Reservoir is an anchor restaurant at the Toyota Music Factory with one of the best dining atmospheres in all of DFW, especially when there's an event on the TMF Plaza. The menu continues to surprise me; this visit was during Irving's recent Cinco de Mayo event on the TMF Plaza. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars, 5 Stars if the weather is amazing and there is an event on the plaza. Atmosphere - When the weather is nice, Reservoirs doors are open, and there is an event on the plaza, Reservoir shows its superpowers. I came for Irving's Cinco de Mayo event, and we ended up dining at Reservoir because all the doors were open letting the fresh air, music, and energy in. It's like riding in a convertible. 1 Star. Service - You seat yourself. Honestly, this is the only challenge with Reservoir. The combination of phenomenal weather, an event, and a busy restaurant led to long waits. Our server was super nice and got us everything we needed, but we had to be patient to finish up. 1/2 Star. Food - I continue to me surprised with Reservoirs menu. On my most recent visit, I went with the Apple Honey Gorgonzola pizza. This white pizza was outstanding. This tasty pie was presented well too! The pizza was served on red and white checkered paper and a wooden square. The cheese was mild and allowed the sweet apple to shine, but the honey added another layer of flavor. And the pizza crust? Soft, but it held up the cheese and apples. Not sure if they use a wood fired pizza oven, but it sure was tasty. Also, my virgin Strawberry Mojito was sweet, cold, and refreshing, putting an exclamation point on Cinco de Mayo. 1 1/2 Star.1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Reservoir continues to be in my TMF restaurant rotation. The newly designed plaza at TMF makes it an even better destination, especially when there are events. Candidly stopped in here after striking out at Yard House, but am really glad we did. Ample seating and tons of TVs. Sat at the bar and service was not only quick but the bartender helping us was knowledgeable on the drinks and food. We visited Reservoir at Toyota Music Factory for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. I ordered the Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Tenders, and my husband had the Lemon Pepper Wings with Waffle Fries. The food was fantastic--hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I enjoyed the "Breezy" cocktail, and he tried the "Bushwacker"--both drinks were tasty and well-made. The only downside was the service. Despite the place not being busy, we didn't receive the level of attentiveness we expected. This is in a great spot by the Toyota Music Factory. On a nice day, it's hard to beat the open windows and live music. Reservoir is super casual, it's a seat yourself bar/restaurant. Wasn't tough to get a table on a Saturday evening at all. Our service was ok - they were super busy and seemed sort staffed so I'm assuming that's why. We tried the pickle pizza after seeing dozens of other tables with pizza and it looked soooooo cheesy and so good. Pickle pizza didn't disappoint! Loved the red sauce compared to the normal white sauce I've seen for this combo. It was the perfect amount of pizza vs standard pizza flavor and between 2 people we finished it! I rented out the entire restaurant for a 3-hour networking dinner, and it was absolutely AMAZING! The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was truly top-notch. From the GM, manager, and assistant manager to the servers, bartenders, and door staff--everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make the night seamless. I've hosted this networking dinner for over 12 years with more than 100 attendees, and this was by far the best service we've ever experienced. The team kept food trays full, bartenders efficient, and somehow there was never an empty platter or a line at the bar. This is a sports bar in Toyota Music Center. Is a cool sports bar, Typical bar food. However, I ordered 3 dishes to go and only received 2. I tried calling the establishment back. I keep gettingnan answering machine. I explained to the answering machines 2x's asking for biskett salad 2 b remove from the receipt and refund the different. No one call back. To be honest, if you want to just go out to drink with friends and watch sports, this place is good. They have beers on draft and great mixed drinks. The food is slacking. Last time, I waited about 45 mins for my food, and it wasn't good. My server Jaelyn was very helpful and she knows about the issues in the kitchen. Wow, it's been awhile since I've had a bad dining experience but here we are. The staff was unnecessarily rude and service was slow. It might not have been bad that the service was slow since it was busy, but the staff did nothing to try and make up for it. They acted like we were inconveniencing them. We were also serviced "mimosas" that came in a regular glass and tasted like just orange juice vs the champagne glasses we saw other people had. We asked to confirm we got the right thing and instead we were served a smart alec response. We weren't even rude about it, just checking since it tasted like straight up OJ. The service here is great though, they were so attentive and gave us the front corner with the retractable garage window that looks into the center stage/lawn/play area. My friends and I visited Reservoir today 9/28/25 and our server was horrible. I would like to add his name but he never introduced himself to us, so I will call him the guy with the thick mustache. We were planning to order food and drinks but only ordered the nastiest pineapple margarita I have ever had. It was so watered down and very disappointting. For the food we nevered ordered because he took for every to bring back the full menu we asked for while ordering drinks. Once he finallt brought us one it was just one for the four of us. Reservoir opens till 2am and has great selection for both food and alcohol and tap beers. I have been with my friends and now we are going every weekend to enjoy our time. The place and service were great. We chose this place solely to be able to watch the Mavs game. It has a sports bar feel to it. The menu did have restaurant-quality pickings so that was a plus. Our drinks and food came out quickly and looked great however, the food was lacking in flavor so bad to the point where we didn't even finish our food. It was a little confusing too because it looked so great! The shrimp tacos were dry entirely and had no flavor and the elote tasted as if it was overcooked and really need more of the dressing because it was bland. My pulled pork was dry and didn't have any seasoning/flavor to it. The veggies didn't taste very fresh and the dressing/sauce was very little compared to the quantity. I came to this restaurant with a friend to catch up and have a few cocktails. The cocktails are great here and my server was very attentive. After about 3 cocktails we decided to get some food. We ordered Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Corndogs. They were decent. The batter on the corndogs could have been cooked a bit longer, because the batter on the inside was a little undercooked. Reservoir is more of a bar atmosphere but children are welcomed as well. The brick oven loaded fries was your typical appetizer item. I would describe the fries as cheesy goodness! When it came to the Cajun shrimp tacos they were pretty tasty. The toppings were mango sauce, queso fresco, chopped bacon, tomatoes, cilantro and a slice of avocado. Everything paired so well together. I'm a pizza fanatic and I'm always down to try new ones so trying the chicken & then some pizza was right up my alley. Tourist trap or just lousy service??? It is late, you are hungry after a concert, you see a bar/restaurant full of people with security at the entrance so you think hey, this is a spot. Well, I have to say X missed this spot and all around it. After being carded by security, you are greeted with a sign at the entrance that states(paraphrasing) "Choose your seats". I look in the bar and it is jammed packed so I found a place outside facing the pavilion stage. My waitress, bless her heart, was taking care of about six tables by herself until another waitress showed up outside to assist. This should have been my cue to exit, but Foodie Yelp must traverse through unknown territories for the truth. Ordered drinks and food on the first ask, 30 min pass, get drinks, 1o min later food to follow, but I cannot with full certainty call what was brought out to the table consumable food unless you are highly inebriated and even then after taking a bite I would err on the side of caution. The order was Buffalo, Honey BBQ wings and waffle fries. I ordered them extra crispy but first when I saw the wings alone I was taken aback by the mere size then I took a bite and had to spit it right out. The wings seemed flash fried with sauce just pour on them in a bowl for show. I was trying to find some decent words to describe the taste and the only word that kept coming up in my thoughts was....artificial! After taking a bite of the waffle fries I had to expectorate those also. I would best describe the Waffle fries as a conglomerate of items to form a waffle like food structure only to instantly dissolve in saliva. The Reservoir has good cold air on the inside with separate music that plays outside, but it is severely overpriced, the food is questionable at best, but hey the glass of water was cold. read more

My husband recently stopped by the Reservoir for drinks with friends. He said the service was fast and the drinks were cold. He brought home dinner for us- both had the Ahi Tuna Salad. I have to say that it was not good at all. The tuna had this gross, mushy consistency. I am wondering if it was possibly old? The dressing has very little taste to it. I met some friends here in the middle of the day during the week. I am always down to try something new and we've been hoping to find somewhere we like in this area. Well, we didn't find it. Came in, the waiter was friendly and said to sit anywhere. He brought out menus and we were looking for lunch specials. Alas, there are none. They do have some happy hour specials, but they don't start until three. We ordered cocktails, as we had the day off, and they had an interesting selection in their drink menu, but they don't list the price. I hate that. How do you know you're going to get an overpriced drink? When they don't tell you how much it is. But hey, it's Las Colinas. It is expected. We decided to just do some apps and got the chili con queso and the tuna tartare. I did not read the description of the tuna tartare and was surprised when it came out, as it looked as if it had mayonnaise gooping out of the tower it was stacked in. Being unreasonable in my distaste for mayo, I did not try it. Apparently it is whipped goat cheese and they think it improves sushi grade tuna. The flavor was described to me as having a weird "something" about it. My friends didn't finish it. I did try the chips and queso and it was completely unremarkable. It says it has pork belly in it, but I didn't get any hint of it or really any smokiness that one associates with pork belly. All in all it was just ok. I ordered the white sangria which was pretty, but not worth $11. We had to ask for ice in our waters. And the manager came by after we ordered and had the weirdest exchange. She asked if we had any questions, and I told her I had not really even looked at the menu. My friend ordered the appetizers and I had just looked at the drink menu. Again she asked me if I had any questions. Again I said no. She asked my friend if she remembered what she ordered. We didn't understand if our order had been screwed up or what but the exchange was off-putting. We all looked at each other, puzzled, after she walked away. The esthetics are nice. Our waiter was friendly, checked on us a bit too much, but there were only three tables occupied, and the patio area is great. The food and the drinks are pricy and forgettable.
