I was driving along Reseda and noticed a huge sign that said Reseda Best Autobody and Paint. As I turned in I noticed a sign underneath stating FREE ESTIMATE. So I parked my car and came inside. Hi, I need estimate on my car please. The receptionist said "okay hold on let me call Jessica." As I turned around, in comes Jessica walking all fast and tells me have a seat. Then she looks at me again and said "what do you need?" I replied an estimate on my car. She then said "okay sit down and wait." Then she takes 2 steps turn back and said "I will charge you $50 for estimate and you will see it on your receipt when we service your car." Im like what?!?!?!? Excuse me? There's a huge sign that says FREE ESTIMATE. She walks away. Im sorry but all those 5 stars are obviously FAKE and I mean FAKE yelpers. Your body language and attitude was so unprofessional. Sorry I don't have pics available. I had an incident of vandalism on a brand new car. I priced it at 4 other shops and twice the price at all 4. The owner here said that's insane and showed me pics of his work and asked I read some of his reviews. I decided after the reviews that he is genuine and more than professional. He didn't make me wait long at all and my car looks better than it ever did! All I can say is if you want "fair", if you want professional and you want that old school value of having someone who cares about his craft then go to Sy at Saticoy and Reseda. They are the best in every way and I have interacted with many body shops during the course of my life. I love my BMW and take care of it religiously. So when somebody backed up and hit my car at the supermarket and damaged the front bumper cover, crimped the hood, and crushed the left front quarter panel, I thought my car would never be the same. They never are when are involved in a fender bender. But not only did Reseda Saticoy Auto Body repair my car so much better than I expected, but I got the car back in BETTER CONDITION THAN BEFORE MY HIT AND RUN! THE ENTIRE CAR LOOKED BETTER THAN IT HAD EVER LOOKED! I wasn't excited about any of the many recommended body shops I visited. But when I noticed Reseda Saticoy Auto Body & Paint Inc., while waiting at an intersection, I noticed they looked clean and squared away, but not so huge that they would forget who you are. I stopped by and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. The minute I pulled in, I was approached by Mona. She was extremely friendly and told me everything I needed to know about her, her brother and their company. Mona explained that theirs is a family-owned and operated shop that takes immense pride in their work. Mona conveyed to me that I am a customer for life and I can always bring my car back for any reason. They provided Customer Service that was second to none! My calls were always answered by Mona or returned within a few minutes. Mona handles the business end, her brother is in charge of repairing the cars and he takes great pride in his work. When I went to pick up my completed car, I was completely shocked because the car looked better than it used to! I was shocked! They not only took care of the damaged areas, but the car as a whole so that it looked brand new all over. I was ecstatic! THEY HAD EVEN FIXED A DOOR HANDLE ON THE INSIDE that a previous mechanic broke and one that I kept meaning to fix myself. They fixed that door handle secure as a rock and it had nothing to do with the hit-and-run; nor had I pointed it out to anybody at Reseda Saticoy Auto Body and Paint. They didn't even mention it, they just fixed it and I never even told them about it. And they didn't charge me a cent. Mona told me that she considered me a customer for life and that if I ever have ANY PROBLEMS, just bring the car in. I did just that when I hit a curb and my lower panels that run the length of the car came loose. Although they had nothing to do with this incident and it was completely my fault,I brought it in and Reseda Saticoy Auto Body fixed it within minutes and charged me nothing, even though I offered to pay! I had zero stress during my entire encounter with Reseda Saticoy Auto Body & Paint Inc., Because they take care of every detail. They dealt with my insurance company. They dealt with the car rental company -- even though there were several problems with them. I did try call the car rental company to deal with one of the more significant issues. I managed to come to a resolution that I found satisfactory, but Mona from Reseda Saticoy Auto Body & Paint Inc spoke with them after me and somehow managed to completely solve the problem. They even invited me to drop by to get my car washed anytime I liked. Although I didn't take them up on this offer, I found it surprising that they would continue to provide me with this service at no cost to me. Like I mentioned earlier, this is a family-run company where everybody knows you and your car. You don't merely become "just another number." And if you are even the slightest bit dissatisfied with anything - and I do mean anything - they will make sure you are satisfied. I took my mom's car after it was hit by the neighbor when it was parked and they did such an amazing job of fixing it. They even touched up all of the scratches that had nothing to do with the dent that was caused by the neighbor. Then unfortunately my daughter's car was parked at a friend's house and a truck hit it and the damage was extensive. I called the shop and they took care of everything, Mona had the car towed and I came in the next day they had already been in touch with my insurance and started the process of getting my car worked on.
