I tried using East Cooper Locksmith (closer to me) and was told by a young lady that the technician suggested I break the case. I like the case (a Nobl Amazon-type case), and finding an exact match wouldn't be easy. My goal was to preserve it. Mike suggested I try Steve's. He told me they were in Summerlin. I don't mind driving. Mike, from automotive service, said John did some amazing work while he was in service. I looked him up on the interwebs, left a message. 5 minutes later, give-or-take, he calls back. I explain to him my dilemma. He let me know he's in Ladson, and I told him I'm in the Mount P. I had the case in the car and was on my way to East Cooper when I detoured to get the car washed because I was told East Cooper couldn't do it. John asked if I could meet him at the Asian Marketplace on the River. I said ABSOLUTELY! He said he couldn't guarantee anything, and I was happy to take my chance. We exchanged different vehicle makes and models. He said he'd be there in about 30 minutes. Away I went. I get there shortly after he pulls in. I pop the trunk, and he looks at it. Takes out his flashlight. Does some Houdini-type stuff, and BAM!!!! OPEN!!!! Less than 2 minutes, probably less than a minute. I pay him way too much. I didn't ask; I handed him cash. Off we both went. CALL THIS DUDE FOR ALL YOUR LOCK NEEDS!!! Skip everyone else. The big franchises, the other locksmiths. This dude MUST BE YOUR FIRST AND ONLY CALL!!!
