I came to this restaurant with a friend to catch up and have a few cocktails. The cocktails are great here and my server was very attentive. After about 3 cocktails we decided to get some food. We ordered Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Corndogs. They were decent. The batter on the corndogs could have been cooked a bit longer, because the batter on the inside was a little undercooked. The tacos were good just not as memorable. I will definitely go back because we enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. That will give me a chance to find something else on the food menu to try. After 10pm on the weekends, the restaurant turns into a lounge/club. read more

My husband recently stopped by the Reservoir for drinks with friends. He said the service was fast and the drinks were cold. He brought home dinner for us- both had the Ahi Tuna Salad. I have to say that it was not good at all. The tuna had this gross, mushy consistency. I am wondering if it was possibly old? The dressing has very little taste to it. Very boring salad, especially since it was $15 a piece. I definitely am not a fan! read more

Reservoir is more of a bar atmosphere but children are welcomed as well. The brick oven loaded fries was your typical appetizer item. I would describe the fries as cheesy goodness! When it came to the Cajun shrimp tacos they were pretty tasty. The toppings were mango sauce, queso fresco, chopped bacon, tomatoes, cilantro and a slice of avocado. Everything paired so well together. I'm a pizza fanatic and I'm always down to try new ones so trying the chicken & then some pizza was right up my alley. It's basically like healthy meets a guilty pleasure aka lots of cheese! So good. read more

Tourist trap or just lousy service??? It is late, you are hungry after a concert, you see a bar/restaurant full of people with security at the entrance so you think hey, this is a spot. Well, I have to say X missed this spot and all around it. After being carded by security, you are greeted with a sign at the entrance that states(paraphrasing) "Choose your seats". I look in the bar and it is jammed packed so I found a place outside facing the pavilion stage. My waitress, bless her heart, was taking care of about six tables by herself until another waitress showed up outside to assist. This should have been my cue to exit, but Foodie Yelp must traverse through unknown territories for the truth. Ordered drinks and food on the first ask, 30 min pass, get drinks, 1o min later food to follow, but I cannot with full certainty call what was brought out to the table consumable food unless you are highly inebriated and even then after taking a bite I would err on the side of caution. The order was Buffalo, Honey BBQ wings and waffle fries. I ordered them extra crispy but first when I saw the wings alone I was taken aback by the mere size then I took a bite and had to spit it right out. The wings seemed flash fried with sauce just pour on them in a bowl for show. I was trying to find some decent words to describe the taste and the only word that kept coming up in my thoughts was....artificial! After taking a bite of the waffle fries I had to expectorate those also. I would best describe the Waffle fries as a conglomerate of items to form a waffle like food structure only to instantly dissolve in saliva. The Reservoir has good cold air on the inside with separate music that plays outside, but it is severely overpriced, the food is questionable at best, but hey the glass of water was cold. read more

Came here for the OU pre-game festivities and it didn't disappoint. This is a really kewl venue area with friendly patrons. Parking in garage within walking distance. Wife and I shared the queso, salsa and chips and it didn't disappoint. Blended cheeses, meats and peppers queso, wonderful flavored salsa with thick crispy chips. We also shared the brisket skillet, oh yeah, that's some pure deliciousness right there. Staff was on point during this time and friendly, highly recommend stopping here. read more

I met some friends here in the middle of the day during the week. I am always down to try something new and we've been hoping to find somewhere we like in this area. Well, we didn't find it. Came in, the waiter was friendly and said to sit anywhere. He brought out menus and we were looking for lunch specials. Alas, there are none. They do have some happy hour specials, but they don't start until three. We ordered cocktails, as we had the day off, and they had an interesting selection in their drink menu, but they don't list the price. I hate that. How do you know you're going to get an overpriced drink? When they don't tell you how much it is. But hey, it's Las Colinas. It is expected. We decided to just do some apps and got the chili con queso and the tuna tartare. I did not read the description of the tuna tartare and was surprised when it came out, as it looked as if it had mayonnaise gooping out of the tower it was stacked in. Being unreasonable in my distaste for mayo, I did not try it. Apparently it is whipped goat cheese and they think it improves sushi grade tuna. The flavor was described to me as having a weird "something" about it. My friends didn't finish it. I did try the chips and queso and it was completely unremarkable. It says it has pork belly in it, but I didn't get any hint of it or really any smokiness that one associates with pork belly. All in all it was just ok. I ordered the white sangria which was pretty, but not worth $11. We had to ask for ice in our waters. And the manager came by after we ordered and had the weirdest exchange. She asked if we had any questions, and I told her I had not really even looked at the menu. My friend ordered the appetizers and I had just looked at the drink menu. Again she asked me if I had any questions. Again I said no. She asked my friend if she remembered what she ordered. We didn't understand if our order had been screwed up or what but the exchange was off-putting. We all looked at each other, puzzled, after she walked away. The esthetics are nice. Our waiter was friendly, checked on us a bit too much, but there were only three tables occupied, and the patio area is great. The food and the drinks are pricy and forgettable. There are better options right next door. read more

I've been here twice for brunch and it was ok but just not memorable. Super depressing too since it's centrally located at the TMF and has awesome views of the greens! I first went here right after the Irving Marathon which I believe was their opening weekend and it was chaos. There were tons of people after the race so I totally get that and then we went a second time and got the same server. Even though she only had a few tables, she seemed to take her time and it was hard to flag her down. Their brunch is solid but it's missing something. Oh! Maybe potatoes! They ration those nuggets hardcore! Each time I've been I've maybe gotten eight or nine pieces afterwards and if I'm getting brunch, I'm carb loading with some potatoes so more is always better in my book. PS-They don't open until 11a for brunch so if you're looking to kill some time, go to Thirsty Lion for a libation or eat there! read more

Went for appetizers and drinks on a Monday night. Loved the vibe here, tons of seating, not too crowded, and opens up to the courtyard at Toyota Music Factory. We had a couple pizzas and the appetizer sampler called "the smorgasbord". The angry pigs in a blanket were delicious, perfect little spicy nuggets. Another favorite were the captain crunch chicken tenders, sweet and savory with a really great crunch. The flood is a margarita with a jalapeño tequila shooter, delivered quite the punch! read more

My first time visiting the Las Colinas - Toyota Music Factory area. Reservoir was packed as I arrived during the Clippers vs Mavs playoff game. Door staff was cool, service was friendly and super quick. Ordered drinks and a few items from their Late Night Menu. Captains Tenders and Chips & Queso were solid options. No complaints, although I've seen quite a few miserable reviews about their service from past Yelpers. I'd return here in a heartbeat. read more

This is the third and last time we give the place a chance. I've had bad service before, but never NO service at all, much less three times in a row. For our first visit, the place was empty and we sat there for fifteen minutes, let the staff know that we were ready, and they looked at us as if we were aliens. The second and third times were a similar experience. How this place is in business is beyond me! The waitresses talk to you as if you are an inconvenience to them. I'd love to give an opinion on the food and drinks but, WHAT food and drinks? It's no wonder that this place is the lowest rated in the area. read more

Staff is incredibly incompetent! Slow. We noticed it's more of a bar for 21 year olds that are friends with the bartenders. I feel bad for whoever owns this place. Stealing is occurring without a doubt. Came here with high expectations as the location is beautiful and heard about this place through another restaurant owner. We planned on spending our Monday afternoon drinking and eating on the patio for a few hours. They only serve 4.50 wells and 1.00 off all beers for happy hour. We ordered a vodka splash of cranberry and kid you not we were served half of a drink of watered down and melted ice. I have worked in the industry for 18 years and I would never serve and present a drink like that. Everything that goes across the bnever mind how much it costs represents your company. If I were a bar The service was subpar and drinks were even worse. Came here for happy hour and left very disappointed. We ended up going to another bar that were happy to serve us with great amazing drinks. read more

I'm appalled with all the bad reviews I'm seeing. I've been here for brunch and the staff was great and the food was amazing! Also came here with my fiancé for dinner and was the perfect place to eat and watch college football. The brunch here is great and you get a boat load of food for the price! I got the "Everything but the kitchen sink". Menu said that my meal didn't come with a side and when they brought out my food I understood. My jaw dropped when they brought it out to me because my food actually came in a kitchen sink and it was HUGE! Add a little bit of syrup to it and you get every flavor of brunch you could ask for. Absolutely delicious and definitely good for 2. And the time my fiancé and I had dinner here, we shared their loaded fries, which came with waffle fries and a ton of Queso and fixins. And for our meal, we got their mac n cheese with pulled pork and he got their burger. Both of which were really good. This is a great spot to go to if you're looking to pregame for a concert at the TMF or if you're just looking to watch sports in the Las Colinas area. There are TVs all around the restaurant. Also, their patio is the spot to be if you want to listen to live music from the mini open music stage and enjoy great food! read more

Horrible experience (again). We stopped in after dinner at Gloria's for some additional drinks and music. The bartender (bar manager), Whitney, was the RUDEST bartender I've ever encountered. (1) She pretended not to hear you when she was standing in front of you. (2) She advised that nobody controlled the jukebox, and skipped every song we played. Then when we asked how our songs were skipped, she said "Oh, I did it. I didn't like that song. Had too much bass." (3) She is the bar manager and didn't know how to make a simple drink we ordered (top shelf margarita). Then was irritated with us (the customers) for ordering that drink. Her other bartender had to make them... her drinks were HORRIBLE. Tasted like TANG. Absolutely ridiculous. (4) Did I mention she was extremely rude and unprofessional? Bottom-line, I will not give this establishment another "chance". They continue to disappoint every time I've decided to "try again". Whitney needs a new profession. I have given her the benefit of the doubt on many occasions and she seems to just be miserable. Her energy is foul. read more

My boyfriend and I normally come here in the evening for a few drinks. But this review is mainly on my recent brunch experience. First off we got to Resevoir and realized they weren't open yet oops! The doors were open so we able to sit down and look at the menu. Our server came by promptly and just let us know we couldn't order food until the kitchen opened which was fine. We took advantage of the $2 mimosa deal woo woo! This place does pint glass mimosas, not in flutes so it's a great deal. The menu made it very hard to choose one item for brunch; everything sounded amazing. I went with the captain crunch crusted chicken and waffles. I was so excited when it came out it smelled amazing. The syrup behind mare with whiskey had a watery consistency but had great flavor. The dish was supposed to come with a blackberry compote but they just threw a few blackberries in a ramekin which I was sad about =/ There was a great crunch on the tenders but the chicken itself lacked flavor sadly. The waffles were pretty simple Belgian waffles which was fine but I would love to see some creativity to make this dish stand out from other chicken and waffle dishes in the area Just like at night time, the music always awesome and service was great! We come here pretty often so I'm sure we'll be back in. read more

Came with a group of friends around 10pm to have a drink and hang out on a Saturday night. After getting our IDs checked at the door, we were told the whole restaurant was open seating. Not sure if it's like this all the time, or just for late night hours. (This was my first time here.) Location: Amazing! It's located right next to the Toyota Music Factory pavilion. There was a live band playing right outside that was nice. Parking: Ample parking in the nearby parking garage Service: Could have been better... After ordering our foods and drinks, our server didn't really check up on us. However, considering it was late night hours and the restaurant was about 75% full, maybe they were short staffed? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.. Food: Decent, nothing extraordinary. We had the late night bites menu that's available from 10pm to 2am. We ordered the queso (also comes with a side of salsa!), chicken wings, and the balsamic sirloin pizza. All were easily shareable dishes! Overall, I'd probably come back and give this place another try. The location is great for an evening get together with friends. read more

NEVER AGAIN. RUDE WAITSTAFF. I plan on leaving our waiter a cash tip as I always do at restaurants because I understand most card tips are split between all waitstaff. Food is your normal American food. Basic nothing fancy. Place was convenient bc it was right next to Toyota Music Factory. If you have forever to wait, this is the place for you. Just to get our drinks took 20min and then our food was almost 50min and it wasn't that busy. 4.5 After seeing a movie, my husband and I decided to check out this open-air eatery. The weather was actually perfection and added to the whole experience. My hubby had a Mojito-sweet tea (not my thing) but good if your looking for something strong but sweet. Reminded me of a Long Island iced tea. He also had a Wild Berry Lemonade which was quite yummy. Funny moment; the bartender made the drink wrong initially and the waitress came with the corrected drink, immediately after the manager came and made sure it was definitely correct and that hubby was happy. I had a sweet tea, Chicken fried chicken w/ smashed red potatoes and green beans (which was a 3 of 5, so yummy) and hubby had Pesto Pasta and had shrimp & chicken added (he gives it a 3). Keep in mind a 3 is a mid-range judgment but that's not a bad rating. We just had to add some good ole S&P to take it up a notch. I see myself coming back and even recommending but a point of advice to management: Please teach the wait staff you cover their mouths when they cough (it wasn't my waitress but one who was in close proximity.) That's just poor manners and a bit of putting as well. But I'd give the lunch date a 4.5 read more

Great eats, great location. Loved the vibe and atmosphere. Nice place to come watch a game and hang out.

Fairly new restaurant (opened in May) with a ton of potential. The menu for lunch was extensive with plenty of options for every preference. The location right off the Texas Lottery Music Stage and outdoor misters across the front patio that extends the length of the building will make it a popular destination on weekends. Indoors is roomy and booths are large. We took recommendations from our waitress and went with the El Jefe Burrito and Texas Pulled Chicken Salad. Both were huge, but El Jefe was the fave. Loaded and full of flavor with a little latent heat. The salad was good but if it was the only thing I tried this might be a 3 star review. The chicken seemed sparse for such a large salad and it was a bit dry until I asked for more bbq sauce. Still, with so much more on the menu there are plenty of reasons to come back. read more
