When they discovered a rat had been living in my engine, causing damage, I was shocked - but also impressed by their diligence and expertise. It is astonishing that BOBSMITH had missed this issue just a week prior. Fred honored the price that he quoted and spent extra time cleaning around where the rats had lived for the past couple of months also, kept me updated by sending me a video of the problem and repairs that is done . I came in and met with Fred for the first time back in November the week of Thanksgiving of 2025. Came in with my 5 series, Fred was awesome and encouraging to do a walk around with him on the initial inspection to show what maintenance my car would need. Bear in mind I only came in for an oil change but I explained to him a smell coming out of my vents and he immediately found the culprit to my problem. Quote was given and I gave the Ok to start repairs. Everything was taken care of all in the same day and picked up my car after work. The car drove immaculate and no smell from the vents was ever once noted after their repairs were done. Car was totaled recently from an accident last month and brought in over a 2018 X3 M40i I had just purchased for a post purchase inspection. Fred test drove the car with me, made sure everything underneath to the engine bay was checked and noticed my coolant had mostly water so I Ok a coolant flush and a transmission mount I'll be making an appointment sooner than later to get it addressed- but happy to know I made a solid purchase with an upgrade in comparison to my 5 series. If you own a BMW these are the guys to work with! My review was long overdue and I'll happily be a returning customer knowing my car is in good hands with Fred and his team. I'd shopped around a few places for a window repair on my old 2008 e90 BMW. Some places don't service those older vehicles, other places did, but didn't sound too confident or very familiar with what likely needed to be repaired, and others were quoting high prices. This was the only place I'd called that sounded like they knew exactly what they were doing and at a fair price. They gave me a quote on the phone, I brought the car in the next day and was planning to wait for them to diagnose and get the part in a couple hours. But they happened to have the part in stock. They charged the price they'd quoted me the previous day without any surprises, and I was back on the road in less than an hour. The repair seems perfect as well and the window functioning as it should. I'd been here a long time ago before when it was under previous ownership, about 10 years prior, and hadn't been satisfied with the work or cost. This time I definitely was 100%, the gentleman I was dealing with (I believe the new owner) was professional and courteous, and told me the place was under new ownership. I could tell. I've owned and driven BMWs for 30 years now, from my first 1974 2002tii to my current 2016 228i. Over the years I've been to many mechanics. Bimmers Clinic is a great shop and I recommend them to any BMW enthusiast. They are honest, reasonable and do great work. I had them resolve an issue that another mechanic wasn't able to fix. It was an odd sound coming from the underside of the car. Fred knew right away it was the brake line that was no longer attached to the plastic clips. He even had a after market part made of metal that so I won't ever have this issues again. Also had them do an oil change and replace a headlight bulb. Fred even had my car washed! read more

Beware everyone: Fred cheated me on Labor: Charged me $400 on a job that was done in about an hour. I was there an hour,45 minutes & the actual time my car was worked on, came to about an hour. So, labor charge should've been his hourly rate of $170. He got nasty when confronted & throws a tantrum (with you're wasting my time or you're giving me a headache) when questioned the details of a job. Horrible, dishonest customer service. So, next time Fred tells you: Can I call you a ride because this job takes four hours or so, I would stay there to see the "ACTUAL" time my car gets worked on!! I want to thank Fred and complement his service. I needed a transmission service on a 2011 535i I've owned for 5 years. There were no records of the transmission being serviced. I'd checked with the dealer and with others and it was difficult getting consistent information what type of service to do. When I called Fred, he gave me the time to answer my questions and quote. When I stopped by the shop he again took the time to explain the job and showed me the parts to be replaced and suggested I research some things on line. He did the service I came in for at a competitive price I received from other shops. I also asked he check out the car as my extended service contract was due to expire. I DON'T recommend anyone going there. These guys couldn't recognize a simple fuel pump issue. They charged me $170 for just plugging an OBD scanner and telling me my error codes. Anyone with $6 OBD scanner from Amazon can do that. I came for diagnostics, so after I asked what might cause my problem, they told me to change my spark plugs, coils, battery, oil but not the actual faulty part. Even after I told them that pump was making weird noises, making diagnose task as simple as possible, they still kept saying it was something else. That's unseen lack of professionalism and a lazy attitude towards their work. To me it seems like a scam but not real diagnostic services they were supposed to provide. I wonder how they are still in business. read more

Both are the true specialist in their field and know exactly what they are doing. I had a right side control arm cracked after hitting a pothole. The issue was diagnosed right away and repaired the same day without price gouging. After the repair I was shown the broken part and received an explanation to what exactly happened. I am so happy that I found Fred and Bimmer Clinic! I recently bought a 2012 BMW 328i for one of my kids, and I have been looking for a mechanic I can trust. I'm so grateful I finally found Fred. It is worth noting that I went to another mechanic that also had many positive reviews. I spent a lot of money with that other mechanic, but I had an uneasy feeling about him. Now I know why. When Fred inspected my car, he showed me an oil leak that I paid the other mechanic to repair! When I called the other mechanic, he said the new oil pan must have been defective. Sure. He probably never did it. Now I have to waste time having the other mechanic redo it. The moral of the story is don't always trust someone with many positive reviews. Fred is super honest. Not only did he not try to sell me on things I don't need, he did a bunch of stuff for free, including replacing a parking lamp and a brake sensor, and adding coolant! I can also tell you that he is very fair in his pricing. I showed him the itemized receipt of the other mechanic, and then Fred told me his pricing. Fred's prices were much lower. I can't even imagine how much lower he is than the dealer. BMWs are wonderful cars, and fun to drive, but as they age, they typically need more repairs and maintenance than less exciting cars. Having someone like Fred gives me so much peace of mind. For whatever it is worth, I brought my car to Bimmer Clinic for brake pads. Fred put the car up on the rack, and physically showed me the brake pads and why they needed to be replaced. He also showed me how the rotors had a lip on them, and why they needed to be replaced.
