While the manager compensated us with free shots, it didn't compensate for Fred and the (white) woman patron still continued to talk crap thinking we could not see them. Shortly after, we left.
